1 out of 5 eggsDONT BUY THIS MOUSE!!!!

Pros: The hardware is great

Cons: The software and firmware for this mouse is JUNK!
The hardware is great but till they fix the software run away.

Other Thoughts: Love corsair for most things but I will never buy a mouse from them again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse

Pros: Fits hand well, Lights up, Macro buttons are well placed and comfortable, Looks awesome!!

Cons: Not really a con, but the mouse is fairly heavy. You either love it or hate it.

Other Thoughts: Bought this mouse after my Steelseries Ikari started quadruple clicking. The reviews for this mouse weren't the best so my decision was this mouse or a Logitech G600 which a friend of mine owns. I decided to take the bet and purchase this mouse. Extremely impressed and I recommend it anyone who is looking for a solid mmo mouse.

2 out of 5 eggsOK at first, bad support

Pros: Heavy, smooth and precise movement.

Cons: Worked well for about 45 days, then stopped recognizing mouse movement, but kept clicks. No other changes had been made to the computer, and the same defect present when I plugged the mouse into other computers. I tried to RMA with corsair but kept getting a runaround with firmware updates and vanishing support messages. Good mouse in theory, but quit early and poor support.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Gaming Mouse for the Money!

Pros: What can I say more buttons than you could use, more functions than you would ever need, fast and very responsive, awesome blue L.E.D. lighting, very comfortable to use.

Cons: Not really much of a con but this mouse does not work in my Asus Crosshair V Formula UEFI bios when you try to scroll or move up and down on the mouse the cursor just goes from left to right, but otherthan that it works great in everything else!!!

Other Thoughts: I give this mouse four stars because of my issues I have with it in my UEFI bios and it's not cordless but I would still recommend this mouse to anyone I know!

5 out of 5 eggsamazing mouse

Pros: Great response time, and tracking. the buttons on the side are fully customizable and extremely helpfull even when your not gaming, can program them to navagate your web browser, copy and paste and pretty much anything. also very comfortable, other mice feel awkward sometimes this one is contoured to your hand shape and its noticable.

Cons: none other than it makes it hard to go back to a normal mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat MMO Mouse

Pros: Great DPI, solid overall feel, good weight, braided cable is nicer than traditional cabling.

This mouse has optional blue accent lighting which looks phenomenal.

Cons: Software is buggy, mouse wheel wiggles from side to side if you shake the mouse... minor, but annoying

3 out of 5 eggsGood but static kills it

Pros: The mouse feels great in my hand, the lights are nice and the buttons and scroll wheel functions good. It is also programmable and you can use it in hardware or software mode.

Cons: The main problem I have with this mouse is after I walk to another room and then back again and touch the mouse, it shuts off due to static discharge and then turns back on again after about 10-15 seconds. This is very annoying, especially when I'm trying to get work done and I have to sit here and wait for the mouse to work again. I believe this has something to do with the metal base on the mouse. I understand that the metal base is supposed to help the mouse last longer and glide easier, but it is obviously a bad idea. Glad I bought this as a combo deal and the rebate basically makes the mouse free, but seriously Corsair I think you should do some more r&d on metal bases and static discharge.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible

Pros: It looks cool

Cons: Absolutely horrible. Shuts off whenever it wants, horrible software included. Has to be unplugged a few times an hour in order for it to work. shocks my hand everytime I try to use it and shuts itself

Other Thoughts: Do not buy.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointment

Pros: Nice physical size for large hand - any grip style. Great potential for button assignments.

Cons: Doesn't work. While Corsair technical response is friendly - after an entire weekend of trouble shooting a defective mouse, I had to pay to return the mouse to them - then, they lost the package after receipt from USPS. I have sent them the tracking information and I am still waiting on a replacement. I hope I actually get one - otherwise I will have paid for a mouse that does not work and now, I don't even have a paperweight.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat, when it was working.

Pros: I REALLY wanted this mouse to not have any issues. It appeared/felt really solid, had a nice weight to it, braided cord, bottom is metal.

The buttons on the side are GREAT for MMOs and such. I can pretty much play GW2 one handed with this mouse. The layout of the side buttons make it easy to navigate by touch. Touch-mousing, haha.

The software wasn't that bad, although it takes longer than average to figure it out. Setting hardware mode helps with the key activation. I don't do anything really fancy, just mapping keyboard keys/combos to them.

Cons: The scroll wheel broke (it broke in the worse way possible; it would be better if it didn't work at all, but instead it freaks out) - about 4 or 5 months after I bought it. It drives me insane. It's all buggy and stuff. I CAN NOT scroll up the page, and it will randomly scroll down. For the amount of money I paid for this thing and for it being from Corsair. I expected much better.

It's the biggest problem when I'm web surfing. Barely touching it will send me skyrocketing down the page, and it makes middle clicking extremely difficult, because it wants to scroll down five hundred times instead.

In-game, it's really not a big problem unless it's a game where I need to use the scroll wheel a lot, to zoom in and out for example.

But I just can't take it anymore when I'm using my web browser/doing ANYTHING else on my PC. It drives me insane and makes me want to smash the mouse into my monitor. I'm going to buy a new mouse right now so I don't have to put up with it anymore.

I am REALLY disappointed in Corsair and will be wary of buying their products in the future, as I've searched and found this is a pretty common issue for the mouse.

AND. AND. AND! You CANNOT take this thing apart to look at the issue!! It's RIVETED together, instead of being screw ed (why won't you let me say this word, newegg? a screw is an object used to attach two things together) together like a normal mouse. I'm going to have to trash this when my new one comes in.

I mean, I suppose you could get a tiny drill bit and try to drill out the rivets, but once you get past that, there's probably other stuff that won't come apart, assuming you don't damage the circuitry and render it inoperative. I'm disappointed, Corsair.

I gave 2 eggs because

A: the scroll wheel didn't just stop working, it actively, negatively affects my computing experience by gliching out.

B: it's impossible (without probably destroying it) to disassemble the mouse and try to rectify the issue.

So that's -1 egg for the mouse having an issue, -1 egg for A, and -1 egg for B.

Other Thoughts: I'm disappointed, Corsair. Best and worst mouse I've ever owned at the same time.

I got this from my local "Colloquial shortened version of fried potatoe's" Electronics and it was brand new and unopened. I got the Corsair K90 keyboard at the same time though and it's still workin great. They really just failed on the component quality of this mouse.

(Wow I really feel like I'm in Nineteen Eighty-Four here with your word filter Newegg).
