1 out of 5 eggsHad High hopes for this mouse

Pros: The build quality and feel of this mouse was nice and it felt really solid in the hand. The weights were nice and easy to get to if you wanted to adjust them. The nylon braided cord offered little resistance when moving the mouse giving an almost Cordless feel. Customizing the buttons through the software was a breeze as the utility is very intuitive, I had the buttons remapped in 5 minutes without reading any instructions. The mode switching on the mouse was nice and the button has a light that changes color so you know which of the 5 modes your in.

Cons: Because of the way I hold my mouse clicking the the left button resulted in a small vibration through my finger, this doesn't sound like much but after a couple hours it was like finger nails on a chalkboard. The tracking on the mouse wasn't as crisp as I would have liked or thought it would be, my 5+ year old mouse tracks better. The side buttons were not the easiest to click since they are mounted a little high, I could get to them but it didn't feel natural as with other mice I have owned.

The BIGGEST issue I had was the mouse did not like my computer or visa versa. My Computer is about 8 months old with Windows 10 so not sure why there was a problem. I tried several games using this mouse and noticed massive lag when trying to move it also messed with games loading as if it was chewing up a ton of ram or processor time. This even happened after rebooting my computer it took forever for the desktop to load which has never happened before. I thought maybe it was the software but even after removing it the problem persisted until I unplugged this mouse which then my computer went back to normal. This is the first time I have ever seen a mouse affect a computer in this way and I hope its the last.

Other Thoughts: I can not recommend this mouse because of the major problem I had with it, maybe I just got a malfunctioning one but the things that I didn't like are enough for me not to try another one.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple, Clean, and Comfortable

Pros: -
• Clean design
• Matte finish to prevent smudging
• Cloth cord reduces coiling
• Ability to change the weight of the mouse
• Three extra buttons for navigation/gaming
• Software is simple and fairly easy to use
• DPI switch allows multiple speed and button layouts
• Mouse feels solid for the price

Cons: -
• Fire logo can be confused with grime on the top of the mouse when in use
• 3x fire button next to the left mouse button is pointless
• You must use the software to have multiple profiles
• Difficult to set which software profiles correspond with which mouse light

Other Thoughts: -
- This product is great for anyone building on a budget, or who wants a well-built mouse for a low cost.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse

Pros: Mouse is very comfortable and precise.

Cons: No cons. Maybe a little big for a small hand like mine.

Other Thoughts: I used to use Razor DeathAdder, but it just didn't feel comfortable as I wanted. Since I've switched to FireGlider, it feels a lot better. I would say DeathAdder and FireGlider are very similar in terms of comfort and precision, but for me FireGlider is a lot better. It is a little bigger than DeathAdder but this hasn't been a problem. The software that comes with it is very easy to use. Overall, this is a great mouse for a price.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Ergonomic, programmable buttons are easy to set up through the provided software, ability to switch between configuration presets on the fly, looks nice, overall a great deal considering the relatively low price point

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I wanted a decent gaming mouse that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg, and I also wanted one that looks and feels like a normal mouse, not some oddly-shaped brick thing that I would have to get used to using. The FireGlider meets both of these criteria perfectly.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesn't work with software

Pros: Feel comfortable, nice weight, dpi setting works well

Cons: Got it specifically to use the onboard memory feature and 'Mouse Editor' software, but after trying it on 3 separate computers every time I open the Mouse Editor software I receive a 'Mouse Not Detected' error, even though the mouse is clearly working. Customer service says maybe it's broken. Very disappointing.

Other Thoughts: I know I could return it and replace it, but now I'm soured on the product.

5 out of 5 eggsBest mouse I've had

Pros: Overall, this thing is fantastic. I bought it to replace my Razer Deathadder Chroma which I ended up returning because the egonomics and weight didn't quite suite me. I figured since it was so cheap and a similar ergonomic design to the Deathadder, I'd use it for a few months before upgrading to something that would fit me a bit better but upon using it I was blown away by how perfect this mouse fit my needs. I play a ton of CS:GO and other reasonably competitive FPS games and this thing is near perfect for me.
At first, I thought the extra button next to the scroll wheel would be essentially useless but after fiddling with the software, I've begun using it for various macro functions in pretty much every game I play and I don't know what I'd do without it.

Cons: The flashy "gamer style" flames.

Other Thoughts: Apparently these things are actually manufactured and sold by a company called A4Tech and then re-branded and resold by companies like Sharkoon and Trust meaning there are at least three different retail versions of this same mouse on the market that function exactly the same but are painted and styled differently. In the future, when this one kicks the bucket, I'll probably pick up the one from Trust because it has the least flashy design of the three I've seen.
