5 out of 5 eggsGreat for some.

Pros: Love this mouse. Problems that arise come from not plugging it into a high power usb connection. Many programmable buttons and multiple gaming profiles available for free download on madcatz site. Very logical and havent went a day without using it.

Cons: Requires a high power usb. Otherwise buttons wont work and problems with manual clicking on pages and auto pressing the back button. Please plug into a high power usb

Other Thoughts: Love it like a pet

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the cost...

Pros: Can customize to fit your hand, alot of config options
High DPI
Comes with two batteries, mine last most of the day gaming. Quick to change, takes seconds.

Cons: Movement may be jumpy, had to plug into USB 2.0 to correct.
Stopped tracking intermittently after 3 months. Unacceptable for 160.00 dollars.

Other Thoughts: Have to send it back for warranty and really wanted to buy another in the interim, can't bring myself to do it, going another brand. All Mad Catz mice are getting terrible reviews for dependability and customer service.

2 out of 5 eggsShould be "Makes you MAD Catz"

Pros: Great looking, fun to look at like a novelty.
Neat scroll speed button.

Cons: BATTERY! They give you two, you will use them both every few hours. NO JOKE, the battery life is less than a day, even without constant use. its a royal PITA.

Also, at times you have to unplug the USB and reinsert the USB to get the mouse to work, especially if it goes to sleep, or the battery dies (which is always).

Lack of a decent Battery meter, but it will flash some leds which usually represent scroll speed, a few minutes before going dead.

You have to unclip the palm rest to swap batteries, its awkward to hold while your replacing the battery, causing random clicks to go everywhere, which if you are trying to be change before it goes dead, can cause woe.

Other Thoughts: I previously used a Logitech, I now know what "Jaded" means. This mouse was expensive and with that cost I would expect a few things, not having to unplug it to get it to work ever. Battery life of 1 week would be HUGE for this thing, I don't remember exactly how long my fancy Logitech went on batteries, because it never EVER was an issue. There software is interesting, you put a lot of effort into a "profile" which never seems to be loaded right or work absent of your efforts to make sure its the active profile. Fix the software and the battery consumption and I'd be content, it still have fewer features then a good logitech, but it does have good button feels.

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible dont buy!

Pros: Nothing at all this is horrible.

Cons: This piece of bull spit mouse litterally has a 3 hour battery life. You will be constantly switching out the extra battery it came with and you will end up getting very frustrated if you are even a moderate gamer. This product is probably the worst wireless mouse I ever had, it is not smooth for being 6,400 DPI. My old microsoft mouse of 2,400 DPI is much smoother, I accidentally right click a ton with this mouse somehow and never had any issues with any other mouse in mylife. Returning this right now because its complete garbage, get a wired version.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's a mouse

Pros: Great , fast, customizable mouse with many great gaming configurations.

Cons: Battery dies fats with no warning, then you ussually have to unplug it to get it to re-sink

Other Thoughts: if you can, get the corded version

2 out of 5 eggsSketchy in the long term

Pros: Excellent customization. Very accurate and virtually lag free. Nice ergonomics, a very comfortable mouse.

Cons: Battery life is atrocious, although the backup battery is fully charged by the time you need to change it. After a year of ownership, it has developed a mind of its own. It randomly changes DPI settings, activates sniper mode, and the cursor will jump wildly with virtually no input. I have had to set all of the DPI options to the same setting and have set the sniper button to do nothing... and it STILL acts possessed.

Other Thoughts: With how much this mouse cost, I am extremely disappointed with it.
I was leery of it since I was a victim of MadCatz back when they were butchering Nintendo and Play Station controllers. I tried out the product at a retail store, and looked at my friends R.A.T. 7 before buying this, so I took the plunge. Other than battery life, I was happy with this mouse, for quite some time.
I have since gone back to my previous mouse, a Logitech Revolution MX.

1 out of 5 eggsReally bad mouse

Pros: Wireless with no lag, very comfy.

Cons: You have to change the battery very often about avery 3 hours not the so called 7. Sometimes the batterys will not fit but you would have to really pull on the batter to get it out of the charger or mouse. The mouse after about 5 or 6 mouths will start to go crazy. Sometimes the dpi will drop by around 1000 then go back up. If you want a mouse that is consistant then do not get this mouse. The blinking red lights are also ver distracting as well they should just change the color of the lights instead.

Other Thoughts: I still like my mouse but it is very annoying when it loves to do its own thing. I have also already sent it in once for this issue and I am going to be sending it in again.

1 out of 5 eggsnot a good mouse

Pros: customization in a lot of cool ways

Cons: clicks cause the cursor to move due to the base of the mouse being just slightly wobbly. this is the case with or without the side rests. also could be due to the sensor being too high off the surface
driver and config software is awful. the mouse was more reliable without them - post install, clicks to the taskbar would intermittently not pass through

inability to hold right mouse and click left mouse. may not effect all gamers but if you ever use both buttons at the same time you might be disappointed

Other Thoughts: whether trying to click a link or land a shot, its beyond frustrating to have the cursor move off target as a result of the click
not being able to hold rmb and click lmb was the deal breaker

3 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse but not to be trusted

Pros: Can customize every aspect. I think's alive.

Cons: Requires you to cut off your fingers and feed them to it as human sacrificial to feed it power supply

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't trust this mouse, its really a great mouse in terms of use, but sometimes I would wake up in the middle of the night and this mouse would be standing over me watching me sleep. Be careful because this mouse can be hard to please and requires much worship.
