2 out of 5 eggsBreaking is a problem

Pros: Great audio quality, incredible comfort, acceptable microphone, prompt and knowledgeable support.

Cons: Horrible distortion of certain sounds in surround mode, broken within 4 months of use.

Other Thoughts: The distortion problem may have had something to do with my setup beyond the headphones, or maybe the specific game I used them with, but 3-4 months is not an acceptable lifespan for $100+ headphones. I'm probably pretty far on the high end of challenging the durability, I put on and removed the headset several times every day for the time I owned it, but anything resembling normal use shouldn't be so strenuous as to completely snap an earcup off (specifically the right one, which seems to be the same for everyone for some reason).

If you have some way to repair it, are certain that you can keep it from breaking, or get an extended no-questions-asked warranty (the included one doesn't cover "damage incurred during normal use", I checked) then it might be worthwhile, but otherwise there are better options.

1 out of 5 eggsGlorious agony

Pros: Oh my goodness are they are comfortable. They feel just right around the ears and do not get you all sweaty. The microfiber breathes and denies sweat an opportunity to build up. The weight is barely noticeable. They do not squeeze your head. The mic works wonderfully. The audio is of amazing quality. The battery life is more than adequate. The range is outstanding.

Cons: They break at the ear swivels inside of a year if you play more than 3 times per week and handle with care. Once mine completely broke off on the right side, i thought I could just cut off the ear cup and go with a one sided headset, but it was a fail. I bricked them. After owning such a great headset, it is a huge pain to find something else to fill the gap.

Other Thoughts: This really could be the best headset on the gaming market if they would design the ear swivels to stand up to real life. Use an aircraft grade aluminum and it will eliminate the problem. I'd pay the extra money for the durability. I've tried logitech H800 and turtle beach xp500 and neither of them hold a candle to my eight month run with the corsair vengeance 2000. It is a truly great headset, with one great big flaw, it won't last. It's like a trophy wife. I didn't want everyone else to be right about it being broken, but in the end, no matter what I did the end result was the same as it has been with everyone else.

5 out of 5 eggsno complaints!

Pros: amazing sound, they have a really good range from deep bass to the high tweets. noise cancelation works great! drounds out a complaining gf/mom/wife extremly well. music sounds better threw the headphones than my stereo system. gaming performance is great!! explosions sound like they are next to you and you can hear footsteps darn good. i get more than 40ft for range. well worth the price.

Cons: i dont have a second pair yet!!!

Other Thoughts: they have no breaks or cracks and have worked every time i have plugged them in just fine. everyone must be really abusing them for those that have them break on them. battery life is great on my set, id say about 10 hours of runtime.

2 out of 5 eggsBROKE IN 4 MONTHS

Pros: Awesome quality, awesome response.

Cons: Really stupid construction, shallow seated headphones means you have to be pretty gentle. DO NOT STRESS THE PART OF THE HEADSET THAT CONNECTS THE EAR PHONE TO THE HEAD BAND.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Sound Let Down by Terrible Design

Pros: Great sound, excellent mic and voice-quality

Cons: TERRIBLE engineering quality. Headset does not fit well over larger heads, heat-management is an issue and swivel-joints on ear cups breaks easily.

Other Thoughts: It's unfortunate that the great sound-quality is let down so badly by cheap materials and poor design. I would recommend competitor's headsets over this one.

4 out of 5 eggslove it

Pros: -looks good
-works perfectly
-battery lasts about 8 hours before it starts beeping then it has about another 30 or so minutes left. (not 10 hours as advertised but they always stretch the truth on advertisements.....most tech savy people know that anyways)
-drivers are easy to install/work
-mic & sound quality are awesome
-VIRTUAL 7.1 surround sound (not real surround sound (doesn't have 7 speakers), but does a very good job of simulating 7.1)

Cons: -last about 8+ hours until it needs to be charged...always white lie advertisements with things such as battery life when companies advertise.

Other Thoughts: -when you change sound devices while in a game or maybe in ventrilo or another voice program, you'll need to restart the game or maybe the voice program. Not all games or voice chat programs can adjust promptly when changing from speaker sound device to headset/mic. this isn't a big deal for me, but LoL & ventrilo will not output sound if you change while in use.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headset

Pros: Great sound and easy to setup. mostly plugin and play with a download for the software. Stays on my head better then my old headset. A different brand.

The range was great I could walk out to the kitchen and still hear everything.

Cons: Sound messes up when I Live stream with obs. but goes back to normal when I close that program. So most likely its not the head set but obs.

Other Thoughts: A bit more money then I wanted to spend but worth the money.

4 out of 5 eggsCorsair Vengeance 200 Head sets

Pros: Best sounding headphones I have ever owned. Feels great on the head and boom mike works great.

Cons: Range not 40 feet but good enough. You soundswitch software to switch between headphones and speakers.

Other Thoughts: need way to mute headphones

1 out of 5 eggs3 Months

Pros: -Amazing sound quality
-Comfortable
-Wireless

Cons: After three months, it broke. When I bought this headset, I read the reviews about where it usually breaks (where the ear piece swivels), so I thought as long as I put the headset on holding higher than that area I should be fine right? NOPE.

This snapped an inside plastic piece right on the adjustable part on the left side. I then look on the right side... Cracks have formed all over the swivel part on the right side. Since the left side didn't completely break and I could still wear them, I kept using them. One week later the right side completely broke off at the swivel.

Other Thoughts: It seems no matter how you put these headphones on your head, they will break within a few months to a year.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: Sounds good, I'm no audiophile but my pals stopped complaining about me being too loud or soft on team speak and I can hear them fine.

Cons: just a touch of white noise when no sound is playing. My ears get hot. Ventilation might let sound out but it also lets heat out.

Other Thoughts: Worth the money? maybe. A good headset that I am enjoying? yes.
