5 out of 5 eggsSometimes you just want a mouse

Pros: It's a mouse. It performs flawlessly. It's a great size.

I use it for work as much as games. I don't feel ridiculous using it in a coffee shop because it's much more subtly styled than most gaming mice (I would remove the glowing scroll wheel however).

The adjustable polling and dpi switches on the bottom are nice. Again, they're out of the way so it looks like a normal-ish mouse. I only use them when switching the mouse between my laptop and desktop to get my preferred sensitivity for the machine and screen size.

One of my favorite features is actually the braided cord. It's got a little stiffness to it which makes it less likely to tangle.

And if you're wondering about it's lack of laser-ness, well, I've had several laser mice in the past and noticed zero difference between the optical sensor and a laser sensor. And if you're reading this review, you're not a pro gamer and you too won't notice.

Cons: Like many things that glow red, if there's any actual light in the room it appears to glow a sickly, faint, red-orange from the wheel and the logo. Wish there was a way to disable the lights.

Other Thoughts: Overall Turtle Beach did a great job on this mouse. It's definitely the best mouse I've owned (but not the most expensive).

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Budget Gaming Mouse

Pros: +Comfortable even for someone with larger hands
+Sensitivity is adjustable without any drivers or applications
+Braided (hopefully pet resistant) cable
+Decent range of polling and DPI settings

Cons: -Side buttons feel a bit floaty/flimsy
-Can't turn LEDs off (not a huge issue as they aren't super bright)

Other Thoughts: I've had this for ~1 month at this point in replacement of an older model Razer Deathadder and I haven't been disappointed. If it lasts as long as that Deathadder did (five years) I will be extremely happy. Even if it doesn't I will still be very satisfied with this purchase as this mouse wasn't especially expensive and is very comfortable.

5 out of 5 eggsTBG 300 Gaming Mouse

Pros: Reasonable cost, pleasant finish texture, adjustable resolution and polling, smooth sliding, durable cord, no software overhead.

Cons: Could be too small and light weight for some.

Other Thoughts: This is like a luxury version of an old, basic, Microsoft mouse, with the added bonus of adjustable resolution.

If you're a twitchy 13 year old gamer with the reflexes of a superhero, it may annoy you that you lose a whole second when you turn the mouse over and throw a switch to change resolution mid-game, but the rest of us won't find it to be a big deal. It's handy for graphics work, and dumb-simple to activate.

I purchased this mouse for general use and occasional gaming. Being used to larger palm grip configurations, I had some difficulty getting used to the claw grip and the light weight, and still miss support for my two little fingers.

The lack of extra buttons has not been an issue for me because I realized that I never took the time and trouble to program them on the more complex mice I have owned anyway.

Hard to beat this one for the price. Durability unknown at this point.
