1 out of 5 eggsPaired Once, Can't Pair Again

This review is from: Fuji Labs Wireless AUFJ-W-HD2000-BK Professional Stereo Headphones - Black

Pros: - Great bass and sound quality
- No sound lag
- Plenty comfortable

Cons: - Came with no instructions
- Manufacturer website has no manual, not even a product page
- Bluetooth can't seem to detect almost at all, took nearly half an hour to pair for the first time

Other Thoughts: This set of wireless headphones has been a nightmare. Got it in the mail, opened it up. Packaging had no instructions or anything. Went to Fuji Labs website, they don't even have a product page or downloadable manual. Had to play with the thing for half an hour before I was able to get it to even be picked up by my laptop's bluetooth adapter (by comparison, it pairs up with other computers, PS4 controllers, and phones without issue). Even then, it failed to pair, and I had to muddle another 10 minutes to finally see it show up again and successfully pair it.

Flash forward to today. My roommate unpaired the headset for whatever reason, and I've spent the better part of the day trying to get the darn thing to pair again. Frustrations are multiplied by the fact that I have no idea how to even get this thing to seek a pairing. It'll work through USB, but I wouldn't have gotten a wireless headset if I wanted to be grounded to a port. This has been a terrible experience and I won't be buying this brand again.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Anthony,

Thank you for your business. We noticed from your review that you were a bit un-happy with the product purchased. Fuji Labs wanted to reach out to you to clear some things up.

It sounds like you had a struggle re-pairing the Bluetooth. In order for the Bluetooth to pair quickly and successfully make sure the device is not paired with any device. Next press and hold the power button down until the red and blue light flash alternately and then let go. If the device was previously paired before, then you should hear a prompt saying " power on, connected " From there the Bluetooth should pair. Please note that if you press and let go of the power button early when the blue lights begin flashing it will not go into re-pairing mode. Wait till the light flash alternately with red and blue light then release the button.

We currently have a driver update file on the website that may fix some issues you are having with pairing your laptop and headset. They can be located at the Fuji Labs website under support page. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We hope this has cleared up any issues you are having with the Wireless headset.

Please feel free to reach out to us should you have any more questions or issues.

Thank you again for your time and consideration.

Hope you have a great week!
Fuji Labs Support Team

4 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Fuji Labs Wireless AUFJ-W-HD2000-BK Professional Stereo Headphones - Black

Pros: Fast connection speed | No lags between the playback | Battery Notification | Voice Notification | Fast Charging |

Cons: Poor Materials | Attract dusts | Airy

Other Thoughts: I have used few headphones through out the year and i love that this one b/c it has no lags at all. That is one of the main reasons. It has a voice notification that let me know when its on and off. Battery lasts longer. The battery notification let me know when to charge the headphone and the charging is quick as well.

Wish the company could use materials that do not attract dust and a stronger plastic. as you may see in-the images, the out cover has gap. i fear it might falls off soon or later.

Suggestion: instead of using the soft plastic for the headrest, use the PU leather that, this way it will not show dust build and it could have looked premium build.

4 out of 5 eggsGenerally ok

This review is from: Fuji Labs Wireless AUFJ-W-HD2000-BK Professional Stereo Headphones - Black

Pros: Connected to Bluetooth on my phone with ease. They seemed to be very well built, sturdy. Stayed on my head well. Controls on the side were spaced far enough apart to easily control.

Cons: I like bass, but this headset almost over does it.
I bought them due to it saying it isolated outside noise, but they were very poor at doing that.
Even thought they fit me well(yes, I have a big head), I did not have to extend the band any, like another reviewer stated, these might not fit well unless you made a spacer.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Bass, Bad Treble

This review is from: Fuji Labs Wireless AUFJ-W-HD2000-BK Professional Stereo Headphones - Black

Pros: Good Bass Response
Very Good Battery Life
Versatile--Bluetooth and Wired Connections

Cons: Inadequate Treble Response
Limited BlueTooth Range
Not Enough Adjustment Range for Medium to Small Heads

Other Thoughts: These ended up being a disappointment. Was looking for something to handle wireless around the house music streaming but it has less effective range than most of my cheaper bluetooth earbuds. While the bass is better than those earbuds, the treble is very much NOT. I haven't played with equalizer software yet to see if I can reduce the issue but was hoping for better at this price point/form factor. Finally, I have a medium sized male head but these still fit loosely even with the adjustment compressed the whole way.

5 out of 5 eggsGood wireless headset

This review is from: Fuji Labs Wireless AUFJ-W-HD2000-BK Professional Stereo Headphones - Black

Pros: - Pretty easy to use
- Comes with call control buttons

Cons: - Doesn't really cover distances as well as some headphones I've used
- Volume settings seem to keep changing to loudest possible.
- Sometimes it: powers on -> connects to paired device -> immediately disconnects. I just reconnect and it's fine the second time, but that's a minor annoyance

5 out of 5 eggsSweet sound at a bargain price

This review is from: Fuji Labs Wireless AUFJ-W-HD2000-BK Professional Stereo Headphones - Black

Pros: First off, the sound: If you're the type who's comparing specs and performance at the audiophile level, you probably would not be looking at these in the first place. That said, the sound of these 'phones is outstanding. OK, so they're not Bose, but at a fraction of the price? C'mon. Although these are not truly noise-cancelling, they do a good job of reducing the junk sounds around me without having to blast the volume. The volume, BTW, is more than adequate for most uses, although I should say I haven't cranked them to their max yet because, well, that would be painful and I'm not into that sort of thing.

The fit: I've got what most would consider a "good-sized" noggin (7-5/8 hat)...and these easily (and comfortably) accommodate that. Too many budget sets are made for tiny-headed people/kids/dogs/who knows, with often little room to adjust. I generally wear these at or near the shortest setting of the headband (unless wearing a ball cap), at they fit just right. I could probably wear these with a beanie AND a hoodie with room to spare. If you have a smallish coconut, you might look elsewhere.

Comfort: I purchased these specifically to use at work, where I'm often plugged in 6-8 or more hours a day. I took a leap on these as there are not a lot of reviews to be found yet online. I found that I can wear these for upwards of ten hours a day, provided that I give my ears a break along the way every hour or two. The cushions are not overly stiff or soft, but if you're expecting Bose-level comfort, they're not quite there. A co-worker of mine has the Bose QC's and they're just miles better all the way around....and they're also 7-8 times the price. I just wasn't willing to drop that dime just yet. We'll see how the earcups hold up over time (I've only had these a few weeks so far), but they don't show any obvious signs of poor quality as of yet.

Battery life: See above paragraph. I wear these a LOT, every day. A single USB charge easily last the hours I need and then some, which was a big plus in my decision to purchase these. The charging port (micro-B) seems very solid.

Range: I don't typically venture too far from my desk while wearing these, but when I do go out let's say 30 feet, I have yet to experience any dropout/loss.

Cons: On a couple of rare occasions, I've had the audio become sporadic or stop all together. I subsequently had to stop and start the bluetooth service in order to resolve the issue. I'm not sure if this was the headphones or (more likely) the dongle or even the Realtek audio choking, but in each case I was able to get back to working condition with no lasting effects. These never have trouple pairing/connecting.

Other Thoughts: Given the price, how can you not give these a spin?

4 out of 5 eggsGreat value, works great so far.

This review is from: Fuji Labs Wireless AUFJ-W-HD2000-BK Professional Stereo Headphones - Black

Pros: Sturdy construction, very similar to beats without the exorbitant price.
Easy to pair. Micro usb charging.
Large enough cups to fit all but the largest dumbo ears (sorry, not trying to be mean here).

One simply doesn't expect audiophile quality from a bluetooth headphone, so I won't expound on this area except to say the sould was decent and it has very good (not perfect) noise isolation (not noise cancelling).

Cons: This thing is built for monster sized heads! For average (which means 90% of the world) to smaller heads, this thing won't stay on your ears, gravity will pull it down and off your ears, unless your ears ride exceptionally "low" on your head. You'd think the designers would test fit these things on multiple head sizes! Only the largest 1% of heads in the world would even need to extend the cans using the adjustable headband slides.
This is the only major drawback. Inventive users can DIY a foam pad under the top of the headband to help compensate for the sizing discrepancy. I plan to salvage some nice memory foam somewhere, wrap it in some nice cloth or faux leather and fix it to the headband somehow.

Other Thoughts: Great Value; Won't fit 90% of normal people out of the box; Good noise isolation; Wish I had bought 2 or even three of these during the promo sale.
