5 out of 5 eggsDie hard G9x fan finally found a better mouse

Pros: Snipe button is simply amazing.
Smooth.
Comfortable after hours of use.
Price is absolutely well positioned for the amazing quality of this mouse.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: After trying about 5-6 $70+ mice over the last 4 years I settled on Logitech G9x. My mouse finally wore out and I was in need of a replacement.
I might get an extra... (never know when companies will decide to discontinue great products for no reason... like the g9x)

5 out of 5 eggsWhat More Could You Want!

Pros: Normally I hate blister packaging, but Corsair made this an easy open package. My last mouse was by Corsair and it went legs up. I searched for another brand, but couldn't find one with higher reviews. I gave Corsair another try and I'm glad I did. I have large hands and the M65 fits great. I glides like butter once you get it set the way you want it. The buttons are responsive without being to delicate. The wheel works well with a ratchet like feel. The M65 is a fine product and I would buy it again.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: How many buttons do you need on a mouse anyway? I am an extreme gamer and have been for years. I don't understand these mice with 10 or 12 programmable buttons. These buttons are usually under the thumb of your right hand where the page forward and backward are located. and are so small it makes them impossible for me to use half of them. I find the M65 super for gaming and all around use. I got it on sale.

5 out of 5 eggsI like it

Pros: Good feel, it's smooth, DPI is great, and the sniper button is something to get used to, but when you do - it's fantastic.

Cons: The angle snapping is autism, but you can disable it in the software, so it's not really much of a downside.

Other Thoughts: I got this little guy after burning through about 5 Logitech G500s switches, and wanted something that would last - so far it's outlasted any G500s I had previously. I got this in December of last year (Had it for 4 months so far), I wish there were some features that the G500 had, but I'll take durability over fancies any day.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome mouse!

Pros: -Very Comfortable
-Good Grip
-Snipe button works great (especially in Arma 3)
-3 weights which can be easily adjusted for your comfort
-Cool blue LEDs

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Overall, this mouse is great. The aluminum construction makes it a real sturdy mouse and it looks pretty sweet too. The software that runs the mouse is easy to use and with 3 programmable DPI settings what more can you ask for?

3 out of 5 eggsFlawed

Pros: Build quality & aesthetic

Cons: The right mouse button is far too sensitive, extremely irritating accidental clicks, almost unavoidable. I may or may no get used to it and readjust my grip but for the moment I'm considering returning it.

3 out of 5 eggsDon't touch the buttons

Pros: Wheel click is good, the Sniper button is the best feature.

Cons: Left and Right buttons are far tooooo sensitive. The slightest touch activates the button. You can't touch the side buttons without activating the left button accidently.
This mouse can't be used for BF4 in spite of the great sniper button. Had to buy another mouse replacement.. Can't wait to get it.

Other Thoughts: My hands are rather large and this mouse is too small for a comfortable fit. I like the click on the wheel, that works great.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming mouse

Pros: -Solid
-Responsive
-Instantly usable (at least in Win 7)
-Tunable weights
-LONG braided cord with solid connector
-Newer style optics that work on almost anything (even black shiny glass desks)
-On the fly sensitivity adjustment
-"Snipe" button

Cons: Uh, the blue light is a little annoying if you sleep with the PC on?

Can't map sniper button or sensitivity buttons as 6/7/8th buttons. (5 buttons are programmable, left/center/right and 2 small ones over your thumb. Sniper and the 2 sensitivity buttons are not)

Scroll wheel is stiff (conversely, you can say it's responsive and precise, just a matter of viewpoint. It certainly works without flaw, and the well defined "notches" makes it easy to change weapons on the fly.)

(Buttons do work as described, so not losing any eggs. Light and scroll wheel are not detractors, just worth noting).

Other Thoughts: Been a PC gamer for about 15 years, and have tried dozens of different input devices, including many high end mice. And low end mice. And everything in-between.

This thing is impressive. Build quality is excellent, you know this isn't some generic plastic throwaway. Aluminum chassis, thick textured plastic, braided cord with solid connections, etc. Tracks with no issues or lag. Clicks are precise and well weighted. Buttons are well positioned (at least for my 6ft frame and average hands). Works on any surface I tried without issue (currently on a 3M stick-on mousepad, which is also highly recommended). Sensitivity adjustment is instant, noticeable, useful, and works in every game and program I've tried. Sniper button is a cool feature, but it doesn't work in all games (although, it does in most, right out of the box). It's a nice thing for Battlefield, it's next to useless for some other games (TF2 for instance). As someone who has never had this luxury, I find myself ignoring it most of the time.

Unlike some cheaper mice and almost all wireless, even under heavy, fast, and high sensitivity. use, it NEVER EVER JITTERS. It's silky smooth and precise no matter what. The little pause some mice (especially wireless ones) have while playing an FPS is crippling.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it

Pros: I have never felt such a smooth moving cursor "crosshair" "reticle" no matter if its set to fast or slow. Aiming in games is very precise! I am very happy to add another Corsair item to my PC setup. Sniper button is not too hard to reach and can be assigned to other functions which is handy if you play a game where you do not snipe or don't care to snipe. I did not need to remove any weight, its perfect for me. The mousewheel is wide and firm, you wont accidently scroll while using "mouse 3" in game. Using the scroll is nice and firm so you wont over scroll, nice for games or web browsing. I love the gritty finish. It will not slip out of your hands. The software is better than most "way better than Logitech". You can assign any key or command you want to any button. Solid mouse, does not feel or sound cheap like plastic mice. The wire is braided so it will not snag or feel like it catching if it rubs the edge of my desk, that means nothing to throw off my aim.

Cons: None I can think of. I wish I would have bought this sooner.

Other Thoughts: Blows the Logitech mice in the same price bracket away! I will buy this mouse or other Corsair mice like it in the future.

1 out of 5 eggsNon-existent tech support

Pros: This mouse feels great in my hand. It has a nice weight and buttons are easy to reach. The cord is braided and feels sturdy.

Cons: Installing drivers disables the buttons and the sensitivity goes to almost zero. No response from tech support.

Other Thoughts: I had really high hopes for this mouse. It fits my hand well and buttons are nicely placed. The aluminum body and weight are just right for me. I worked fine when I plugged it in, but as soon as I installed the latest drivers, the buttons stopped responding and the mouse sensitivity went to zero. The only way to contact their so-called tech support is by email, which they have not replied to. This is going back since the company doesn't have competent staff to meet customers' needs.
