4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Decent mouse. Seemingly high DPI. Good feel on my hand. Glides well across mouse pad. Breathing LED looks cool.

Cons: None really I suppose. I just took off one egg because it's just a generic mouse that does nothing special.

Other Thoughts: I got this mouse for free for purchasing an ASUS motherboard. It's a decent mouse. It works well and feels nice. There's nothing particularly special about it though. It's a generic gaming mouse. Works well and looks pretty cool.

1 out of 5 eggsOff to a good start but...

Pros: - Ergonomic
- Pretty
- Worked in the beginning

Cons: - It broke in a week... With limited use. I would say, after about 5 hours of use
- horrible RMA process (required to pay shipping for defective item and no chance of reimbursement)

Other Thoughts: A lot of people complained about it feeling cheap but I thought it was very comfortable to hold and it molded to the hand very nicely.

Got this mouse free with my most recent build. I have two gaming mice already that are awesome so I let my girlfriend use this one. She maybe games 4 hours a week, tops. This thing broke the first week, completely unresponsive. Tried it on my old computer build that she's using now, and my new one, nothing works—lights don't even come up nor does windows register a device plugging in.

Their automated RMA system pointed out I have to pay shipping to and from Asus for the replacement. I contacted them pointing out how irrational that was since it is under warranty, they said they could pay replacement shipping back to me but I'd still have to cover return. It is just that extra annoyance that is more insult to injury after the mouse died so quickly. This is 2015, with competition doing so much better on their RMA processes, they got to kind of step it up or they'll be left behind in their customer satisfaction rating. Especially since I just paid top dollar for their Rampage V Extreme motherboard. Help your customer out, seriously.

2 out of 5 eggsBad sensors

Pros: Nice feel in the hand, nice weight and precise

Cons: Mouse sensor broke 38 days after buying it.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent gaming mouse

Pros: So far... not bad. Left, right, and wheel click are satisfying and responsive. Scroll is accurate, and registers way better than my last mouse. This optical is so sensitive that I had to buy a new mousepad. Mouse feels really good in your hand, and the weight is ok. Angled and braided cable feel really sturdy.

Cons: The thumb buttons feel a little clustered, for the size of the mouse. When button 6 (DPI throttler) is stock configured, it doesn't always register or know the difference between toggle and momentary.

The software is a monster, and Gaben help you if you delete a profile before saving the one you're already editing. This configured all the buttons on the mouse to right-click.

Other Thoughts: For all its faults, I only removed one star. It is a pretty decent entry level gaming mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsdecent mouse

Pros: Great size, shape, button placement, sensor, and feet.
Software is decent enough can be uninstalled after you set the mouse up.

Cons: Mouse3 (scroll wheel button) is too difficult to press in a timely manner, takes excessive force and time to pushdown. I don't use it so no big deal to me, but I would have returned the mouse if I did use it.
Can't actually adjust lift off distance in drivers, sensor will become unresponsive and require a reset to default settings. ( tested in firmware 1.03, 1.05, and 1.07 which is the latest)

Other Thoughts: Left mouse button started to go after 2 months of use. Something is up with the contacts. Doing an RMA now, but it's pretty disappointing.I was really happy with the mouse prior to that. Hopefully they replace it and the next one lasts for a few years at least.

3 out of 5 eggsAsus Strix Claw

Pros: Mouse quality is amazing buttons are in nice positions and the dpi (claw level) is nice to change on the fly when you need it. Has nice length and braided cable which I don't see ever having issues overall the mouse is great with the exception of one key flaw.

Cons: The middle click button on the scroll wheel the biggest nail in the coffin for this mouse, it is so hard to click that i'm starting to not open new tabs with the middle click anymore, and i loved opening those tabs. The only reason why i have not returned this mouse for it atrocious middle click is because i got the mouse for free in a deal with the Strix keyboard.

Other Thoughts: The only reason why i have not returned this mouse for it atrocious middle click is because i got the mouse for free in a deal with the Strix keyboard. If the middle wheel click isn't a big deal for you then pick this up im sure you will be happy. ( seriously i spent like an hour spamming the button hoping it would get easier but no! GG

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Build Quality

Pros: Very comfortable for both palm and claw grip.
Despite having a plastic surface, still has good grip due to textured plastic on sides.
"Sniper Button" perfectly placed for ease of use.
Optical sensor was perfect until it stopped working.

Cons: Mouse has a light and cheap feel due to its all plastic construction. Scroll button was a little uncomfortable due to sharp ridges on sides.
Orange is the only LED color option.
Quality Control is lacking as the mouse sensor died after 30 days. All the buttons still worked but the mouse no longer tracked movement. There are other reviews that had this same issue.

Other Thoughts: If not for the fact that my mouse died after a month and this seems to be a common issue, I would highly recommend this mouse, especially for shooters.
