2 out of 5 eggstwo words: BAD DRIVER

Pros: when this mouse works its a great value, doesnt skip, accurate to the degree that i need it, and a generally good mouse, you can even on the fly adjust dpi which comes in handy for games like battlefield where you go between highly sensitive areas and non sensitive area

Cons: the driver will not permanently install!!!! even if it was a simple as pulling the USB out to reinstall Windows (7 premium) does not always recognize the device, so to get to to sync up you have to plug it in and unplug it until it takes, this can take anywhere from 3 to 30 times. what makes matters worse is the complete lack of support from the manufacturer, their website does not mention the product at all, there is no driver (first party of otherwise) to fix this problem. i have even emailed the company and received no response beyond an automate your problem is in processing.

Other Thoughts: solid hardware, solid specs, inadiquate software, no support

1 out of 5 eggsWarning

Pros: Its a mouse

Cons: After a few days it stopped working correctly.

- Cursor is shaky and sometimes jerks

- Mouse is awkward to adjust (speed) and sometimes doesnt follow movements correctly

- Its really a 5 button mouse, the two buttons on the left of the mouse wheel are dpi adjusting buttons (cannot configure for gaming or anything else).

- Coord is short

- Their are NO drivers for this mouse. No support at the company website (ione) or even a profile of this mouse.

Other Thoughts: I was in desperate need of a new mouse and liked the color / look of this one but in this case, i would say i got what i paid for but i was under the assumption i paid for a mouse that works.

Avoid like the plague and look for a better mouse. If your short on money, play it safe and only buy a mouse with zero negative reviews because most of the time, the positive ones are from the company themselves.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Gaming Mouse

Pros: Great low cost gaming mouse, but it works better than I expected. The product's page never mentioned it has the programmable button features, so it don't bother me.

Cons: No Complain at this price

1 out of 5 eggsThis mouse sucks

Pros: None

Cons: 1: This mouse is jerky and does not read movement smoothly.
2: You cannot configure the buttons.
3: The company that makes the mouse's website does not even display this mouse as part of their lineup.
4: The US site "Support" button does not work.
5: The only way you can download or even see what drivers are available is to go to their tw website.
6: I've checked all their websites and none even display the Lynx-S2 (English, Taiwan, UK)

Other Thoughts: This mouse is not worth it... avoid it.

2 out of 5 eggsOK mouse, but you can't customise

Pros: It works... so far, and has 7 buttons, but read the cons.

Cons: If you want or think you can customize the buttons... then look for another mouse. You are stuck with the buttons set and you can't change or remap them.

The Company website does nothing, gives you no information, and the links to its support does not even work.

The website doesn't even have this mouse as part of their lineup and searching for this mouse brings up 0 results (on their own website).

Other Thoughts: If I knew this mouse was like this... I would have just paid more money for a microsoft mouse as at least you can change the buttons to what you want, instead of being forced to use the buttons as is.

My opinion is to stick with the larger better known and better supported brands of user input devices... I know I will from now on.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Mouse

Pros: The mouse has an LED that represents the different dpi settings. Blue- 800dpi, Green-1600dpi, Red-2400dpi. Very fluid and responsive when using the highest setting. The two buttons by the mouse wheel control that the DPI.

Feels very well built overall.

Cons: The red led is pink/purple depending on how you look at it. The blue and green leds seem to light up under it so those could be changing the color.

The back and forward buttons are easy to press and feel kinda cheap so you may end up pressing them when you dont mean to.

These are minor and dont negatively effect the quality too much.

Other Thoughts: Looks and feels really nice. A nice alternative for other more expensive gaming mice.
