Ink adds permanence. It forces the visual representation of an idea, concept, ideal or experience, and tangibly commemorates it. Like a tattoo, graffiti, or stretch marks. Until you're really ready to commit, go with the INK'D ear buds. Big sound, little price, no visible scarring.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very durable for headphones. Had my first pair for nearly three years before they got put through the washer and two hours in the dryer on high and still worked, albeit at reduced quality. Got a new pair anyway and they're going strong at two years and a bit.

While they don't have the range of some of the newer headphones at only 20-20k they feel very responsive and the difference in quality between these and 5-25k is probably only noticeable to true audiophiles that will be wiling to spend more on their equipment. Best value I've found in headphones ever.

Cons: The silicone tips are a little hard to clean, would have liked a foam option as well.

Other Thoughts: I primarily use a Sansa mp3 player and have never noticed sub-par performance from these earbuds in either it or an iPod.

1 out of 5 eggsNo bass

Pros: Nice looks, extra ear cushioners.

Cons: Absolutely no bass response, at least on my Sansa MP3 player.

1 out of 5 eggsOverhyped garbage in a pretty wrapper.

Pros: Look cool, long cable.

Cons: Everything else. Tons of cable noise in your head whenever you move, cable feels very low quality, sound is very mediocre for canal style. The first day I used them the cable ripped right out of the jack the first time it caught on something. Jack didn't even come out of my DroidX and the pull wasn't at an odd angle.

Other Thoughts: I've owned many pairs of canal style headphones and usually wipe them out from nonstop use. These are the first to die from physical failures. Looking at the wires its obvious they are only held in by the connection, not glued to the rubber casing of the jack. What is this? 1984? Perfect example of style over quality as these are lower quality than the $5 chinese ones my GF got from eb*y.

5 out of 5 eggsBright and loud

Pros: So colorful it may prove hard to lose, even with it's small size. Has a pretty good range of sound between lows and highs, decent amount of bass for being ear buds. The rubber grip makes a wonderful connection and fits snugly (comes with three different sizes to fit most people). By fitting in such a snug and comfortable way, it blocks a good deal of sound that my last few pairs of traditional ear buds let in.

Cons: The front jack on my computer refuses to play through both buds so stereo becomes mono, no problem with any other device though.

Other Thoughts: I've always loved Skullcandy products so I might be a little biased.
