The cord length is sufficient to reach my hip (where I keep my mp3 player) without being too long. Collapsability is extremely convenient. Cons: Having volume control on the cord is never a good idea as it can damage the wires more quickly. In my case, the wiring became exposed after only a few months of regular use; within two weeks of that, the headphones no longer worked on one side. Other Thoughts: I have yet to see the warranty specifics (sometimes warranties are void if the damage is apparent). The design is for the band to go over your head, though if you're wearing a hat or have hair anxieties, it works reasonably well with the band going behind your neck.
