4 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse

Pros: High quality components, solid feel to everything from buttons to mouse construction. Rubber on the sides is nice. Tracks very accurately, and you're able to set the acceleration profiles. Best of all, your settings are stored on the mouse

Cons: My only real complaint with this mouse is that if you're using it under OSX, the ASUS software will not find the device as is. You have to plug it into a Windows box first, then the driver will detect their mouse needing a firmware update. Once I updated the firmware, it works flawlessly and the software under OSX finds it. Kinda odd their OSX software can't detect an older version of firmware and update it.

Other Thoughts: Asus technical support was useless in trying to get my issue with the firmware figured out. I realize I was probably talking to a level 1 tech, but, it's kind of ridiculous when they ask where you got the driver from, only to have the tech agent tell you that's the wrong version and link you to the exact same file you gave them seconds before. Thankfully, I figured the solution out on my own.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: Feels Cheap while holding it one hand but getting to use and move this mouse as a new daily mouse takes that feeling away and makes it seem more high quality. The button placement it on point. Braided and spare cable huge plus

Cons: A little pricey good for 60-50. The unlock pull to get the cable out is good because it keep the cable lock into the mouse but very hard to get the cable out. But nowhere near a deal break nor doesn't it device anything lower than a 5.

Other Thoughts: The software is great love it. Love the breathing red LED. But would like to see RGB.

5 out of 5 eggsI think it's Great!

Pros: I think it's sent from someone above. My left little finger has no feeling. It was very hard to quickly copy & paste using the windows short cut keys. Now it's a breeze. Assigned the slide and click buttons to these functions and it works with effortless ease.
The ability to adjust the mouse speed with a click of the button is amazing.
I have slightly larger than avg. hands and the mouse fits like a glove.
The ability to turn the lights on and off is great. You can look good or save a little electricity and it's your choice.
It comes with a 1 & 2 meter cord, so there is plenty of length from a floor tower to the workstation. I keep one cord plugged into my laptop and switch the mouse back and forth.
I absolutely give it 5 eggs with no reservations.

Cons: The only fault I can mention is the cord lock on the mouse. It is spring loaded, so you can't leave it unlocked. And somewhat hard to operate, because of it's small button and my large hands.
I would think that even though you can reassign the left and right click buttons, the slide and clicks are on the left side and that might be a problem for lefties.

Other Thoughts: Just buy it.

2 out of 5 eggsnice, but not great.

Pros: HUGH thumbs-up for its ability to change micro-switches by yourself. Not only you can have different clicking feels, but you never have to worry about aged switches problems like double-clicking.
Very good tracking ability. Works great on both of my high-end cloth pad and $2 cloth pad. Button clicks feels great thanks to its nicely built internal structure.

Cons: 1.
The scrolling wheel broke down after 5 months. The connection from the wheel to the scroll sensing mechanic broke apart. The wheel, the connection rod, and the sensing gear is built as one part and there are all plastic. The diameter of the connection is pretty thin and I don't think it can withstand the resisting torque coming from the sensing gear. However, it can be easily fixed by a tiny bit of superglue.
2.
The mouse body is pretty narrow, especially from where your thumb is to where your little finger rests. My hand is on the smaller side in the asian hand size scale, not to mention the hand size of the americans.

Other Thoughts: A great mouse design with changeable microswitches, but with a little imperfection.

5 out of 5 eggsQuite the Sword

Pros: To paraphrase Mohammed Ali,"Glides like a butterfly, zips like a bee!" The movement is fluid across multiple surfaces and is quite fast across my chosen mouse pad, a piece of basketball court flooring. And no surface adjustments were necessary via the software. The quality of the ROG motherboard in my primary system is such that I could purchase this mouse with confidence. The extras included with the Gladius, particularly the feet and switches, were the deal makers. After hours of use, I've had no stress or fatigue in my right hand.

Cons: Not an ambidextrous mouse. Bit of a shame that those southpaws among us won't be able to enjoy the wonderful characteristics of the Gladius.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this mouse to anyone who is right handed . The software is simple in function . Play with it a bit and you'll have a great gaming or general use experience.
Perhaps Asus could do something with this mouse that no other mouse manufacturer has done to help those of us stuck in the frozen areas of the US-install a heating element!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Mouse

Pros: This was the first gaming mouse I ever bought, I was trying to decide between this and the Corsair m65, but I ending up going with this because of the red leds. I'm glad I did, it has very high build quality, and Is very comfortable. It comes with a case and the cord is detachable which is good for people who like to take the mouse with them. I can game for 4 hours and still be comfortable. The software is easy to use and intuitive. You can easily record macros for games. The ability to set up multiple profiles comes in handy when I need to do typing or something, as I set my forward and backward buttons to cut and paste.

Cons: Can't set the middle button to alt-tab. Needs more lighting options. You can't set profiles to certain applications like with Synapse or upload your settings to the cloud.

4 out of 5 eggsAlmost perfect

Pros: Easily one of the best 5 button mice I've ever used. (6 if you count the DPI toggle button)

Fits the right hand excellently. Has good grip. Buttons respond at the perfect level of pressure. Sensor is spot on.

An odd feature that turned out to be very helpful was the fact that you can save your mouse settings internally, so taking it to other systems doesn't require configuration. Good move!

Cons: There were a couple flaws with this, but only one can be blamed on the design.

The only issue I can really complain about is that the scroll wheel has one click when scrolling upward that does not respond. This is likely a defect but I can't say if it's just mine or with all of them. Would be quite pleased if I could be sent a replacement scroll wheel assembly to install.

The other issue is that it appears to crash the X server under Linux when using polling rates over 500Hz. This is likely due to the open source drivers being underdeveloped and shouldn't be counted against the company. 500Hz is plenty for most.

Other Thoughts: Despite the defect, I found this to be an excellent product. Would recommend to any gamer who wants a quality mouse that will last them a good long time.

Like I said, sending a replacement assembly for the scroll wheel would go a long way for your reputation. (Or having me send it in.) Customer support has been the only shortcoming with Asus in general, and I'd be happy to spread the word if you offered to help me with this.
