3 out of 5 eggsserved me well

Pros: great shape. Feels very comfortable in hand.
Avago 3310 lens. (This is a great lens. Look it up)
Great scroll wheel. Scroll wheel is very smooth and not too notchy
Can change the color of the wheel and logo with software.
Pre-programable settings where you can change your DPI on the fly.

Cons: A little heavy.
Buttons too soft for me. Sometimes if I'm resting my hand, the weight of my middle finger will set off the right mouse button.
Needs a mousepad. My g9x did not need a mouse pad, but when using this mouse, it would not track perfectly on my black wood table.
Sometimes, the mouse will slowly track across the screen if you don't have a mousepad, and your hand is off the mouse.

Other Thoughts: I switched from a Logitech g9x to the Avoir mouse after my g9x died. I thought I wouldn't be able to get used to the shape after using the large shell of the g9x for years. The Avoir fits and feels great in my hand.

Ultimately, I switched from this mouse because its buttons are too sensitive. I would often rest my hands on the mouse but accidentally click the RMB, which is bad in certain games if you want to not move.

I switched to a Zowie ZA11. The buttons are harder to press but still fine for League of Legends.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Worth $10.00

Pros: Looks really Nice has nicely placed buttons

Cons: The actual mechanics of the mouse are horrible. I have to work very slowly in order that the slow action of the buttons don't accidentally wipe out an entire folder worth of information. If you work online like I do, this mouse can be disaster.

I would think that a $10.00 mouse would be superior to this one.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this mouse unless you enjoy countless hours of frustration.

3 out of 5 eggsworked great for 1 year then began to exp. tracking 'jumps'

Pros: great sleek, simple design,

8200dpi

works great for gaming as well as CAD/M&E application purposes.

Cons: very expensive when i bought it (89.99). glad to see the price is down now :/

no easy color switch on mouse. i thought you could change colors for LEDs inside the mouse, no?

after a year or so the tracking on my perixx 10x12'' pad seems to be going haywire and the mouse will on a consistent occasion fidget and have large tracking "jumps" and jitters

Other Thoughts: I also have a INTUOS 3 drawing pad that i just installed the drivers again....maybe I might need to update all my drivers but i'm not confident that this will fix my tracking issues.

hopefully this is only temporary.

1 out of 5 eggsmost anticipated worst purchase of my life

Pros: It looked nice in the box until I took it out. Cool sticker comes with it.

Cons: My mouse has been on the fritz lately so I saved up a bit and usually i am a Logitech man but decided to give Mionix a try. Terrible idea. When i opened the Newegg box and took the mouse out it had no tape or external shrink wrap which seemed odd but who cares new mouse! Then whenI open the box up and take the mouse out, it has wear on the no-stick pads like someone had used it for a day and sent it back. I wanted to send it back right then but thought, why not plug it in and give it a go cuz the feet will get messed up when I use it anyways. Only problem was USB device not recognized says Windows. So, moral of the story is someone else bought this mouse, found out it didn't work and sent it back to Newegg. Newegg says hey! let's slap a new sticker on it and send it to this guy maybe he won't notice he paid $70 for something that doesn't work. And the kicker is now I have to pay shipping back to California(I'm in FL and package originally shipped from IL) and then wait 2-5 business days to get a refund. I have been ordering from Newegg for over 10 years now I know everyone makes mistakes but this kind of thing may have cost you a customer :(

Other Thoughts: I just wanted a nice shiny new mouse but instead I got someone else's returned item

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Ergonomics

Pros: Great ergonomics, great tracking with Corsair MM400 mouse pad.

Cons: Bad tracking on table or cheap mouse pad. Ok tracking on Mionix's own Propus 380 pad

Other Thoughts: So far I got 7 expensive mouse. Corsair M65, Logitech MX, Logitech M705, Mionix Naos 5000, Razor Starcraft II, Mionix Avior 8200, Logitech M600. These are all high quality mouse $50-$90 each. I am looking for a light click button. At work all day, your finger gets fatigue.
Of all those mouse, this is next to the best. Best is Razer Naga for ergonomic and light button. However, Razer does not have on board memory to store custom profile. You have to install their driver. That is a no go on a company computer at many corporations.
Great thing about this mouse is it is narrow. Your fingers can reach around and touch the table. That is very important for accuracy and feel for speed.
As for tracking, on these lazer mouse, you pretty much have to get a good mouse pad to take advantage of it. Get the Corsair MM400. Is smooth and tracks great. Even Mionix's own Propus 380 does not track as well as the Corsair. This along with MM400 is great for majority of users. I ended up with Logitech G600 because I want the numeric pad on the side.
