5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse, especially for the price

Pros: Honestly, for the $15 I paid here on newegg for this mouse, it has been fantastic. I travel for work a lot, and like to game when I'm in the hotel at night on my laptop. I wanted a cheap alternative to my Logtiech G9X I use with my desktop which I love dearly.

This mouse does it all for me:
+Feels solid to me (don't know what the other reviews are talking about with saying it feels cheap)

+It has lasted me 2 years of being thrown around in a large briefcase with many other loose items, nothing has broken on it

+very good battery life, infact almost 1 whole year on 2 AAAs with every day use

+click effort is perfect, and makes a nice quality click feel and noise

+scroll wheel feels great, it takes just the right amount of effort to click and scrolls have a nice thick feeling, not loose or rickety feeling.

+the tracking is simply spot on, it tracks just as good as my G9X does, and I like the adjustable DPI button on the mouse which is located in an area where you can't accidently press it

+rubber texture feels nice and prevents slippage after eating greasy snacks while using it

+wireless dongle is small and fits inside the mouse for traveling

Cons: While the mouse has a solid feel to it, it does have some downfalls:

-side buttons are EXTREMELY easy to press and often are pressed without the intent of pressing them. Most of the time, this is not a problem because of the location of the side buttons, but if you hold the mouse in a slightly awkward position, you'll find yourself browing back and forward in webpages when you did not want to.

-the usb dongle which fits inside the mouse for traveling can sometimes become stuck inside the mouse and require more effort than I expected to remove it again.

Other Thoughts: I love this mouse, and I have actually ordered another for my work computer because it is quite comfortable to use for long periods of time.

3 out of 5 eggsOverrated

Pros: Price: Lowest price you'll find for a decent wireless mouse

Functionality: It does the job as advertised

5-Button: Nice features for such an inexpensive mouse

Easy Install: Plugged right in and worked (Win7/x64)

Cons: Feels Cheap: hard to describe, but you know it when you feel it. It's light and flimsy, the button clicks aren't solid.

Battery Compartment: Had to wedge something in the compartment to hold the batteries from moving around.

Other Thoughts: Maybe my expectations are a little high, but with all the great reviews I expected a better product for $20. Technically it does everything it says it will, but overall feels like a shoddy product, like one decent drop and it would shatter into a pieces.

My biggest beef is the batteries, while I was impressed it came with batteries, few products do these days. However they're AAA's which isn't standard for our office, but I digress. The battery area was so poorly designed, most batteries fit snugly and securely, this compartment was so wide open and loose.

FINAL VERDICT: I would pay $15 for this mouse, but I expected a little more for $20.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well, fits nicely

Cons: DEAD within a month...that says it all

Other Thoughts: Had this mouse for about a month, worked great while it lasted...unfortunately just today it broke, by that I mean one of the springs attached to the contact thing which the battery goes into just fell off and not only that, a puff of smoke came out when I put the battery in? It's a wireless mouse, I didn't even realize that could happen...needless to say, don't waste your money

2 out of 5 eggsFrictionful scrolling

Pros: Nice design.

Cons: Anyone thinking that the mouse wheel will do anything remotely related to the kind of scrolling that a Logitech Performance MX mouse does, you would be sorely mistaken. The action is nice, but it is nothing in the way of frictionless (Clever Orange Marketeers).

Other Thoughts: The quality is what it should be for a $16 mouse. That said, it looks better than it actually feels. Would've given it another star if I didn't feel like I was manipulated by the "frictionless" mouse wheel marketing.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid.

Pros: USB receiver has very low profile and does not interfere with other plugged-in USB cords/devices; extra buttons provide increased functionality. Reasonably small, but not overly so.

Cons: On/off state controlled by switch on bottom of mouse, but does not respond to whether or not the receiver is docked in the mouse (like other mice). Sensitivity seemed initially low.

3 out of 5 eggsOk but squeaky

Pros: Palm sized mouse with a forward and backwards button for internet use or gaming use. Overall a decent mouse.

Cons: Only con is that the right mouse button squeaks whenever clicked and it gets very annoying very fast.

4 out of 5 eggsReliable

Pros: Works great, comfortable design, has worked for over 6 months on computer.

Cons: Slightly cheap build quality, occasionally stutters, but not much of a problem. Took a little bit of time to get used to, but this is probably just me since I had been using a touchpad until now.

Other Thoughts: Recommended for a tight budget. Very reliable and nice, if slightly "plasticy."

5 out of 5 eggsKnit Pick, Knit Pick, Knit Pick!

Pros: For a wireless mouse at this price point, I am very satisfied with it. I haven't found any of the things that other reviewers have pointed out. What do they expect from a 20 dollar mouse? Go and buy one of the 70 dollar mice out there. I have no problem with this mouse and I use it all day every day and I have sold these to my customers and they like them too.

Cons: Too many people don't know that you get what you pay for and sometimes you get more than you pay for.

Other Thoughts: I'm buying two more of these when I finish this review.
