1 out of 5 eggsKinda a bummer

Pros: Very comfortable and bluetooth works great.

Cons: So the main issue with these headphones is the drivers. I have a clean install of windows 8.1 and every time i boot my computer the driver doesn't seem to load properly. So my headset is not detected and i have to unplug the USB dongle and replug it back in evertime I reboot or start up my computer. VERY ANNOYING!!! So i went to the turtle beach web site thinking they would have updated drivers. NOPE!!! these where released over six months ago with beta driver version 1.0 and thats all there is. There are no updated drivers and it refuses to update using turtle beaches Audio Hub update program. It doesn't even register with the pc. So I would really avoid buying these. I called customer service and they told me that unplugging and replugging the device is the best fix for the problem.... What!!!! Seriously!! why don't you turtle beach fools update your drivers for this near 200 dollar headset. Super sad. Well the Stealth 450 pc headset is coming out in the next few months so I am looking foward to see turtle beach redeem them selves. Maybe this new pc headset will actually not have a &^%* load of firmware and Driver issues.

Other Thoughts: Just skip these. Its super embarrassing when a audio company like turtle beach just doesn't give a *&%$ about keeping up with its pc market consumers. I mean its been over six months and not driver updates from when this thing was release,,, just shameful...

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Bluetooth compatible, Great that I can play my game and sync my phone to it at the same time the mic works great and it really does lower the sound when talking on the phone. Great investment for those days when the wife calls you and your gaming. No longer have to pause the game or ignore the call you can pick it up straight from the headset. Has multiple gaming modes though never used them and the compression really doesn't help. But the sound is outstanding. Battery time is excellent and even then you can plug it in and charge it while you use them. I have even used them to walk the dog while on the phone in between game rounds.

Cons: Because of the wireless technology it does seem to cut in and out from time to time maybe to three times in a row in a long gaming session seems to get angry after 4-5 hours of use at a time.
The charging cable is short so it does make charging while wearing it difficult .

Other Thoughts: wish they could of not made it wireless but still had the 7.1 sound and bluetooth capability all great set.

1 out of 5 eggsTech Support is Terrible

Pros: It looks like it is quality and the earphones sound impressive

Cons: The mic doesn't work and there is no phone support. There is only email which takes forever. There tech support is so bad that I would never buy this product or anything else from Turtle Beach

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Product - Worse Support

Pros: Wireless + Bluetooth, can use with phone and PC simultaneously.

Cons: Where to start...
1. They are small and uncomfortable. Don't really fit over ears, but shape and size make them pinch your ears.
2. Tons of firmware issues!
a. Microphone stopped working, for RF only(still worked bluetooth) until I did a firmware update.
b. Said firmware update made it so my headset will no longer connect to the receiver...
4. Lack of software / arrived late and lacked features. I waited 3 months after I received the headset before there were any downloads at all from TB.

Other Thoughts: Chat support is unhelpful, trying to run me through the same steps that I already performed.

Easier to just throw them away and never buy another Turtle Beach product again then to try and make them fix them.

1 out of 5 eggsFor being such a big name, very dissapointing.

Pros: Connects to phone and PC at the same time - EXCELLENT!

Cons: 1 I have had this unit replaced 5 times since first purchasing it. It has failed between the headset and transmitter most of the time, just out of now where, it stops transmitting (or receiving, hard to say which)

2 For a Major Brand, they need a call center, this "You email me, and I'll email you" is for the birds, if you have several test you have to go through with them, it takes 2 weeks just to get all the emailing done.

3 The product doesn't hold up. Five replacements proves that.

4 Ear Cups are too shallow, they will bite a hole in your ear. I have rubber banded several layers of soft tissue over them to "soften" the rubbing.

5 Sound is NOT worth $200.00. I have another headset that cost 50.00 that sounds as good or better, and definitely fit more comfortably.

Other Thoughts: The features on this headset are excellent, it's a shame they didn't spend as much time making them comfortable, and durable. If they wouldn't break down and fit better I would definitely want to keep them.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat wireless headset

Pros: The audio is clean and crisp on game mode 4 (tremble and bass boost). Bass is just the right amount. Aesthetically pleasing. The Dolby Digital Surround sound is great in games.

Cons: The range could be longer (It's about 10-12 meters). The charging cord could be longer; It's about 3 feet, I would say so I can't really lean back in my chair too much.

Other Thoughts: If you want to use the Surround sound in games, goto the sound menu in the game and try and find the speaker set-up and adjust it accordingly

1 out of 5 eggsShoddy Construction

Pros: Lots of filterable options with easy use side buttons.
Bluetooth connectivity at the same time as PC connectivity for answering your phone.

Cons: Shoddy Construction. Use of cheap and brittle materials. Easily prone to breaking. Errors with USB connectivity. False Advertising.

Other Thoughts: I first purchased these in November of 2013 after seeing them advertised on the box as a surround 7.1 sound headset. Once purchased and set up, their web site informed me that 7.1 was NOT available without a series of drivers. Those drivers were not released for download from Turtle Beach until March of 2014.

The box on the shelf and the spec chart both advertised a feature that would not be available until 4 months into the future. It's blatant false advertising to sell a product that is not capable of the features listed on the box, website product description, and spec charts.

The box also advertised 200 ft range on the headset. I have never managed to get 50ft. away without the headset losing connection. I tried them on a desktop at home, a laptop in multiple places, and on 3 different desktops at other locations. I never got anywhere near the advertised 200ft range.

2 Months after purchase the left side plastic adjustment slide just snapped. I didn't drop them. I didn't bend them, and I didn't join the WWF and wrestle while wearing them. The plastic arms are brittle straight out of the box. I returned the headset to Turtle Beach for warrantee repair. They kept the heaset for a full month before finally shipping me a new unit.

WIth a new unit, and the drivers for 7.1 surround, I was happy with the headset (aside from the range issues) for a few weeks, but then the USB connection started dropping for no reason AND the heaset began turning off on its own at random times.

The only way to turn them back on would be to plug them in, at which time they would instantly turn back on, but with no USB connection (no sound, no mic). I would have to go through the process of resetting the USB connection in order to get them re-connected and working. It's a simple enough process of holding down buttons and wating for flashing lights and then pushing ore buttons, but it should not have to be done 4 or 5 times a night.

Then they stopped connecting all together. I called tech support and they could not get them connected either, so I shipped them back to Turtle Beach. 38 days later, another new headset arrived at my door.

6 weeks later the left side adjustible slide snapped in the same place as the previous set. I simply glued it back together and taped it for support.

3 weeks later, the headset began randomly turning off again.

Don't waste your money on these. The features are nice, and when working the 7.1 makes for a nice gaming experience, but the product is poor quality, breaks eaisly, and has the kind of reoccuring problems that will remind you of the original XBOX360 red ring of death issues.

5 out of 5 eggsZ300

Pros: I've had these headset for a while and there's absolutely no problem with them. The range is decent, and unless you're going to take your headset into the bathroom with you, there's no need for wireless but it works well. The sound quality is great in fact. I do competitions and scrims online with competitive games that require precision hearing. Determining where the sound came from is crucial because if I'm mislead, it could be a win or loss for my team. They do not disappoint much, and preform well for many games. The Mic quality is fantastic actually, i have a youtube channel and all i use is the headsets microphone and it's fantastic. The noise cancellation is pretty good, my computer gets pretty loud due to its CPU Fan, and you can't hear anything in the background. Solid Headset. It also comes with preset EQ which work very well depending on what you're doing.

Cons: Not much to it, solid headset build. Not sure why people would say the audio is that bad, because honestly it isn't. This isn't a studio headset, this is made for gaming, so if you're trying to use these for studio purposes or expecting studio/acoustic audio quality, you're just out of luck.

Other Thoughts: It's just a little expensive, comes with a nice box though.

3 out of 5 eggsGood sound. Nice features. Bad comfort.

Pros: -Great sound quality
-Effortless driver installation
-Cool bluetooth phone feature
-Voice playback is amazing, you hear yourself talking and it helps you form clear sentences

Cons: -Ears touch inside of ear cups, a deal-breaker for me. If you don't mind this or know how to fix it, then disregard this.

Other Thoughts: Bought these to replace my war-torn x42's (great headset, but not optimized for PC's). Was greatly impressed by sound quality, however, note that 7.1 surround will create a big-room type effect that you may or may not like. This is just dolby with headsets, not this particular headset's fault. I loved every feature of these, but the fact that my ears touch the inside of the cups is a big no-no for me. It starts to hurt after an hour or so, and is extremely annoying. Enough so that I had to return them. If this doesn't bother you, consider these as your next headset upgrade.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: -Good sound
-Bluetooth works great!
-mic is detachable

Cons: - Range is a bit short

Other Thoughts: Watch what others say I've head this headset for awhile now and haven't had any problems, some people just cant take care of stuff and they don't feel like cheap plastic either.
