3 out of 5 eggsBackup Mouse Only

Pros: For the price, the mouse is good for general purposes and as a backup.
It's functional at its default 1000 dpi, which is suitable for 1920 x 1080 resolution screens.
The optic eye is steady - it does NOT cause the pointer to jump around the screen.

Cons: After over a year of regular use, the left mouse button wore out showing clicking over-sensitivity issues, making my mouse unusable. Too bad!
This is no gaming mouse. If you want to game, then shell out the money for one.
While not a portable mouse, it is a smaller-than-average mouse. It took time for me to accustom to it.
Because the buttons are bigger, they'll make more noise than an average mouse. It's not that bad.

Other Thoughts: I give it no less than 3 stars, because it lasted as long as it did for me. I believe I got what I paid for (~$10). If you decide to purchase it, remember the title of this review.

4 out of 5 eggsStill a Good Standard Mouse

Pros: The mouse works for general purposes and as a backup.
It's functional at its default 1000 dpi, which is suitable for 1920 x 1080 resolution screens.
The optic eye is steady - it does NOT cause the pointer to jump around the screen.

Cons: It's not robust. After months of playing a game that involves holding the middle mouse button and dragging the mouse, using the middle mouse button/scroll wheel makes the cursor jump through the screen. It's clear that this is no gaming mouse.
Though not meant to be a portable mouse, it is a smaller-than-average mouse. It took time to accustom my hands to it.
The primary mouse buttons make more noise* than your average mouse, but that's mainly because they're also bigger.

Other Thoughts: Other Thoughts: I mostly use it on a flat wooden table surface with my laptop.

* The noise is only a factor within very quiet environments, such as a study room in a library with someone sitting next to you.

2 out of 5 eggsCheap But Unreliable

Pros: This mouse is cheap. You're not going to find much cheaper than this. It's USB, and optical, which is basic and standard these days, but still, better than still using a ball.

Cons: It's barely functioning now. The scroll wheel started having issues after just a few months, the wheel button has ceased working properly, and now both the left and right buttons are having serious click sensitivity issues. I'm having to use a program just to keep my clicks in check while I find a new mouse to purchase. I am not happy at all with Zalman and will not be buying another Zalman mouse.

Other Thoughts: If you really do need just a cheap mouse to tide you over, you can definitely get this and it will work, but don't expect to rely on for too long. Plan ahead, and keep it as a backup, rather than your main.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Strong and firm clicks. I am always second guessing cheap hardware, but I am nothing but happy with this cheap mouse. It's rated for 5 million clicks, I believe. I use it everyday and it has not failed me yet.

Cons: None Yet

5 out of 5 eggsOne of the best mice I ever owned!

Pros: Great feel (ergonomic), average cord length (not too long, but not too short), and nice clicky sound :).

Cons: Clicking sound may bother others if this is ordered for an office environment.
Feels cheap, but doesn't show a sign of being so.
Is a bit smaller than my old mouse, but all of the new models we get at the office are this size, so I think it is the new standard.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my laptop because the touchpad for 8 sucks. I liked it so much, I ordered one for my main pc and 2 more for the day that these die.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Standard Mouse

Pros: THE MOUSE WORKS! That's all I want from a standard mouse.
It's functional at its default 1000 dpi, which is suitable for 1920 x 1080 resolution screens.
The optic eye is steady - it does NOT cause the pointer to jump around the screen.

Cons: Though not meant to be a portable mouse, it is a smaller-than-average mouse. It took time to accustom my hands to it.
The primary mouse buttons make more noise* than your average mouse, but that's mainly because they're also bigger.
The mouse wheel, after frequent use, gets noisy* as well.

Other Thoughts: I mostly use it on a flat wooden table surface with my laptop.

* The noise is only a factor within very quiet environments, such as a study room in a library with someone sitting next to you.
