eDimensional and BenHeck deliver the AudioFX Pro 5+1 gaming headset, put it on and your game will never be the same. 5.1 surround sound lets you hear where the monsters are coming from and the force feedback feature allow you to feel when they’re coming up behind you so, you know even sooner when you need to turn and fire.

All that technology is encased in a new framework that provides better comfort for long gaming sessions and the durability to handle being taken to games without worrying about them. The new oval ear cups do a better job than ever before at blocking outside noise for a total immersion experience. The headband is fully adjustable and the ear cups now pivot for maximum comfort.

These are a great choice for people who use the new gaming laptops as well as those using conventional rigs since instead of a bundle of 3.5mm jacks that you have to worry about plugging into the correct holes, all you have to do is plug these into an open USB port. An integrated 5.1 decoder is built in as is an inline control for volume, mute and force feedback level.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Headphones

Pros: These were the most amazing headphones I've ever owned. I could wear them for hours on end without any form of headset fatigue. When cranked up, they were louder than any other headset I have ever worn. When maxed out for an hour or so, my ears would ring like I just left a concert. Add in the force feedback and the awesome EQ style lights on the ear cups, and you have one hell of a headset. I just wish they weren't discontinued.

Cons: The drivers were a pain to get working, but you only have to get them running once. :)

Other Thoughts: I managed to break mine after several years of use. Saddest day ever.

3 out of 5 eggsThere not as bad as the world is making them..

Pros: The side's have a light up equilizer they go up and down with the audio. comfy Nice sound, you do get what you pay for in sound

Cons: The mic is horrible,

Other Thoughts: People say this does not work with windows 7. They just lack the intelligence to go to the website and download a patch for windows7.
If this goes on sale for cheap and you want a gaming headset buy this and use your webcams mic instead

1 out of 5 eggsNope

Pros: Great head rattling bass.

Cons: Hurts your head and ears quite badly, very very heavy and tight. Mic broke after 8 months.

Other Thoughts: Don't waste your money. The "5.1" is non existent. Just buy some speakers if you want surround sound.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: Bass

Cons: Wire light is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS on. Cups are small on my ears and the headband never got any looser or broken in in the 6 months I have owned it.

Other Thoughts: Sound quality is decent but if you are going to spend 65 bucks might as well spend a few extra bucks and get a razer headset or something that is waaaay better.

1 out of 5 eggsThe Crappiest product I ever bought in my life

Pros: Cheap

Cons: First off, I noticed a periodic scratching sound that persisted in the headphones and got worse after I tried playing a game. Next the microphone cut out 2 minutes after I took it out of the box and I notices a burning smell right afterwards. Third, the left and right channels are backwards with no way to switch them. Fourth, the sound quality is one of the worst i've ever heard. BUYER BEWARE!

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately I don't think I can get my money back. I wish I had tested this product right after I had recieved it but I waited several months before even plugging it in.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks OOB OSX 10.6.7

Pros: Recognized by both Win7 HP/64bit & OSX 10.6.7 Out Of the Box

Cons: OK sound, not sure about the force feedback.

Other Thoughts: Didn't even consider these for OSX, but they work very well.

1 out of 5 eggsSucks. Period.

Pros: Loud as hell.

Cons: LOUD AS HELL. the lowest setting on PC will still blow out your eardrums. Almost intolerable. The entire headset is cheap plastic and creaks like the floor of a 200 year old house with the slightest movement. It's over all a cheap peice of junk. You have to seriously baby this thing to keep it from breaking, the cord is short and the volume/feedback controls on the cord feels like its just held on by bubblegum and might fall off at any moment. Also ive been using it all this evening and ever half hour to hour I have to unplug it and restart teamspeak because the mic shorts out and gives me 'robot' voice. super aggrivating while playing EVE online in full screen mode. Dont buy or waste your time, get a turtle beach set, the cheapest set is 100X better than these. Once my TB set gets here, these are going in the trash.....after i smash them to pieces, which i might add wont take much.

3 out of 5 eggsEdimensional - Not so hot

Pros: The sound is better than my existing headphones. I used these for stereo listening, computer games and they worked welll for most of these applications.

Cons: You really have to crank up the sound to feel the force feedback effects. I never play with the sound so loud it hurts, but that is what you have to do to really feel the effects. Also I bought Call of Duty Black Ops which stuttered and froze until I stopped using these usb headset. Once the headset was removed from my system the game runs fine. These are not a substitute for a good sound card.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The Audio FX PRO 5+1 headset are a good item to have, the quality build for the headset seems to be strong material and the confort foaming padding are a good desing and does not hurt the ears after a long period of time. apart from the audio is an adverage or good sound quality and not the best as advertice the force feedback is the best out there it give an explosion the effect of a subwoofer speaker, the microphone is good and gives a clear audio, USB connection for the headset are verry easy to use just plug and play an option of installing an audio drive is included for optimization virtual 5.1 audio. under Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 for Win7 had to download new driver from website.

Cons: Not a true 5.1 surround sound like your home theater but that optimizes 2 speaker system for virtual 5.1 sound. and you don't have full control of the force feedback but have three option off-low-high but to feal the feedback raice the volume sound itself.

Other Thoughts: not yet.
