3 out of 5 eggsfragile mouse

Pros: -fits nice in your hand
-high dps for gaming
-programmable macros
-can have set profiles for different games your playing
-on the fly dps change

Cons: -right click button switch broke after falling off my 3 foot desk
-scroll wheel bugs out when zooming in or out
-no color wheel in software only preset colors that CM put on
-mouse lazer skips alot if you have dust on your mousepad

Other Thoughts: wish the left/right switch buttons were not so fragile and had better software support. after my mouse fall off my desk i know how to use the right side macro buttons for my right click. the scroll wheel started bugging out after 9 months owning it does a double scroll when you only scroll once.

5 out of 5 eggsJust want I needed!

Pros: - The non slip grip isn't weird feeling like some other mice.
- The light is bright enough and not some weird off color.
- The speed is great!

Cons: - None!

Other Thoughts: - My wife has smaller hands (she's 4'11"), and this mouse is a bit on the larger size... but she's weird, and no eggs will be lost ;P

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: It's lasted over a 1 year being tossed / shaken as my laptop mouse.
It lights up and has switchable profiles

Cons: I keep hitting the side buttons because they're pretty large.

Other Thoughts: Though this is just my hand size, this mouse is a little too small for me. I use a Sentinel Advance Zero G as my desktop mouse, which is about to be replaced.

The cable is not sleeved, so some may or may not like that.

5 out of 5 eggsI Love This Mouse!!

Pros: The customization of this mouse is perfect. the ability of all the different button configurations you can do with the software is just what I was looking for. Despite complaints on the software from other reviews I found the recon software to be very user friendly for someone who wants to do basic customization but also ready for those who want to get into very specific functions with the mouse. It looks good, it is comfortable, good side button location, in depth color customization, and great dpi adjustment with convenient up and down middle keys for in game mouse sensitivity adjustment (really convenient for changing from automatic weapons to deep zoomed sniper rifles in FPS games). If I could I would give this mouse 6 eggs for performance, customization, user friendliness, and price without anyone paying me to say so!!

Cons: took me 3 days to get used to the click sensitivity but i was making a transition from a horrible 10$ mouse so really not a con just my personal experience.

side buttons can get in the way but are easily disabled if not wanted.

Other Thoughts: i use this mouse for MMO RPGs and FPS games.

Good configs for MMOs are to have the
top left side button set to what ever key is used for basic communication with NPcs and objects like the common "F" or "E" keys
Bottom left set to space for jumping(most convenient when using a game pad in you left hand instead of a keyboard due to lack of a good position for jump key on most game pads)
Top right key set to the inventory button for your game
and bottom right i usually set to the world map button or my quest log menu.

good FPS configs are to have the side buttons set to keys 1 2 3 and 4 mainly to switch through your weapons considering i have a hard time finding the keys on my board when using wasd and not being able to land on the right weapon using the scroll wheel.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse, Good price

Pros: Good weight. good sensitivity. Easy sensitivity adjustment. Good DPI adjustment button location.

Cons: Side buttons need to have a little more resistance, its too easy to push them without even feeling it.

Other Thoughts: CM needs to design this mouse in a longer version. my hand is average length, and the palm of my hand almost doesnt touch the mouse without my fingers hanging over the front. CM should make a long board model of each mouse they have and see what the consumer likes. I will bet longer versions of mice would sell better.

5 out of 5 eggsJust a great mouse

Pros: Has a bit of weight to it, which I personally love, great lagless sensor, neat looking design and LEDs, feels very solid

Cons: Ambidextrous design probably isn't for everyone. Button sensitivity takes a while to get used to- they're very sensitive, which is GOOD, but it takes some getting used to if you're coming from a bad mouse like me.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this mouse is great. All the cons I've listed are very minimal disturbances. I've seen alot of folks talk about how they hate the software that ships with the mouse, but I personally love it. It works, and gives me alot of ways to customize my mouse. Albeit, the DPI setting only lets you choose between 4 different DPI settings, but still good software. I also think it lacks the ability to change your profile IN GAME.

Regardless, this mouse is perfect for me, and I do a variety of things, not just FPS shooters with this computer.

My word of advice is to DISABLE the two buttons that sit near your pinky and ring finger, because those [for me] just got in the darn way.

5 out of 5 eggsTHE 1st Person Shooter Mouse!

Pros: TOTALLY customizable.
The Recon Software is great and EASY to use.
I can customize EVERY button's functions.
I can even make customized colors for the lights.
DPI settings are extremely customizable too.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I bought one and liked it so much that a month later , I bought another.
This is THE replacement for the old MS 1.1 5x button mouse (which I FINALLY retired).
BF3 and BF4 ? This mouse was made for those games (my opinion of course). But really , this is a great 1st person shooter mouse , and not very expensive.

1 out of 5 eggsDo Not Buy

Pros: Somewhat comfortable to use, nice when it works

Cons: Not worth it at all. The thing stopped working with alternate sensitivity after 6 months then died completely in 6 months.

Support is non-existent and you can't even claim the 2 year warranty which is non-existent since their support isn't helpful and they just sit around wasting your time months on end without actually helping anyone.

Other Thoughts: Overall Cooler Master is the worst company I have dealt with in terms of support. The non-existent support who do not help and just flat out refuse to even honor their lies about warranties makes this a company that can't be trusted.

I will never buy a Cooler Master product again. There are better companies or options out there and you're better off putting the money towards other products.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear customer,

We are sorry to hear you had trouble with our support. Would it be possible to give me a call directly to help recitfy this and get you a replacement? Please contact me via any of the contact options below.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Worth the Money

Pros: It's a great mouse when it works, the multi-buttons for sensitivity are great to quickly adjust between mouse speeds

Cons: The product is flawed and bad. Mine started breaking at around 6 months when the sensitivity died and only had one sensor speed. For this it then lasted until 9 months and stopped working altogether and won't work on any computer.

It would be fine if Cooler Master honored their 2 year warranty but they don't have any form of Support. Just automated emails and people who send old/outdated pdfs to tell you to do this or that to waste your time.

If you buy any Cooler Master product expecting to have a warranty, don't. Their support is terrible and they just drag out any help months and months on end and won't help you ever.

Overall I am not satisfied with Cooler Master and I do not recommend their products to anyone. If you're looking for a mouse and a flat cost with no warranty, then this isn't it as it won't even last you a year. At the cost you're better off tossing the money into another product from someone else with actual quality that will last.

Other Thoughts: I will never buy another Cooler Master product again based off of their support.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: -4000dpi
-very sturdy feeling
-solid buttons
-cool lighting effects
-a little heavier
-slides easily
-1.8meter usb cable
- Came within 4 days

Cons: -I can't think of any except that it could have had weights.
-also when it says 800-4000 dpi you can't do anything in between, you can only choose from : 800, 1600, 3200, and 4000 dpi.

Other Thoughts: Great mouse for the price. Its just as nice as a Logitech G500s but for a lot less!
