5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the price!

Pros: I got these for my girlfriend because she needed new ones for playing Left 4 Dead, they sound amazing. Also at the time I only paid $22 for them so I think it was a good buy. She says she loves them and they sound amazing playing games and while watching movies and videos.

Cons: I don't think its a con for me but the ear cuffs are made out of a sponge foam with a memory foam underneath, some people might not like that but my girlfriend hasn't complained.

1 out of 5 eggsOnly one ear piece works?

Pros: The mic is the only thing that is good....

Cons: Well i been playing with them for a wile now, i hooked them up to my pc with mic and only one side of the headphones works for sound and the other one only works for talking.

Other Thoughts: Well if you would of told me only one side works for sound and the other voices, than i would of never bot them. Now i am going to have to sell them cause they suck, and its not what i wanted.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING headset, especially for the price!

Pros: These are simply the best sounding headphones you will find for under $50. The mic is clear and crisp, the sound quality is amazing (for the under $50 pricetag, I wouldn't take these over my studio monitors, mind you).

Lightweight and comfortable, inexpensive and clean sound... these are awesome, for the price. The fact I can use them with my smartphone, tablet, laptop and desktop PC is the best thing, ever (WiFi only tablets typically don't like the mic on cell-phone headsets, these work beautifully even with my Asus Transformer TF101).

Cons: Some folks may complain about the bass response, but it's unfair to expect a headset in this price range to perform at the same level as $200 headphones. For this price range, this headset has NO actual flaws that I can find.

Other Thoughts: The headset itself has a single 3.5mm plug, ideal for smartphones and tablets. It also comes with a converter cable that splits it into two 3.5mm "headphone" and "mic" plugs that most people are likely expecting. I leave that plugged into the computer most of the time, and simply unhook the headset from there to use it on my phone. It's convenient, reliable and comfortable.

1 out of 5 eggsFlimsy; Poor Audio Quality

Pros: - Microphone works well.

Cons: - Sound quality is poor. The free headphones they used to hand out on airplanes had better sound quality. Bass is exceptionally tinny.

- The headset is flimsy and the plastic in one of the earpieces has already broken. Additionally, volume has been muted in one ear, ostensibly due to some internal damage.

Other Thoughts: The only good thing about this headset is that it wastes little time in self-destructing.

Useless for watching movies, listening to music, or playing games; If all you plan to do is Skype then maybe this headset will work, otherwise, look elsewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsGood product for the money...

Pros: the sound is similiar to the turtle beach px11 that i own which is 40$. it has volume control and a mute mic switch.

Cons: gets uncomfortable after wearing around 4-6 hours......

Other Thoughts: just take a short break after 4-6 hours of gaming...and you should be ready to go.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: First off, shipping from Newegg is fast, of course (ordered Wednesday and got it Friday with the normal 3 day shipping), so good job guys.

About the headset, it really is good quality for the price. Music sounds pretty good, in game (tested with BF3) sounds good on speakers. Mic is good, see cons though.

Cords are good quality, splitter is a great idea. The cord is long, too; should reach your keyboard or computer with ease. Also comes with mic mute and headset volume (separate from device) on a little piece that interrupts the cord (can't think of the name). The piece has a clip for your shirt and such if you want.

The headset feels cushioned and comfortable on my head.

Mic boom is long and is very adjustable.

Well constructed, even though it's plastic it is durable.

It also looks great, especially with a red/black color scheme computer, keyboard and mouse.

Also, cheap. $30 retail.

Cons: Unfortunately, there are a few cons, and ones that you'd probably expect from a budget gaming headset:

The cushions are a bit uncomfortable after at least three hours of wearing them. I wanted to test comfort so I left them on while not using them.
Unless you're a hardcore gamer who refuses to take a break somewhere within three hours, this shouldn't matter too much. It's not that horrible anyway, I've felt worse. Just be sure to take breaks (which are more healthy for you anyway).

When you put the mic close to your mouth or talk ridiculously loudly, the mic distorts your voice. Not a huge deal, just make sure to keep the mic farther from your mouth so it sounds clean.

Bass seems a bit low.

Other Thoughts: In conclusion, this is definitely a great headset for anyone wanting to pay <$50 for gaming sessions and Skype, etc. I recommend this headset fully, but if you have more than $50 to spend, I suggest going for something a little higher quality. I will review again in a month or two to report on how it fares after extended usage.
