3 out of 5 eggsCan't drown out coworkers without them getting peeved

Pros: replaceable audio wire (since that's what breaks most of the time anyway)
decent sound
decent fit

Cons: requires a battery to have any kind of decent sound
sound bleeds out REALLY bad

Other Thoughts: While I liked the ability to change the wire connector, I hated the sound when I first turned it on. On further inspection, I realized it needed a battery. If you tend to keep a battery charger around, I suppose it's not that big a deal for many, but the one and only reason I got these was to drown out my obnoxious coworkers. I didn't turn it up as loud as it would go, mind you... just loud enough to drown them out completely. Within 2 minutes someone was tapping me on my shoulder saying "I can hear that." The one reason I got these was to drown out my coworkers.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Impressive sound!

Pros: The sound quality is extraordinary! I haven't heard a dirty sound yet!

Cons: The noise-cancelling can indeed get a bit annoying but I would argue that the noise is easily ignored.

Other Thoughts: Great for gaming/music!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Headphones!

Pros: The noise cancelling works really well. Well padded, very comfortable. The inline volume control is a nice feature as is the detachable cord from the headphones.

Yes there is a hiss sound if you're not listing to anything and have the noise cancelling feature turned on. But once you turn on any music the hiss is no longer audible. The manufacture even tell you this in a written notice in the packaging.

Considering the price, these headphones are a real bargain compared to the competition.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately, replacement ear cup pads don't seem to be available.

5 out of 5 eggsEqual to or better than Bose

Pros: Great noise cancellation
Excellent range with little distortion
Usess standard battery

Cons: Cord is too short

Other Thoughts: I came across these at Costco next to some Bose headphones and a boombox booming across the aisle. The AblePlant phoned shut down the boombox noise like an iron trap. The music came though sweet and clear, an easy match for the Bose phones--at a third of the Bose price. The cord needs to be long--only complaint--but an extension fixed that.

5 out of 5 eggsNC200 - Bass that Thumps

Pros: The noise cancellation on these headphones is pretty amazing - I have a home studio where I produce music for upcoming artists. Its important to isolate all the noise from around you when recording so that you can clearly hear the beats you have to hit.

I also use the same set of headphones for playback. When you click on the noise cancel, the voice is automatically much clearer and crisper. And, like the title says, the bass THUMPS.

The headphones fold down, and include a pouch to carry the headphones with you.

2 of my artists want a pair of these headphones - that is why Im here today: to buy 3 more pair (Im getting another set for the studio).

Cons: I only wish that these had an automatic shut-off on the noise cancel. Im finding that no one remembers to switch em off, so I have to keep throwing in new batteries.

No biggie.

Other Thoughts: Try listening to Jay Z/ Alicia Keys song Empire State of Mind, if you really want to hear the power of these headphones.

Im telling you: They hit. And they dont cost hundreds of dollars.

Im happy to have found this hidden treasure.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Headphones!!

Pros: The headphones are super comfortable, sound awesome, and cancel noise great! While the noise canceling is not 100%, it drowns out surrounding sound really well. They are also really light. Overall, they are perfect for my needs.

Cons: None at all!

1 out of 5 eggsThe Noise Canceling is HARMFUL!!!!!!

Pros: -Comfortable- The padding is awesome both around the ears and on the top for the head.
-Volume control is a useful detail
-Folding design is useful
-price is decent

Cons: -Average quality sound- compared to other headphones of the same style and price
-Design does not provide noise canceling- with this style of headphones with the cushion and everything it DOES NOT block out any noise with its cushioning and design like other headphones do
-----*Noise canceling design is very harmful- the noise canceling is a huge design mistake:
The noise canceling device in these headphones are located in one side, the right side. when turned off, as stated above, these headphones provide less noise canceling than apple's ipod earbuds. But when turned on, it makes a vibrating/buzzing noise in your ear. Of course this does noise canceling but at the same time the physical buzzing and vibrating is very annoying. Now to the important fact: when the user puts pressure on the side of the headphones that provide the noise canceling (the side marked with an R) IT MAKES A VERY LOUD HIGH PITCHED SCREECH!!!!! This happens when you have these headphones on too tight.

Other Thoughts: It has been one day since i have owned these and I do not think that I can justify owning them even to use test them in the long run.
