4 out of 5 eggsI LOVE this mouse, but where do I put my pinky finger?

Pros: I actually got this as an open box item but it came in flawless condition.

Feels AMAZING in your hand (pinky finger is a little cramped though, see below)

I do have big hands but I dont think that smaller hands would have any problems with this mouse. My tiny handed girlfriend tried to fight me over it but she lost so now she is using my old mouse.

Software works very well for adjusting profiles (although I only set up the "red" profile so the indicator LED is always red)

I adore having a rocking DPI switch so I can switch between levels quickly without having to cycle through all of them. Also VERY nice to have the staged led's to indicate which DPI setting you are on. I never really did on the fly adjustments to the DPI on any of my other mouse (mice?) because it was too much of a hassle but this one has really made me appreciate the feature

Cons: My pinky finger does not quite know where to go on this mouse. The right side is not tall enough to fit both my pinky and right ring finger, so my pinky usually hangs back a little to avoid dragging on the mousepad but it ends up dragging anyways. If it were not for this then I would give this mouse a 5 star rating, no questions asked. If you dont mind having 3 fingers on top of the mouse (one on each button and one on scroll wheel area) then I dont think that it would be a problem for you, but that feels really unnatural and strange to me. (like how the chick in Jurassic park holds the mouse in that scene where she's fixing the security system, its absolutely crazy)

I wish it had a bit more weight to it, even with all 5 of the 4.5gram weights it feels a bit lighter than I'd like but really it is fine, she's got a healthy girth to her.

Really loud back and forward buttons, not a big deal but notable

Other Thoughts: As soon as I took it out of the package and wrapped my hands around it, I felt like I'd finally met my mouse version of a soulmate. I instantly threw my Gamidas mouse off of my desk because now I felt that I had been cheated with an inferior gaming mouse for the last year. then I got a little bothered by how much my pinky drags on the mousepad but It may just be me holding the mouse wrong but I just do what feels good and natural

it took me some getting used to but I'm quite a big fan of this mouse!

4 out of 5 eggsSturdy with good ergonomics

Pros: It fits my hand well, this obviously may differ as I have large hands (I am 6'1").
Right and left click feel very sturdy, as does the scroll wheel--although I think the scroll wheel will lose a lot of resistant as it ages.
The DPI switch is exceptional, can easily toggle up and down precisely.
The software works as advertised, but I have kept my DPI settings at default as I switch between operating systems a lot and cannot yet find a way to set custom DPI profiles in Linux.
I like the weight, and you can make it lighter if you want (comes with five 4.5G weights).
Gripping on the thumb side is comfortable and effective.

Cons: No side-to-side scroll lock on the scroll wheel
Browser navigation buttons (forward and back) feel cheap, loose

Other Thoughts: I used a wireless gaming mouse very similar for years, but as it aged I found I ended up playing with it plugged in and charging most of the time. I appreciate not having to worry about wireless issues, battery issues, etc. The biggest thing for me is how it fits in my hand. I picked this up at a brick and mortar store as it was on sale and I was able to actually get my hands on it before buying. I would highly recommend actually putting a mouse in your hand before buying, that may not always be possible, but I think you will be most satisfied if you do.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Awesome mouse. I've used a track ball mouse for years but the money dumped in them because of them dying was too much. I've bitten the bullet and bought a mouse.

Looked around for a long time and read many reviews and on this mouse so I gave it a shot. Glad I did.

Great with my custom PC color scheme.
Awesome that you can easily switch the dpi with the little switch.
Fits very good in my hand and the rubber coating keeps it from slipping in my hand while gaming.
I was surprised to find out the dpi indicator lights flash while mouse isn't in use looks great. My friend calls it my "Knight rider mouse".

Cons: Only con I have is the back button is pretty awkwardly pushed too far towards the top of the mouse and you either have to have a long thumb or reach up pretty far.
I suppose you could put your hand higher up on the mouse but it feels too awkward.
