5 out of 5 eggsThis thing is great and cheap.

Pros: Price, feel, quality, weight adjustable, DPI on-the-fly adjustable

Cons: Cord be a tad longer...maybe round it off to 7ft instead of the 6.6ft it is now. The buttons are slightly too far forward for me.

Other Thoughts: For this price you will NOT find a better mouse. If you're on a budget and need a nice 7 button gaming mouse then buy this one if you can find one.

5 out of 5 eggsKILLER mouse!!!

Pros: Everything about this mouse is fantastic.

i know this product is discontinued, however this review merits a posting for the over one year ownership factor.

The mouse comes with replacement skid pads for the bottom of the mouse. there is one skid pad in each of the 4 corners AND there is a double sized pad under the front wire area on the bottom as well. these pads are VERY slick (GREAT for gaming man!) but the thing I wanted to mention was I just replaced the pads for the first time since 1/26/2012 (1 year, 1 month, and 2 weeks later)
WOW!!! I have a brand new mouse again!!! - but guess WHAT??!! the mouse came with TWO replacement sets of pads!!!

Cons: .

Other Thoughts: I believe the mouse will outlast the skid pads supplied by TekRepublic.

and i WILL be buying from TekRepublic however I can. Just wish Newegg still sold it. I would buy 3 more in a flat New York second man.

KILLER mouse.

Pros: Works great, has adjustable speeds and special buttons if you like that kind of stuff. I just wanted it for a great mouse that wasn't too expensive.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap $18. Looks good. Good build quality and materials. Fancy box.

Cons: Intermittent tracking problem. Will get jittery sometimes during slow precision movements like when I'm trying to aim in game or trace along an outline. It will sometimes stutter and not go in the direction I'm pushing but stray off or act like it's physically caught against something even though it isn't. It's too big and oddly shaped. Accidentally click the buttons with the undersides of my knuckles instead of fingertips.

Other Thoughts: My problems may be caused by the sensitive laser not liking a mouse pad but I'm not sure. I'm thinking of switching back to an LED mouse.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Plenty of buttons, big, adjustable weight, great dpi imo, cool that you can change the dpi so quick

Cons: As a 6 foot tall guy, my hands are decent sized and I find that the way I hold the mouse (back of palm resting on desk) makes it hard to get to the side buttons, especially the furthest one up.

SOFTWARE WONT WORK WITH WINDOWS 8! So don't bother. The software won't let you change any mappings (the dpi changing still works though), just gives errors all day long. Support won't respond, they don't care I guess.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse!

Pros: The mouse feels very high quality. I picked it up for 19.99 while it was on sale not expecting much. I am very picky about my mouse's scroll wheel. My previous mouse had a smooth scroll which I found not helpful and annoying. I was very pleased with this mouse's scroll wheel.

The shape of the mouse is also very nice. My hand seems to fit on it just right. The grip on the left side is also very nice.

The mouse comes with a driver disc with a "mouse-editor" on it. It has some basic features to configure the buttons on the mouse. I was pleased to find a macro-manager within the mouse-editor. I had some fun making some mouse macros with the program and am sure there are plenty of useful things the macro manager can be used for.

The mouse does not feel like it is made out of cheap light plastic. My old mouse would creak when I pressed the left button. This mouse feels very sturdy. The plastic has a lot of texture and isn't plain. There is a very nice rubber grip on the left side of the mouse.

One other very nice surprise that came with the mouse is the customizable weight. One the bottom of the mouse is a compartment with a ring fixed with weight. You can completely remove all of the additional eight or adjust it to your liking. Personally the feel of the mouse with all of the weight in it is my favorite. The weight definitely makes the mouse feel more sturdy.

Cons: Hmm, took me a while to come up with a con, so that's a plus, right?

Anyways, the position of one of the buttons makes it a little tough to press without moving the cursor slightly. Not a huge deal, but if you set up the button for a certain action it could be messed up if the cursor moves.

Other Thoughts: I pretty much got this mouse because my local office supply store's mice all had that smooth scrolling feature, were out of my price range, were made out of cheap plastic or some combination of the three.

This mouse exceeded my expectations in every aspect, I am very pleased with my purchase.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I really enjoy this mouse. I didn't expect it to be as well built as it is for the price. Tracks VERY smooth and the adjustable weight system is a huge bonus. Doesn't "stick" on micro movements, just glides. pixel level accuracy. .

Most buttons can be configured to run macros. and features a very easy to use scripting

The snipping function works great aswell.

Cons: The provided software defaults the two side buttons to forward and back. Which games won't recognize. Make sure you set the back and forward to buttons 4 and 5, that way you'll retain the browser functionality and can set them as keybinds in your game. Not a con really, just a heads up.

The dpi button, while configurable, cannot be changed to a 6th button. No big deal, but I never use it.

The button between scroll and left click is slightly awkward to get to, but is nice to keybind to an emergency function.

As far as I can tell you cant have the mouse software load custom profiles based on the application you're in. That would have been very useful.

Finally the texture of the mouse is kind of odd, it makes the mouse feel a little dirty and does a great job of actually getting dirty.

Other Thoughts: All and all extremely happy. The cons are minor and nothing you can't really work around. If you're looking for a best bang for the buck gaming mouse you just found it.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid this one..

Pros: Worked well to begin with, bought it on sale so it was super cheap.

Cons: I guess its true you get what you pay for. I had been looking for a decent mouse that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg so I picked this one up off a sale a little over a month ago. At the beginning it was fine. Now it randomly seems to have tracking issues. Randomly the pointer will just start tripping out and you can't move it. Then it usually clears up and works fine. Unfortunately it seems to be happening more frequently and that is kind of a killer when you're trying to play games. I assume it will completely die within the next month. Not sure if I got a bad one or if it is a common issue but based on my experience I wouldn't buy one of these again.

5 out of 5 eggsBig Mouse

Pros: Smooth tracking, button and wheel feel. Adjustable weight. Nice grain texture.

Cons: None that are objective.

Other Thoughts: Mice are very subjective to each individual. This one functions great. Smooth and no to much pressure needed for buttons and wheel. Only issue for me is its size. It is a big mouse, similar to a full size Microsoft Explorer. You wont be dragging your wrist on the desk with this one.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy

Pros: -$15
-Spilled soda on it and it still works good as new, didn't even stick after a week of moderate use.
-Can change the little dots color
-fits my hand nicely

Cons: -Wish it looked cooler but what can you expect from such an inexpensive mouse

Other Thoughts: Overall happy with the purchase, replaced my sentinel zero G which broke after a few months even though it was babied
