2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fits my hand perfectly.

Cons: I'm basically here to give the cons. The only con is the scroll wheel. It's absolute garbage. If you want a mouse with a defective scroll wheel that bounces up and down on the screen. This is the mouse for you. I've had this mouse for 6 months and I can't stand it any longer. I'm getting a new mouse and tossing this one in the trash.

Other Thoughts: Don't get this mouse. If you do a lot of scrolling (which you will have to use sometime on the PC or MAC), this is not for you.

2 out of 5 eggsscroll wheel

Pros: I love the feel and weight of it

Cons: SCROLL WHEEL IS MASSIVELY DEFECTIVE... SPAZZES OUT ON USE

Other Thoughts: since there apparently isn't any way to fix the scroll wheel will be replacing it asap

3 out of 5 eggsFeels great but has scroll wheel issues

Pros: Feels great, good size for my somewhat larger hands. Nice click action on the main buttons. Good grip and weight. Long cloth cord is nice.

Cons: Scroll wheel is majorly defective. As mentioned in other reviews, after about a week or two of use, it started randomly jumping up and down. Not sure if it's a hardware issue or a driver issue but it's very annoying. If there's no obvious fix for it I'll be returning this and looking for something higher quality.

Other Thoughts: For the price this is a good mouse. You do get what you pay for.

2 out of 5 eggsNot a good time

Pros: Cloth cabling is nice, rubber thumb traction is a nice touch. Mouse glides well on mousepad, and I liked the mouse speed button and mouse4/mouse5 button placement.

Cons: Not a very ergonomic fit, my hand started to hurt after a long gaming bout. Also, the scroll wheel does not work at all. It tries to scroll down, then jumps up, down, up again, etc while I'm trying to scroll down. It does this on other computers as well.

Other Thoughts: I'm sorely disappointed in this and wish I hadn't wasted my money on this mouse. I have since purchased a Microsoft Explorer Mouse, model: 1362, with bluetrack and love it. It's wireless, ergonomic, and 5-button and comes with it's own recharging station.

5 out of 5 eggsSimplicity and Comfort

Pros: Very comfortable: feels right in my hand
Long cable
6 buttons
adequate dpi
pretty lights

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Its a simple gaming mouse, nothing too fancy. Has a nice rubber padding where you put your thumb and it has a good weighted feel to it.

3 out of 5 eggsDetails really matter--the Raptor Gaming Mouse.

Pros: This mouse is large. From the tip of the buttons (just over the cord) to the very back of the mouse is 5 inches. I really like this (yeti hands). With the grip under the thumb and contours of the buttons it is very comfortable.

I like the weight. (no scale, sorry)

The wheel is wide.

It lights up/looks great.

Sensitivity button is nice.

Really great cord. It is long, flexible, and tough.

Cons: There are two things that really ruin the mouse for me.

1. I prefer a mouse wheel that has a solid click with resistance when it spins. This way you can easily count the number of "notches" it moves. This is really helpful for scrolling between guns or skills accurately. The wheel on this mouse is a little too fluid for me. The clicks aren't very definite.

2. The scroll wheel will jump around randomly. If I am scrolling down a page it will often jump me a whole page up or down when I am trying to only scroll slowly. This is really annoying--so much that both eggs are due to this. I'm not sure if this is just the one I got or not, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Other Thoughts: Other than the sketchy scroll wheel, this mouse is awesome! If you use the scroll wheel for anything... move on. I shouldn't have gambled with buying a mouse online. Go to the store and try some out.
