diAMIX lens material - a custom blended proprietary polymer, which beats out polycarbonate on the toughness scale and rivals the undisputed optics of ground glass.

i-FI lens coatings - anti-glare coatings that filter out harsh artificial reflected light.

iONIK lens tint - Specially formulated tints condition and shift the color spectrum to provide superior contrast, detail and resolution.

Frame Design - built for visual endurance, GUNNAR frame systems are engineered for optimal weight, comfort and durability.

4 out of 5 eggsThey work well

Pros: They work well after long periods of time looking at high brightness displays.
They are comfortable.
Extremely light weight.

Cons: Sometimes I can see my eyes because they are a little too reflective on the inside, but it's not too bad.

Other Thoughts: My eyes don't get bloodshot and I don't usually get headaches after working on the computer for long hours

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: They do what they claim (less dry eyes, remove blue light, etc.)

Cons: Glass smudges very easy. I'm not sold on the design of this particular model. Also, with the yellow lenses, you will look super nerdy.

Other Thoughts: If I did it all over again, I probably should have went to a local store to try out a few models to get a feel for how they looked on my face.

3 out of 5 eggsNot what I expected for $79

Pros: They reduce glare. Fairly comfortable fit (feeling).

Subtle magnifying effect, likely less than a quarter diopter. -- This is intended, and is to reduce fatigue on close up work, not for hyperopia.

Cons: I don't mind spending a reasonable amount of money, or even a little excess if the product does the job. Most of the time, newegg offers quality items -- I'm overly satisfied with 99% of my picks on this site.

This is not one of them.

For ~$80 - I expected more.

First, the packaging was excellent, and in retrospect nicer than the product.

These are little more than very minor reading glasses with a yellow ting.

1) These things smudge worse than any glasses or sunglasses I've ever seen in my life.

2) They site so close to your eyes , my eye balls fog them up. (The closeness doesn't bother me other than visibly seeing them fog for no apparent reason.)

3) For me.. they are framed way too high on the face. I still have enough area to see through them as intended, but the frames sit up well into the 'brow' region.. the design is not ergonomic in this way. This would be a problem outside.

4) Not recommended for the money, worth $10-15 at best.

Other Thoughts: Again, I'm generally more than fair with reviews here on Newegg.. giving mostly rave reviews.

For those looking for something to ease your viewing for long term computer use, or to 'enhance' -- don't spend the money on these. Find another brand, etc that have more reviews and you are certain about. These just aren't worth the money, not by a long shot.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: After owning these for about 8 months now, I can safely say that these are extremely good for working long hours in front of a screen. Whatever they do, they do it well. I someone recommended that you don't wear them around, and I would agree. Not needing regular glasses they can be slightly disorienting when not in front of the screen. The cut down on eye strain, glare, and make working on the computer for hours a day much less painful.

Cons: Not many.. I suppose if I wanted to nitpick they're highly susceptible to oil from fingers, and considering I forget I'm wearing em half the time I go to scratch my eyes and boom. Fuzzy smudges.
