2 out of 5 eggsNever Again

Pros: Good Sound, I do not have a his or buzzing noise in my headset. Mic is clear when it works. Detachable Mic is also nice if you just want to listen to music.

Cons: First time I bought one of these it only lasted for about a month. When I contacted Rude I didn't get a response for atleast another month. I called almost everyday and no call back. I finally emailed them instead and received a reply from someone asking for the reciept of purchase. I received a new headset in 2 weeks time. Sound still works on the second one but the mic port stopped working and now I can't use the mic. You have to be SUPER gentle with these as they break very easily. Also the battery pack for the vibration is very cheap and the clip to keep it closed breaks to easily.

Other Thoughts: I suggest getting a different headset, since you can get other headsets for the same price or for a little more and have better quality. Also Customer service for them are horrible and if you HAVE to get in contact with them do so from there website and use the contact us form.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Headphones

Pros: Comfortable over ear, wide size range...fits my 8year old comfortably and my adult head and that's about about 3/4 of it's max size. 3.5mm connectors (i hate usb headphones) detchable mic is nice since i dont' use it much, and the usb powered "bass" gives depth to the sound. long cable (6ft?) good sound (better than my logitech speakers), inline volume control

Cons: In line volume control is nice, but if you turn it all the way up regardless of the windows volume there is a his. Best sound seems to be keeping the inline volume in the middle or lower and getting windows volume where you want it...after that slight volume adjustments inline don't give the hissing. The usb powered "bass" seems to come from the left ear more than the right, maybe it's just me though.

Other Thoughts: I'm sad that these are no longer socked by newegg, my kid loves them and wants to use them for everything. came here looking to get another set since i've had these since xmas 2010 and still loving them...but they are no more.

2 out of 5 eggsSeemed nice at first...

Pros: Sounds pretty good.
Cool Vibrate Feature.
Price (At the time).

Cons: After a month or so the vibrate feature stopped working so I contacted Rude and didn't get much help with it. Now after about 6 months the right ear speaker has gone out and is basically worthless...

Other Thoughts: If it would keep working, it would be a good product for the money.

4 out of 5 eggsgood headset

Pros: The set has very good sound. I use it for on-line gaming. I am very pleased with it.

Cons: Once in a while the microphone will quit working. I just unplug the microphone from the headset and then plug it in again, and it starts working.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't waste your money

Pros: The headset is somewhat comfortable and sounds decent enough...

Cons: Microphone quit working after 3 weeks...I messed around too long trying to get a replacement mic, instead of sending the whole unit back (now it is too late)...Rude Gameware doesn't respond to phone calls (goes to message), emails, or open tickets. I didn't see a point in shipping the whole unit back for a defective detachable microphone, which i regret now.

Other Thoughts: On a side note, my other headset "TekNmotion Pulse Wave" mic went bad, and my email was responded to in less than 2 hours. I offered to buy 3 replacement mics, and TekNmotion sent me 3 replacement mics at no charge (I just had to ship off my defective mic to them)...Now I regret not buying a 2nd headset from TekNmotion, instead of Rude Gameware...I won't be making this mistake again...

5 out of 5 eggsSo far, best headset I've ever owned!

Pros: It's very, VERY comfortable. I'm usually not a fan of this headset design, but this thing's got so much padding, you can wear it for hours and hours without any pain. The sound quality is darn good, too, and the vibration feature is really nice, too.

Cons: The vibration does distort the sound a bit. A true audiophile would more than likely leave it off. I don't mind it, so it's not enough to knock off an egg.

Other Thoughts: I got mine on special, so it was an even better deal! It's worth full price. Don't get me wrong =D

3 out of 5 eggsWere ok...

Pros: Sound quality was average. The mic was actually pretty decent.

Cons: Broke after a month and a half of use... Lost sound out of one earpiece even though I pampered them.

Other Thoughts: Buy them on sale. Not for the regular price.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Headphones

Pros: Great for gaming, ok for general use. Bass is good when gaming, the microphone is not so good. Nice and comfortable if playing for 2-3 hours.

Cons: Not great for music only.

4 out of 5 eggsNice for the Price

Pros: They were pretty cheap (35-ish I think as a Shell Shocker).
The vibrate feature is awesome with gaming (not music).
Sound quality is good, as well as the mic.
Nice long cord, I can stretch them across my room and watch a movie from the couch with them on.
The interchangeable battery pack.

Cons: So, the comfort. It really isn't too much of an issue considering headphones that go over my ears usually start hurting within an hour. I can usually stand these for a little over 3 hours before I have to find a new way to position them or take them off for a bit (which is probably what I should do anyway after gaming for 3 hours).

Other Thoughts: When the vibrate feature is on there is a static noise in the background, which isn't really too much of a problem because I usually just turn the vibrate feature off when I'm not playing a game.

I would still definitely recommended these!

3 out of 5 eggsok gaming headset

Pros: very solid gaming headset. pretty good sound quality. the rumble pack is a good bonus. nice price at around 50$. and long enough cords to get a nice distance (don't get me wrong cords aren't very long but long enough for most peoples needs)

Cons: i took off 2 eggs for a few reasons.
1. when the rumble pack is on, if you arent listening to anything you can hear a high pitch wine. this isnt a problem when there is sound on. i normaly keep the rumble off anyways.

2. ear pieces are not big enough. i have normal sized ears and they tend to hurt the edges of your ears after around 30 mins to an hour of having them on. you can get used to this, i have not suffered any actual sores except just maybe my ears get red after a few hours of gaming.

3. these aren't very big issues. but the sound is very low and then it jumps to very high when u are turning up the volume. this could also be just my headset. but just informing. also the cord for the mic and sound plugs are very thin and seem like they could break very easily (havent had a problem with that though. and lastly the mic points downward a little to much. to fix this just i bent it upwards a little (has a rubber mic that's bendable) it was just another minor thing.

Other Thoughts: all together this is an ok gaming headset. not the best you can get for 40$ but nice enough. i was lucky enough to get this on sale for about 29.99$ during a shell shocker (depending on the percent always jump on those good shell shockers).

if you have 50-60$ i would go the extra mile and spend a little more on a turtle beach headset.
