2 out of 5 eggsCheap is cheap

Pros: It's cheap,it has a large clip for clamping onto thicker screens. I like that the microphone uses the soundcard's mic-in port versus containing its own USB audio device i have to toggle my applications to use.

Cons: Very poor low lighting images. The drivers required to make it work run a number of background processes in Windows. I could not find any alternative drivers.

Other Thoughts: The title of this product is slightly misleading. Just like all the Chinese knockoffs advertize on certain auction sites "1.3MP" this is NEVER the case. Always always it's really 0.3 MP (640x480) At least here they clear that up.

3 out of 5 eggsworks, but the video quality is below-average

Pros: it does its basic job, and for it's price it is a good value.

Cons: The quality of the video is really not very good. Getting drivers from their website is also a bit much for, that don't make it very clear which you need.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Web Cam

Pros: Cheap; Does the job; Actually works better than my grandaughters on her laptop.

Cons: Clamp is designed to fit on a laptop. Barely fit on my desktop monitor. Getting som velcro to fix that with

Other Thoughts: My first webcam. Wasn't sure if I woud use it that much or not. Me and my grand daughters spend hours on it so I got my money's worh out of it. Nice to see them and they can see you. May get a better one latter on. We will see.

1 out of 5 eggsBad software

Pros: None that I can think of

Cons: Laptop wouldn't see mini disc; got drivers off website and installed them, but Vista couldn't find them. So I didn't even get to see how well or not it worked.

Other Thoughts: Guess you get what you pay for. I just bought a HP and a Microsoft webcam and Windows had the drivers for them without even putting in the install disk. Guess I should stick with a name brand.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Cam

Pros: Quality is pretty good. Frame rate is smooth as long as you have enough light in the room. Has quite a bit of adjustability as far as balance, gamma correction, exposure and the like go. Has a small library of goofy effects which can be fun at times.

Cons: Manual Focus can be a little hard to hit at times since you can't adjust it and remain at your target distance. You wont like the picture if you don't adjust the settings a little bit.

Other Thoughts: I'm astounded at the quality of this camera for the price. Definitely a great deal.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Price and usability - came with all the drivers i needed, installed easily, works fine.

Cons: Purchased for e-meeting, but it kept freezing up, i don't know if it was the camera or not.... but not recommended for that reason.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good camera

Pros: The quality is pretty good for 10 bucks. Make sure you focus it with the manual focus ring or it looks atrocious.

Cons: Only 640x480.

Other Thoughts: I got the drivers off their website and they work fine.
