2 out of 5 eggsIs it just mine?

Pros: Looks great, feels great, tons of buttons for super buttoning.

I got it for free 6 months ago along with the purchase of the ASUS ROG G751JT-DH72.

I know I shouldn't be negative but...

Cons: Well, when I first got the mouse, I was quite happy. Plugged that bad boy in, it automatically installed its drivers, and I was good to go. Then, then I opened up this slick app called "ROG gaming mouse" that was per-installed. It told me to "please plug in my ROG gaming mouse," and closed automatically. Well, that's weird, because it's already plugged in. Whatever, I don't care enough about those extra 37 buttons to configure them, but I imagine some people do. I was able to download the driver from here which installed a different app with a oddly similar name to the first program -
2nd major problem, the light. The top of the mouse lights up nicely, but the bottom of the mouse is as dark as the free mouse pad they also gave me. I see there's a light down there, it's just simply off. All the time. There's even a little button next to the light that I have pressed at least 14 times in different lengths and patterns but it doesn't seem to do anything. Ironically, when I plug in the mouse, there's a quick orange flash on the sides of the mouse, then black again. So I guess the bottom and sides just don't love me.
3rd - Now the top of the mouse never turns off. Even when I turn off my computer, that light on the top is always on. Is it bragging to the other lights that it works? I don't know, but it's annoying and poops me off.

I sent Asus an email asking what should I do, and immediately they sent me an RMA number, which would be lovely if I lived in America, but I'm in China.. Poop.

Other Thoughts: Would be a great mouse if the top light didn't always prove its dominance over the other two failing lights.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Mouse Overall

Pros: It looks GORGEOUS, and the ROG logo and writing on the left side is engraved. Contrary to some other reviews, I don't think it feels cheap at all. Precision is excellent, my various k/d ratios have rocketed since upgrading my mouse. The mouse feels incredibly natural for a palm-gripper like myself, and still feels great when I play claw.

Cons: Only con is that after a lot of playing, it makes your palm sweat a bit more than a plastic mouse, and you kind of have to scrape it off with your nail if it dries. Not a biggie though.

Other Thoughts: The scroll is not great for browsing (great for gaming), so personally I don't use it all that much on the internet. Great buy for the $60, a bit expensive for the 100.

4 out of 5 eggsgeorgeous design

Pros: it's really amazing, not as ergonomic like my old mouse but still really good, has red, orange, and green lights, you can change ALL the mouse buttons functions.

Cons: the only thing is that the scroll button sometimes it gets stuck

Other Thoughts: asus can improve the ergonomic issue in this mouse but is really good

5 out of 5 eggsgreat, far from cheap

Pros: I've owned many TTe sports mouses and Logitech mouses but I have never felt or seen a nicer feeling or cooler looking mouse, the sensor for this mouse is extremely accurate and 8200 DPI is a little high but with this mouse you can almost get used to such high precision.

Cons: bought this on sale because I thought price was little hefty. but it would of been worth the money either way. Aldo it was little hard to get out of the packaging as one other review stated

Other Thoughts: box is really cool, hope they make keyboard in future

5 out of 5 eggsnice

Pros: I ordered this on the 4th and it arrived on the 5th barley 24 hours later. Great shipping on neweggs side. It was very well packaged and if it didn't say refurbished on the front on the package it came in I would have thought it was new. Dose what it is supposed to so.

Cons: The only thing wrong is that the package was annoying to get into but at least it's protected.

Other Thoughts: This SSD is 50$, it's not big and can hold your OS and maybe a game but like I said 50$ is a steal for a 10sec bot time.

5 out of 5 eggsThe only gamign mouse that i feel was worth the money, after all the other disapointments

Pros: got his mouse in my country for 65 Euro

the best mouse i have ever owned ,and i ha rat 7 ,razer abysus deathadder, imperator, kinzu, sindewinder x3 ,g5 g500 ,g600 (biggest disapointment ever),g9,corsair m60 tt esports black and azurues

-software is greta tons of options independent axys dpi profiles ,liftoff, angle snapping all the good stuff you l ever need

-metal top feels amaizing just awsome it really feels like il molds wioht you re hand once you get the hang of it

lights are simply great they exceed even razer in this one

scrool wheel is premium quality ,tiny indentations that feel good

the 3 buttons on the left side are very well placed 2 on the top forward and back and on down so you have a triangle of butons so it feels natural to use 3 macros in a game you re thimb reaches the, easily

wheight system is very good although i don tuse the whieghts the mouse is perfect wihtout them in my opinion but it s a agreta feature

the overall feel and look is amaizing the lights are so sharp and vibrant it looks amaizing

i used to be a claw gripper but now i just tranformed into a palm gripper even though you can easily clwa gripp it i f you want to ,but for me it feels more easy to palm it and may hand doesen t get all cramped lik it used in claw grip ,i have a normal hand ( my height is 1,86 m)

the mousepad is a great bundle feature but it s not really the greatest quality it s just a normal rubber based one with texture on the top and rog logo ,but at least they put a pad in the box unlike welll eveyone else

teflon feet are good ,not hte bbest but they slide very good

materials used are good plastic is great in hands ,doesen t feel cheap at all,and the metal is just great

BIGGEST PRO OF THEM ALL 3 YEARS WARANTY ,wth else do you wnat really, only logitech offers 3 years
you can basicly bash the mouse until it breaks and get a new one

Cons: one thing that bothers me is that the dpi switch is forward only .it s not a big thing but for some it may be

the logo on the left click is painted not graved =(

the package is a pain in the a.. to open.looks good though

Other Thoughts: i l come back after 2 months or so and make a more detailed review of the mouse

2 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: Mouse is neat has a lot of features.

Cons: The aluminum finish where your palm rest is cutting into my hand and calling ASUS got me no where. I waited for well over a year for this mouse to come out here in the states and I can honestly say I am rather disappointed. One last thing is the software needed for the mouse you have to go download, NO cd comes with it I am going to return it and go back to logitech.

Other Thoughts: I like the mouse but I don't like my hand being dug into by the metal and plastic of the mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse

Pros: awesome looking! as far as gaming goes the mouse preforms just as well as my CM Storm Advance Sentinel II.
Overall an awesome product

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: really worth consideration, is a little expensive though considering I paid somewhere around $30 for my Sentinel II.
