4 out of 5 eggsOwner's Manual

Pros: Great little Mouse!

Cons: Some of your purchasers might be elderly and not so "computer-smart". So, you need a thorough, comprehensive owner's manual that explains the functions of ALL THE BUTTONS on this Mouse to include the small button on top, just behind the wheel, and the two buttons on the left side with the forward and reverse arrow on each.

4 out of 5 eggsNo Issues

Pros: Small and compact w/ a storage spot for the transmitter. I have had no issues with the mouse. Purchased as part of my repair kit. PnP worked flawlessly with Windows 8.1 and other Windows OS's...

Cons: None as of yet.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks on Linux with a Custom Kernel

Pros: It works with few issues on an OS with no official support, gets about 17 days battery life under heavy use with the stock AAA batteries. Considering most mice run through a 4 pack of AA within a week with me, I'm actually quite impressed with it.

Cons: Some Linux systems need to use a custom kernel to make it work correctly (buttons 4 and 5) this is a kernel limitation, not an Xorg limitation. Just enable the PS/2 driver and it works (I know it's USB, but my laptop detects it as a PS/2 mouse). The drivers are badly broken on Windows, I honestly think it's the reason for all the complaints.

May cause driver conflicts in Linux with Intel HD Graphics 4000 on some systems with Secure boot enabled, disabling it fixes this on my laptop. I think this is a Dell specific issue based on my kernel debug output on several different systems.

Other Thoughts: I've been using Linux since May 2006 and this is the first time I've encountered a mouse that needed a custom kernel on my laptop. As I already use a custom kernel, I just switched on PS/2 support and rebuilt the kernel and it worked. Linux users out there may wish to try that before sending it back.

It also didn't like my laptop cart, so I'm using a piece of cardboard from my old router's box as a mouse pad.

Even though I'm a Linux kernel hacker and fix quite a few computers, I still didn't give myself beyond a somewhat high knowledge rating because other people out there know more than I do about tech.

2 out of 5 eggsYou get what you paid for

Pros: Nice feel to it, good look, and good functionality while it worked

Cons: Worked the first night, died the next day, did troubleshooting on it for a long while until I realized I'm not the only one with this problem. I've heard of folks who had it longer, but most folks seem to have this mouse for a few days tops before it breaks down.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap Mouse

Pros: its cheap

Cons: This mouse is extremely frustrating to use. I rma it after a week. The mouse doesn't move smoothly, and sometimes it seemed to have a mind of its own.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Looking, Great Features, Gross Bug.

Pros: It's potentially gamer, lots of buttons, nice look, 2 DPI modes, an off button, wireless counts, but...

Cons: This mouse has a crazy, cursor jumping and jittering on screen all by itself kind of bug. The same issue that Locke posted in his review...

Other Thoughts: Consider other people's product reviews/experiences before buying, as that's what I should have done. (I totally ignored Locke's experience by mistake)

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't Work

Pros: None

Cons: At most this device has worked for 5 minutes. Win7 won't recognize it and it won't update driver of any type. I have visited GearHead website says driver should automatically install but it doesn't. Very frustrating.

2 out of 5 eggsVery disap"point"ed

Pros: Cool looking, compact.
Five buttons.

Cons: This is the touchiest, most annoying mouse I've ever used in my life. Mousepad or no mousepad, this mouse just seems like it "forgets to move" every few seconds for a split second. Therefore no matter how much you slow the mouse cursor down, or adjust the sensitivity in games, you lose your cursor. The darn thing is all over the place. TERRIBLE for FPS. I should have went with Logitech, ugh.

Other Thoughts: Wish I could get a full refund. One of my first bad reviews for a product I've ordered from this site for almost 7 years. I'm pretty easy to please.

5 out of 5 eggs:)

Pros: Instantaneous recognition on both Windwos 7 Ultimate and XP Pro SP3. Flawless operation and it's a no brainer for use. Mouse sensitivity is very exact and FAST!!!!!

Cons: A little "petite" but I have the hands the size of gorilla and NP here!

Other Thoughts: This is a must buy for the wireless mouse enthusiast!

4 out of 5 eggsNice red collor and shape

Pros: Nice shape and collor, five buttons, tilt wheel, switch off button as an extra feature.I love to change speeds from the mouse button without having to access pc settings.Overall a good and reliable item.

Cons: every few minutes the pointer freeze,in the same time, left click button freeze too,the reason unknown,i've replaced the batteries, replaced the mouse pad too with the same results, does not bother me that much, but i had to take an egg for it.

Other Thoughts: kind of small for my hand,it is just a bit bigger than a mini mouse but maybe my hands are bigger than usual.
