5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly Fantastic Headphones Especially @ $80

Pros: Excellent sound quality for the price, substantial Bluetooth range, perfectly comfortable for those with medium-to-smaller-sized ears, full range of remote keys on 'phones, alleviating the need to physically touch the source device for basic functions (Next/Previous Track, FF/RW, pause, volume up/down).

Cons: Requires Mini-USB charger to recharge, which is getting quite rare nowadays. Wireless/ Bluetooth battery life only a few hours (usually enough for home use but be careful on vacation or otherwise long trips away from a power source to recharge -- comes with 1/8-1/8 inch cable to alleviate need for Bluetooth. Remember to bring this cord if you want to keep using them for many hours of contiguous time.

Other Thoughts: I've had these headphones for 19 months and have used them almost every day since. I own (high-end) corded, in-ear, sports headphones, sweat proof, wrap-around-the-back-of-the-head Bluetooth headphones, a pair of $300+ Bose noise-cancelling headphones, and at least a few others, all of which work. But I keep coming back to these headphones for their simplicity, feature-completeness, and most of all sound quality. If they ever (Big Guy forbid) broke (probably from me stepping on or otherwise crushing them) or they be me lost or stolen, I'd buy another pair in a heartbeat. Nothing I've seen or used meets the quality of these headphones, especially at the $80 price point. Honestly if I initially had to pay the retail price of $150 or whatever it is, I would have probably looked around some more. But at that price it's absolutely a no-brainer. These are the best headphones available at that price point. Hands-down. Don't hesitate: if you meet the criteria I specify (re:ear-size) your search is over. These are it.

4 out of 5 eggsLove these headphones

Pros: 1. Very good sound quality
2. Very Long charge time, I use these regularly and can go a few weeks without charging them.
3. Comes with an aux cable and has the option to be wired if needed but then you loose all the Bluetooth features
4. I can skip tracks, pause songs, and control the volume without having to touch my phone or media device.

Cons: Only one con and that is how the power button functions. To turn these on and off you have to hold the power button down for what feels like 5 seconds. If you don't hold them down long enough you can end up making an outgoing phone call if you have your phone synced up to it. Giving the power button multiple functions depending on how long you hold it down is a terrible design and annoys me so much that I removed a star.

Other Thoughts: They are kind of big compared to other over the ear headphones so people might look at you funny while walking down the street with these on.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Headphones

Pros: I have owned since May 2014. Battery life is very good. Although the supplied charging usb cord is short, with my notebook I can charge and still listen at the same time if needed. Seems to go for days on a single charge, listening for hours each day. When paired with my phone the clarity is good, although slightly different from my Motorola bluetooth headset. Maybe it's because it's closer to the actual sound. Whereas I've gotten use to the smaller moto ear piece over time. Music sound quality is great, but I'm not an audiophile. Movies are great too. I listen to Pandora while I surf, and if I get up to walk around the range seems to be about 35 to 40 feet, depending on walls. I'm using a Asus bluetooth 4.0 mini usb antenna on the notebook. It seems well made.

Cons: No cons at all. I would buy another one if needed.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Headphones

Pros: Bought two pairs of these (one for me and one for my wife) to use with our phones, laptops, etc for general music listening.

So far they have exceeded expectations in every aspect except as headsets.

Detailed Pros:

Audio Quality - Very good audio reproduction. Sound quality is surprisingly high over Bluetooth. Detailed sounds are carried well, especially in the highs and mids. Bass is good, but not booming. If you want something with more than a slight bump bass wise you might want to look elsewhere.

Pairing - Generally easy to pair, and stay paired very well in open air, or short distances through objects like walls. A lot of this is depended on the quality of the Bluetooth on the device they are pairing to, but in general this applies to what I have tried them on (4 different devices, including USB Bluetooth dongle). These generally pair in under 5 seconds for first time pairing, and in under 1 seconds with devices that have paired them before.

Volume - Not bad. Over Bluetooth I would prefer if these to go a bit louder, but the volume is still fine overall. For most they won't want the volume at max anyway (I listen to lots of loud rock). Listening to them wired seems to go louder than wireless.

Noise Cancellation - These work great to block out surrounding noise. When listening to music with these on I can't hear phones ring or people around me talking.

Noise Bleed - Those around me start to hear my music a bit in the 35%+ max volume range. It's not bad at that range, but something to note if you want to blast your music, but are worried about others around you being bothered by it.

Battery - Lasts 12+ hours off of a full charge. Charge time is relatively short. I want to say 1 hour or so (I leave them charging when I am away so hard to say exactly how long). Mini-USB charging cable included. Wish this was a Micro-USB so I could charge them with my phone/tablet chargers as well.

Comfort - Some of the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. Sometimes use these at work for 6-8 hour stretches with almost no discomfort. This of course might vary depending on head and ear size.

Misc. - Come with a good carrying case, can be used wired or wireless (cable for wired included), and overall sturdy build. Seem to have a metal skeleton underneath the padding. They look nice.

Cons: Detailed Cons:

Headset - Great that this is even part of the headphones, but it isn't a main selling point. This is the only part that is mediocre for me with the AF62's. Sound quality as a headset is sub-par, and others have reported low sound quality capture from the mic. Also, when trying to use these as a headset over Bluetooth while listening to music, gaming, etc. you will only receive sound from the call you are on. There are workarounds for this, but the audio quality is much lower when not set as headphones (computers for example will show two devices with these when paired, a headset and a headphone. You pick which you want to be active). If you are considering these for a gaming headset then my recommendation is to find something else.

Because of the quality inherit in everything else regarding these headphones I don't feel I can knock an egg off for any of the above.

Other Thoughts: I bought these AF-62s on sale through Newegg for around $80 each (Shellshocker). Have had them for around 5 months and usually use them for 12-24 hours a week. Neither me nor my wife have had any issues with them.

Had never heard of MEElectronics brand previous to these, and can't speak to any of their other products, but so far I am impressed with the price/performance ratio.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Deal and Great Quality

Pros: Very comfortable to wear and very light-weight, sound quality of all of the instruments is truly breath-taking. Really like the fact that it’s the only one that I've seen that has excellent battery life and short recharge time. I've been using this since the first week of August and these are truly great comfortable compared to other headsets I've used. Used the Bluetooth last week the answer the phone and its wonderful but keep in mind that if you’re using this headset in an open environment around other coworkers they may think you’re nuts when you start talking to yourself. Fantastic sound quality, very comfortable to wear and very light-weight. The sound quality of all of the instruments is truly breath-taking, every note can be heard. Really like the fact that it’s the only one that I've seen that has excellent battery life and short recharge time. I've been using this since the first week of August and these are truly comfortable compared to other headsets I've used. I used the Bluetooth last week the answer the phone and its wonderful but keep in mind that if you’re using this headset in an open environment around other coworkers they may think you’re nuts when you start talking to yourself. I like the fact that when listening to the music and your phone rings, it will automatically connect to the phone and resume to your music once the call is finished. The clarity of the microphone is clear and with no noticeable feedback. Lastly, pairing your headset is very, very easy. The unit has voice confirmation and the headset will let you know when it unit connects or disconnects and on or off. Some vendors don't offer this feature.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I purchased these on Newegg's other site called "Newegg Flash". I haven't realized the exact cost of these until I looked back into what I paid for these and...Wow what a great deal it was. These are worth the money and more. So long cheap Bluetooth headsets.

5 out of 5 eggsDecent Comfort for a Big Head, Otherwise Great Quality

Pros: Great sound quality, including bass. Plays through 3.5mm jack without needing to turn on power, so I'm pretty sure they don't drain the battery during this type of usage. Pairs easily.

Cons: Uses miniUSB for charging instead of microUSB (like most phones).

Other Thoughts: I was reluctant to these because Reviewer JOHN F. said that contrary to the description and pictures, these are “on-the-ear“. He is most definitely wrong, because these are certainly “over-the-ear“. I can see how they might be a little shallow, but that might only affect people with big/thick ears. The cup diameter is a little smaller than other headphones, but I am a man with average-sized ears, and they fit in the cups just fine (although they do seem to sit on my ear lobes a little).

My main concern is that I have a large head. Basically, I can't wear what is usually the largest-sized, fitted hat (7 5/8) unless I've recently cut my hair. So, headphones usually hurt my head from pressure after long use. Since I'm a software developer, I usually wear headphones for several hours at a time. After wearing for about 2 hours now, these are mildly annoying from pressure, but no more than any other good, “comfortable“ headphones (which is why I don't deduct a star). This will probably fix itself over time, like other headphones usually do.

According to the instructions, a voice alert (in addition to a red LED) will warn you of low battery every minute, which seems like it would be annoying, but I haven't experienced it, yet.

4 out of 5 eggsgood on sale

Pros: Slightly above average sound.
Affordability, I bought mine on sale via newegg's front on a popular auction site that starts with E.
Bluetooth is everything I was hoping for. PC, PS4, and my phone.

Cons: 150 price is a joke, 80 is quite the deal.
Really
small earcups
Inside diameter of these is about 1.5" x 2.5" WxL

Other Thoughts: I'm am happy with my purchase, so long as the rechargable battery isn't junk I would easily recomend these for the average user. Equilizer work can make these sound phenominal.
