4 out of 5 eggsNice Moderately Price Wired Headphones

Pros: Very good sound from a sturdy set of headphones. They don't feel cheap and flimsy like many others that are less than enormous. The cord is extremely long and the sound quality is very good. If you want wired headphones that have a nice sturdy feel to them but are moderately priced you could do a lot worse.

Cons: A little tight on my head although I have a pretty average sized skull. That might not be a con though for a teenager or someone with a smaller sized head. Just seemed slightly smaller or tighter than "average." Wired which again isn't necessarily a "con" just pointing it out since so many headphones nowadays are wireless.

Other Thoughts: I picked these up on sale and don't remember what I paid, but feel like it was a bargain. They aren't as nice necessarily as some of the more well known brands, but if you want some sturdy, wired headphones that feel well built then these are pretty good.

2 out of 5 eggsScosche RH600BK

Pros: Excellent sound for the selling price. Partially metal/construction. Tough. Light. Tangle-free cord. Average comfort (semi-soft foam padding). Comes with a carrying bag. Great styling. Compact.

Cons: Non-detachable cord (considering MSRP). Uncomfortable after 60+ minutes of wear.

Other Thoughts: Left side stopped working after three months of casual use (no physical damage whatsoever--took them apart to see what the problem was and whether it could be remedied). Wouldn't be worth the money dealing with warranty.

I'd be afraid to buy them again, unless they were under $20. The headphones seemed to attract static electricity--on numerous occasions I'd experience static noise while wearing headphones and handling the headphone jack, but they werent even plugged in.

They did sound very good, however.

1 out of 5 eggsArrived quickly but not working

Pros: The packaging suggests that I've purchased a Lamborghini.

Cons: Left speaker doesn't produce sound.

Other Thoughts: I'm very angry, as this is the 3rd set of non functioning headphones I've purchased in a month.

3 out of 5 eggsmeh....

Pros: Well they look nice sitting on the desk. And they do sound pretty good for the price.

Cons: When they are on your head, you look like marvin the martian. The way they are designed makes it so they bulge out away from your whole head and it looks really weird... They also can be used in place of a clamp if you need to clamp a woodshop project or something, because they try to squeeze your brain out your nose when they are on.

Other Thoughts: why did they design them to be so tight? We with big heads need a little more give room to have headphones on that don't squish our heads.
I regret buying these... Don't make my mistake, spend a little more money and get a decent pair.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent headphones, but cable is too short

Pros: Good sound for the casual listener and gamer. Fits nicely on the head, ear padding is decent.

Cons: The cable is very short, only about 3ft long. I had to purchase a separate extension just so I can use these headphones while sitting at my desk. Keep this in mind if you have you're a traditional desktop user.

They don't completely cover the ear. After long periods of using them it can get a little uncomfortable.

Other Thoughts: I got these on sale for $24.99 shipped, which is a good price. Just make sure you buy an extension cord with it if you have your PC on the floor.

3 out of 5 eggsGood, but...

Pros: I really wanted a pair of noise-cancelling headphones and that is certainly what I got. I think the quality of sound and the fact that they do exactly what I wished makes these great.

Cons: I'm a college student, so I am in the library for hours upon hours at a time. However, I can't use these for longer than 2 hours before my ears start to hurt.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent value, esp when on sale

Pros: Rating is based on sound quality for the money. Got it on sale with free shipping.
First, let me state that I am an audiophile with 18 inch Velodyne DD-18 3,000 watt peak subwoofer ($5,000). I like clean, articulated, realistic bass.
These headphones had decent bass, meaning it had some measure of the characteristics I look for. There is a degree of muddiness and a little bloat, but these are in the $30 range. Also, I have heard some headphones that simply have way too much bass, especially the "one-note" bass where every bass note sounds like the same thump. So these have good bass (exceeding my expectation for the price).
The treble is there, but less than I am used to. I can use my ipod nano 4g to tip-up the treble and then it sounds more like I am used to, but in the end I prefer no EQ (no equalization), which makes listening to these less fatiguing, which is a really good thing when listening to headphones). I find that the slightly reduced treble allows me to turn up the volume a bit louder than usual, without causing ear-ringing (bad bad bad).

Comfort and build quality far exceed my expectation for the price. I would say these sound better than Beats, but then again, I don't like the bass bloat on Beats.

Cons: None, for the price. However, the reduced treble results in a slightly less detailed presentation. These are warmer sounding than neutral, meaning the musical notes will be fatter and have less impact than neutral. On the other hand, "cool-sounding" headphones tend to be hyper-detailed with thinner sound. While I like more detail than these phones have, at least the sound has full tone

Other Thoughts: Hard to beat for twice or 3x its price when on sale with free shipping.

I bought these for hiking, and I am nearly broke. Okay in a car too, blocks some ambient noise, which is a plus in the car. Don't know how wind affects it yet.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly Great sound

Pros: Fantastic sound quality
Sleek design
Appears to be of solid build quality

Cons: Better case would be nice

Other Thoughts: Got a pair of Scosche earbuds that surprised the heck out of me with the sound quality, so when these went on sale, I decided to give it a try. The sound quality is PHENOMENAL! Got these from Newegg on sale for $40 and compared to Beats Solo, the sound reproduction from these is way more accurate. I'm no audiophile(not sure what defines one) but I do appreciate great sound quality and these just make you really really enjoy your music, even off a phone. My wife, who usually doesn't care about sound quality, really wants a pair now after listening to a song on it and it got her dancing away. She commented that she never gets to listen to music like this, and it reminds her of how much she loves music. So I'll be looking for these to go back on sale again.
The memory foam pads are really nice. A bit stiff when I first got them out of the box, but after just a little while they are broken in and really really comfortable. I think I prefer the around the ear pads rather than these types that just sit on the ear, but not enough to deter me from getting these again. If you have to have the b on your headphones(like my kids cause it's all about the status) then get beats, but if you don't care and want great sound quality, get these and save yourself a bunch of money.
