1 out of 5 eggsThe Worst

Pros: Of course there is a pro..When they are fresh out the package.

Cons: Everything. From the very uncomfortable over ear muffs that are like...Rock solid hard.. They broke by me simple flexing the band and trying to put them on my head.. "i have a very small head im 130lbs" The sound quality isn't really that special either. And they are just weaksauce. I have these things Duck taped and electrical taped everywhere just the worst product..I will not ever buy a pair of turtle beach again because it was the first ive ever owned and the last.

Other Thoughts: Dont judge a book by its cover...They look like they would be very good headphones. But do NOT buy these Do not! They should have taken these off the market after the first batch they let out.

2 out of 5 eggsAwful....

Pros: Sound is good when they work.

Cons: First pair, the cord had a connection issue right at the volume/mic control junction which would sometimes stop the left speaker from working at all unless moved around a bunch to find the exact spot that it worked. The plastic they used for the connector, just like other reviews here, is absolute garbage, and brittle. This is my second pair, and I just hear the "crack" when taking them off. They now have a hairline fracture that im sure will go all the way through in a matter of days. At least the second pair didn't have an issue with the connector/cord. I didn't buy these on new egg, but had to come leave a rating

Other Thoughts: don't buy them. Not worth the money. I'll probably go back and get a cheaper set that won't break in 2 weeks.

2 out of 5 eggsDefinitely Not Worth It

Pros: The sound is superb. Both the speakers and the microphone deliver high quality sound that leaves nothing to be desired in gaming, music or other media.

Cons: The construction is terrible. The plastic is brittle and prone to breakage at the joints between the yolk that holds the earpiece and the headband. Mechanically and structurally this is an unreliable product with a too short useful life.

Other Thoughts: I bought one of these more than 18 months ago. Within weeks the microphone began generating static until it was moved around a bit. Obviously a faulty connection. Almost 5 months to the day from taking the unit out of the box the joint at the left earpiece simply disintegrated. Turtle Beach replaced the unit. Despite very careful handling after 15 months of relatively light use the same joint on the new headset disintegrated. I expected the construction to match the sound quality but I was wrong in the extreme. It doesn't reflect well on Turtle Beach that they put great audio equipment into a shoddy, flimsy housing. My suggestion is that you save your money and buy another brand.

3 out of 5 eggsTB headset

Pros: Great, comfortable headset with excellent sound quality.

Cons: The cord, I think, was almost too long.

Other Thoughts: Headset ended up losing sound in the right earpiece and had to buy another Headset.

2 out of 5 eggsHorrible

Pros: They can prop the door open pretty well.

Cons: This head set is one of the worst thing I've ever owned. The mic has a static noise all the time. The right speaker is quieter then the left. And it is very fragile. I snapped it in half just by taking it off my head.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy these.

1 out of 5 eggsBroke within a month

Pros: Good quality sound
Good quality mic

Cons: Tight squeeze on head, too tight.
Rather heavy, with something heavy you would imagine they would be built better.
Left and right side cracked within 2 weeks. (on adjustment sliders)
Left and right side completely broken within a month. (on adjustment sliders)

Other Thoughts: I spent around $70 bucks in-store for one of these. I have had a $15 dollar set last way, way longer. Like i said within 2 weeks both sides of the ear pieces (slide adjustment) were cracked, within a month complelety broken. Now taped until i can go buy a $15 dollar pair.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat headset

Pros: The audio quality of both the speakers and the mic are just fantastic. Game sounds are perfect. Can hear every little detail very clearly. Amazing bass. Great for blurays. Sturdy mic.

Cons: Somewhat flimsy feeling. My headset itself hasn't broken but that's because i've been really careful with it since I read after purchasing it that others have broken regularly. My only issue (the reason for 4 eggs and not 5) is that cord. I've had my headset (bought at best buy though) for about 6 months. It started failing about a month ago and is now at the point where I need to replace it. Just ordered a replacement for $20 at the tb website. Kind of ridiculous considering the thing sits on my desk all day and only moves when I gently put it on and take it off.

Other Thoughts: None really. If you're willing to be insanely careful with it then it's worth the purchase. For $50 you just can't go wrong. I spent $90 on it half a year ago and don't regret it because of the incredible audio. I just wish the cord didn't fail already.

3 out of 5 eggsThey're decent

Pros: Comfy
Good sound/mic quality
Long cable

Cons: Broke after awhile

Other Thoughts: After about 3 months of regular use, the 3.5mm jack started not doing so hot. It got to a point where I had to perfectly twist it in my audio plug in order for it to work. The mic then just stopped working 3 weeks later. I replaced these with a older model Tritton AX720 which I'm very happy with.

2 out of 5 eggsTwo so far

Pros: Sounds are amazing, like surround sound in my ears. Comfy Fit, didn't hurt my ears after long use. Mic works great. Price at the time didn't seem too bad.

Cons: I have owned two so far. One my friend was using and in less than an hour of him using it broke, not that it 'broke' and sound won't come out. The adjustment slider on the earphones are made of plastic, and they snapped. He felt bad gave me money to buy a new one. Loved it until i had it near the edge of my desk and my dog, on accident, knocked it down. when i picked it up the same part that had broke when my friend used it, broke again. and the the comfy fit and air tight hold on the ears a gone. so after two of these and the amount they cost, they should have made it a bit more sturdy.

2 out of 5 eggsNot So Great

Pros: First time owner.. Excellent sound quality, they do not hurt your ear, as the ear whole is large, which is very nice.

Cons: very poorly built. in 5 months since i bought these, the first pair the mic quit working within 2 months, and i did a RMA thought TurtleBeach, and got a new pair, now the ear piece broke off (cheap thin plastic) and i am doing a RMA agian through TurtleBeach to try and get a 2nd new pair. buyer beware! price is to high for cheap plastic. i have a pair of Altech Lansing ($25) headsets that are 6yrs old and are in perfect condidtion (very well built) and have good sound also, not as good as tutlebeach though. WILL NOT BUY TUTLEBEACH STUFF AGIAN!!
