1 out of 5 eggsBroken after 3 months

Pros: great stick when it works.

Cons: They don't honor their warranty. It broke after 3 months. All three axes ceased functioning. I've emailed their technical support team and didn't get a response. Furthermore the base could be a bit heavier as the base tips and slides when in use and it also has an irritatingly bright blue LED.

2 out of 5 eggsNot very good

Pros: Suitable for both the right and left hand. So if your left handed, or just want to practice your left handed flight(which pilots in real life must), than its good for that.

Generally its still usable.

Cons: The base is too light weight so sometimes I just pull the stick off the desk while using it.

That blue light is unbelievably annoying, I usually position my stick in front of the monitor because of the lack of space on my desk, I can't do that anymore with out that light glaring off the monitor.

Button layout is not very comfortable, especially button 2 below the POV controller, you really gotta bend your thumb to use it

You gotta poke the tip of your thumb into the POV controller to us it effectively, its not like those rounded pyramid-like buttons that you can rest the bottom of your thumb on.

You can't adjust the sensitivity of the stick, This is my biggest gripe with this controller.

Pinkie button on the stick is worthless, since the base is so light weight you have to grip the controller, and since you have to grip it you will always be accidentally pressing it. You might as well keep that button unbound.

Other Thoughts: I had a Thrust Master Stick X before this and I was a lot more satisfied with it, a shame it broke after 2 years of faithful service.

5 out of 5 eggsvery good flight stick

Pros: accurate control flight stick

Cons: no force feedback
don't need that anyway

Other Thoughts: best flight stick for the price, got mine off of amazono.
If your a budget minded shopper and price is a problem, then
get this. It works with dosbox games, fsx, mame, and then get the driver off of mad catz website and be happy.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap, nice, but...

Pros: This joystick competes with the Logitech Extreme 3d pro. No matter what doo dads and other items a joystick has, the ultimate test of a joystick is how precise it is. This joystick is slightly better the the 3d pro I had in that respect. The main thing I need in a joystick is that no movement takes place in that tiny zone where there is no spring tension.

Cons: 3d pro is laid out better, is ergnomically superior and does not have the annoying blue light in it. This stick has all the feel of cheap offshore construction and design. Were it not for the fact that this joystick did not have the slop in it the 3d pro did, I would be using the 3d pro instead

And that freaking annoying blue light in the top of the handle which serves absolutely no purpose other than to visually annoy me. I would have given this stick 4 eggs were it not for that
annoying, fricking blue light which serves no purpose other than to visually annoy you

Yes, I put that in this review twice. I was able to cover the light up, but they need to save 17 cents and remove it. Put the extra money into moving buttons to the base
