2 out of 5 eggsWas Great

Pros: Sound was great, fellow racers heard me clear as well.

Cons: Broke after a few weeks of use. I take good care of my stuff too. I should of read more reviews. They bust right the "swivel plastic" area that attaches the ear muffs. Pretty disappointed.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap....

Pros: Cheap. Lengthy cord. It has an inline mute toggle for the microphone. Microphone can be adjusted for optimal placement near mouth. Can be folded up during non-use.

Cons: Right ear cup broke after two months. They are uncomfortable to wear after more than 30 minutes. And the sound quality is lacking.

Other Thoughts: Spend a little extra and get something that won't disappoint after 60 days.

2 out of 5 eggsNot reccomended

Pros: It was definitely very good the first few months I owned it, very good sound quality and great virtual surround environment

Cons: They broke after a few months of VERY careful use, I read the reviews and thought "these people just didn't care about their headset, I will take lots of care of mine" didn't work. I had a little hanger i put them on to ensure they wouldn't touch anything after i used them, they were put on and taken off very carefully... but in the end the right earcup broke off, for no reason except for the cheap plastic the cup connectors are made of. I would recommend saving alittle bit more money and buying something higher quality than this. If you are looking for a one time use headset, then these oughta be fine

1 out of 5 eggs2nd set

Pros: Price
Decent sound
Good mic.
OK for tiny heads.

Cons: Head band too tight
Hurts ears
Excessive pressure cause plastic swivels to fail.

Other Thoughts: I heard Turtle beach had good head sets but I usually snag the cord and rip the wires out. So I bought the least expensive ones.
Well, you get what you pay for.
I just got a replacement from Turtle Beach today. I am thinking to sell or just keep for a back up.

1 out of 5 eggsBroken

Pros: Good sound, nice long cord.

Cons: Swiveling ear cups are not the best idea. The swivel point is weak, and despite handling my headset carefully and always hanging it up when not in use, my left swivel broke today.

They apply a significant amount of force to my ears as well, despite any adjustment I tried, so they were not comfortable for long sessions.

1 out of 5 eggsStay Away

Pros: -Decent mic input quality
-Decent Sound quality
-Long cord

Cons: -Flimsy constructions
-Guaranteed failure due to weak material joints
-Uncomfortable headphone cushions

Other Thoughts: I bought these at a local competitor, and trusted the brand. What I regret doing, was research on my favorite eggsite. This was my first Turtle Beach product and will be my last.

My right headphone cup snapped off at the pivot point after a few months like others here. I tried to salvage it by a combination of modeling clay and guerrilla glue, which worked great; however, the other side had just snapped off the other day.

Buyer, beware...

1 out of 5 eggsCaveat emptor

Pros: Well, the only pros for these are that wallyworld carries them and they aren't that expensive

Cons: Sound quality is sub-par. You don't really notice that so much while gaming, but it becomes very evident when say listening to music.

As other reviewers have noted, the ear piece swivels are shoddily constructed and extremely fragile. Both sides on my set are broken. However, this can be easily remedied by using zip ties in the same manner as one would use a hose clamp. Simply zip-tie around the swivel joint right around where the screws are. In fact, if anyone buys these things, I highly suggest you preemptively apply zip-ties to the swivel joints as described above.

Other Thoughts: I'd suggest simply staying away from this model. However, they do work in a sweet jebus, batman It's 3AM and I need a headset/mic STAT trip to wallyworld kind of way.

2 out of 5 eggsCheap emergency headphones

Pros: Decent sound quality for the price and the cord is extremely long. Made it easy to go anywhere in my room and still be able to listen to my stuff. Lightweight and shouldn't feel heavy unless you have a pencil neck. Wear them 6+ hours a day sometimes and never notice any fatigue unlike larger bulkier sets I've owned.

Cons: Left ear piece broke off after about six months for no apparent reason. Also the headset was extremely tight and uncomfortable for several months and actually put a callous on my ear. Cheap soldering near the mute / volume controls will probably cause a short after several months of use as well (my first pair shorted out after three months).

Other Thoughts: Only reason I would ever buy these are because Wally World carries them and they are open 24/7. Sometimes you just need a pair of junky headphones for travel or something and for the price these aren't too bad. Just don't expect them to last very long, they're made to break so you have to buy another.

1 out of 5 eggsNot buying these again

Pros: Cheap gaming headset, decent microphone, clear audio quality

Cons: Flimsy, poorly designed, will break from long term use.

Other Thoughts: Well, you get what your money pays for. I bought two of these headsets and they both broke within 2 months from generalized use. I'm not buying these again.

1 out of 5 eggsEarpiece broke off

Pros: They had a good sound and worked well for Skype and online meetings. I liked how they folded down for travel which worked well on 2 business trips.

Cons: The plastic for the earpieces is cheap quality. The right earpiece broke off making the headset unusable.

Other Thoughts: I took a gamble hoping the negative reviews were from people who just got a bad pair. I was wrong.
