Other Thoughts: the only reason this gets 4 out if 5 is because it appears the sniper button doesn't seem to work(probably some user error hehe) otherwise the look and feel of this mouse is great.

Pros: Plug and play if you don't want to use the software, works on computers that don't have it installed once Windows finds and installs the drivers
Software is relatively easy to figure out, offers quite a lot of customization
Three shift modes, offering triple the amount of potential stuff this mouse can do
Not gonna lie, love the sweet solid orange color

Cons: Mouse is VERY light, I've picked it up off the mousepad by accident not realizing it before, as well as having been lightly tossed to the ground MANY times from simply catching the cord on the edge of pants, corner of keyboard, cat's tail, etc.
The cord likes to kink itself a lot, and has tied itself in knots (somehow) a few times

Other Thoughts: I bought this mouse because I needed a second mouse for a second computer without having to swap every time I wanted to transfer files.
I still have the Logitech G9x mouse that was technically what this was supposed to be an upgrade from. Now, I'm use to the weight of the G9x, with all four of its 7 gram weights in it. This 600m is VERY light by comparison. My friends have commented that it almost feels like they're holding nothing.
This poor mouse has taken quite a bit of abuse (not as much as the G9x though), and I'm impressed with how well it holds up. I've lost count of the amount of times it's been accidentally tossed off my chair or grabbed by my cat's tail, or fallen off because I simply get up too fast and it rolls off the edge of my recliner.

The software is relatively easy to use, and offers up to three shift modes. I have discovered and become spoiled by full laziness due to this, as my first shift mode matches the fan color of my new computer (yellow), and behaves normally, and the sniper button works well. I have that mode's set to half the lowest DPI setting and it will crawl across the screen when held, excellent for precision movement, gaming or otherwise.
The second is a media mode (cyan light), where the scroll wheel pauses music, lowers/increases volume, and the back/forward buttons move tracks back and forth.
My third mode is mostly unused, but has a red light, maximum DPI, and the extra buttons are just programmed to left mouse. I have been very satisfied with these settings, and haven't had a reason to want to change them in quite a while, so my knowledge of the software might be a bit dated by a few months.
Overall though, I'm happy with my purchase. I might look into another Cougar mouse when my G9x suffers eventual failure, but I'll probably look for a heavier mouse for my preference.

Cons: Right mouse button won't hold when being pressed very annoying while playing games , will try rdm and get the same one . For that price it should've not have that issue.

Pros: So... I became a Cougar "fan" via their black and orange fans for an orange themed build I was putting together. I had owned one of the fans from years ago when I first saw them on Newegg. It is a fantastic line of products. When I found out they made mice I said hmm? I wanted to go all out with this orange theme and came across this. Much to my surprise after doing the homework on it, the reviewers were impressed. This mouse looks unique and feels practical; especially the placement of the sniper button. The LED is in unique spot and does support 16+ million colors. It also can be changed to pulsate mode.

The mouse is great for the major grip styles out there. I am a palm gripper and for how low profile this mouse is, it is incredibly comfortable. In fact, it is comfortable for the claw grip as well. It is incredibly accurate and the software interface is surprisingly good and painless. I have come from Logitech and Coolermaster mice. I am impressed by these guys. The attention to detail on this is wonderful. But on to one of my favorite things.

This thing is made out of the most velvety awesome feeling material. It doesn't stick to your hand, nor is it too slick to feel awkward. Everyone who sits and my desk says wow what is this thing made out of? It feels wonderful! If you have any doubts, just search around the reviews. Some say it performs even better than the Cougar 700m which is more of a R.A.T type design. This mouse also comes in black.

Cons: Takes some getting used to at first as with most mice. I found myself accidentally right clicking for the first day or two of use. I guess I have heavy fingers for this precise machinery?

Other Thoughts: Stop second guessing yourself and buy this thing. Nothing really looks like it and it feels great.

Other Thoughts: Choosing a mouse is not so easy, especially if you like to game. I have been through so many mice over the last year in pursuit of the perfect mouse. Deathadder, Sensei, Naos, Rat, 700M and now the 600M, we are almost there.
First of all I play mainly FPS, when not actually working and run my mice at 1800-2200dpi. The concept of 8200dpi mice is pretty daft considering few if any will play at these mouse speeds. With a 2560x1440 screen I find that setting my mouse at 1800-2200dpi and changing 'in game' mouse sensitivity is the ideal compromise.

I lift my mouse up to reposition, so this light mouse with non-slip surface is great, I have not yet dropped it. The mouse response is perfect, I do not feel any in game lag (more than I can say for the RAT or the Sensei), the mouse performed flawlessly. I can easily re-program all 8 buttons, including the sniper button using the great software (more than I can say for the Corsair M60). For my hands the 3 thumb buttons are in ideal positions with the sniper button under the other two and not in front (no stretching of the thumb required to reach it). It reminds me of my old MS Sidewinder mouse (too heavy for me).

I purchased the more advanced 700M a few weeks ago but gave this to my son as the upper thumb buttons were a little narrower than the 600M and harder to press and the scroll wheel of the 700M did not give me the 'notched' clicky feel I wanted when scrolling through weapon options in games like BF4.

I am a claw/fingertip gamer with medium sized hands and this mouse is close to perfect. If I was to moan about anything it would be that the cable is a little too stiff for my liking and that the rmb is a little too easy to click sometimes.
