Cons: The Bose Headphones are made mostly of cheap plastic and I had to send them back on two different occassions to have Bose fix them. The service was really poor as well. It took them a whole two months to replace a plastic piece that the ajustment silder "plastic" that retains the fit of the headphones. I finally gave up sending them back and taped it in place. I am a user and injoy hi fidelity music. I am very careful with my equiptment and these things were breaking as I was putting them on to my head.
Other Thoughts: I finally threw out the Bose. Then did a lot of reasearch and bought a set of Grado Labs SR60 over the ear and they sound envery bit as good as the Bose and cost half as much. Not only that they are built to last unless you hook them to an inferior amp and blow them because of clipping. I highly recomend the Grado SR60 and so dose consumer reports and several other consumer info sites I visted.

Pros: Very reasonable set of headphones. Comfort is second to none; the around-ear design feels phenomenal, and is worth the price alone. There is a very nice foam pad that lets the phones rest on your head. Awesome, though it musses my hair. Ha.
Sound quality is very decent, though not perfect (which is a given, the things cost 130 bucks).
Cons: Seems like they have slightly flimsy construction. I could forsee myself breaking these beauties if I brought them along with my ipod. As such they are kept with my computer, I wouldn't take these things on a trip, unless it was with my laptop or something.
Other Thoughts: You won't go wrong with these headphones. They come with a 1/4 inch adapter and a nice carrying case.

Pros: Fantastic audio quality. At this price point I don't think they can be beaten. I've run several tests on these babies and they respond all the way down to 5Hz (of course you can't hear that low, but you can feel it). Crystal clear, crisp highs, powerful mids, and head-rumbling lows, these are all you need for the budget audiophile. Hear nuances you've never heard in your music before!
Cons: Can fit awkwardly for some. Looks kinda goofy in public. Not easy to transport.
Other Thoughts: Listening to these right now on 320kbps audio. After more than two years, these still are faithfully reproducing every single sound.

Great Sound, Poor Manufacturing

Pros: Incredible sound. Sounds better than an average 5.1 system. Great Great sound.
Cons: Terrible construction. Mine are broken. My girlfriends are starting to break. Where the wire attaches to the ear, it starts to come out and tear. This happened on mine fatally, and it is happening on my girlfriends in the same spot. Normally i would be able to fix something like this, but after i exposed the wires, you can really splice them back together. I spend 130.00 to have these badboys and they only lasted like a year. Thats like paying an 11 dollar a month renting fee.
Other Thoughts: I think you can take them in and get 80 dollars store cred. Maybe i will do this and go get another pair and just be careful with them. I love the sound. it sounds so great. Im gonna get these or another more expensive pair with a break-away cable by the earphones.
Actually i think they revised this material on these so it doesn't do what mine did.

Excellent headphones

Pros: Very high-quality headphones, as is expected from Bose. I have used these headphones on daily basis for over a year and have not noticed any detioration in the quality of sound or the durability of the headset in that period of time. I would say I wear these headphones an average of 3 hours a day and regularly wear them on trips and outside the house. I would highly recommend.
