4 out of 5 eggsCorsair Vengeance Gaming mouse

Pros: Great ergonomic fit to my large hands. All buttons are within great reach with easy cradle grip and resting pad. Roller wheel is smooth and textured feel. The wrapped usb cord is excellent for wear and tare. Easy clicking and great tracking.

Cons: Take some time to adjust the the sniper thumb button, but once you its a great advantage.

2 out of 5 eggsNice. . . If only used for gaming.

Pros: Sniper button
DPI adjuster
Weights built in

Cons: Middle button stiff
Cursor "freaks out" every now and then
doesn't feel smooth when doing precision work
sides are terrible for sweat

Other Thoughts: I got this mouse a few months back to replace a logitech mouse that just wasn't cutting it for me. The reviews said it was really good for gaming and 3D work. Well to my surprise, it works fine for gaming but sucks for 3D work.

Not only does the mouse cursor "freak out" every now and then when doing precision work, but the mouse its self doesn't feel good to use at times especially during slow movement. I've even replaced my mouse pad thinking that was the problem but that didn't solve anything. Plus this mouse reminds me why I don't like cords. There are times I feel like I am fighting the cord which adds to an already terrible and frustrating experience.

I would not recommend this to anyone outside of gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsWOW this mouse is special

Pros: This Mouse is something special. Smooth and unbelievable accuracy. It may be the best built mouse I have ever used.
I have been using nothing but RAZER for approx. 9 years and they don't compare to this mouse. I have owned 5 Deathadders an Orobouros and 2 Imperator's

Cons: I would say the only con is that I bought this because someone said it was larger than normal and it is normal size. I wanted a large mouse. err an EXTRA Large mouse and this is no larger than a Razer.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Mouse

Pros: Excellent mouse. I purchased one of these to have more comfort and precision for CAD work in the office.

Quiet yet and precise clicks.
Excellent build quality overall
Aluminum bottom
Soft touch top and grippy sides.
It fits my medium sized hand very well.
Software works as it should.

Very responsive. Went from optical to this laser and there was a big difference in precision.

Cons: The back where your palm rests could be a little wider.

Other Thoughts: Bought this 4 months ago and liked is so much I bought another for my home computer!

I leave all 3 weights in it as I like the weight.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Looks, Feels and works great no issues in the quality. Braided cable adds to the feeling of sturdyness. Very precise and accurate optical device, DPI on the fly works perfectly. The sniper button works great in FPS games

2 out of 5 eggsBroke a few months later randomly

Pros: Was nice while it lasted
Precision aim button was good

Cons: Broke after only a few months for no apparent reason. Should not happen for that kind of money. Could not be returned either.

4 out of 5 eggs4 out of 5

Pros: -Adjustable weight

-DPI buttons bring the advantage of having mouse sensitivity custom fit to each player

-Thorough Interface for programming

Cons: -Ergonomically bigger than expected

-DPI switching mid-game requires "taking fingers off the trigger"

-"Sniper Button" is too far out to be reached by my thumb without placing my hand in an unfamiliar position. (could just be me. still a con though)

Other Thoughts: For the deal i got on it, it definitely blows the Razer Death Adder i had out of the water. The Interface for the hotkeys was confusing at first but a quick tutorial on how to use it cleared that right up. the DPI and hotkey profiles make switching between games a little smoother considering i don't have to reprogram it every time too. the sniper button is also a cool concept but i've only found it helpful in Payday 1&2 and the ArmA series, otherwise having smooth mouse control isn't hard. the only reason i give it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it's ergonomically designed for someone with a meaty hand. i mean, come on. not every gamer out there is a fat 40 year old with meaty hands. it's a serious challenge to have to re-position my hand in order to reach the sniper button while in a quick-paced FPS. Good product, good software to go with it too.

4 out of 5 eggsMore Customization Than Expected

Pros: 50-8200 dpi adjustability over three presets and the "Sniper" button. At first, the program looks as though each preset is infinitely adjustable, but they're really adjustable in 50 dpi increments.
Nice texture, solid feel, looks great.
Haven't messed with the weights yet, but the ability to swap them out is a handy feature.
Light, yet defined clicks.
Adjustable lift height.
Ability to turn the ambient lighting on or off.

Cons: None really. I've read bad things about the software, but haven't had any issues with it. Downloaded and installed just fine.

Coming from a wider MS Sidewinder, it feels slightly cramped to me, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Lights up blue? (The rest of my rig has red lighting, the Sidewinder Mouse fit in perfectly.)

Other Thoughts: My old MS Sidewinder Laser Gaming Mouse (HKA-00001, similar to the X5) finally began to lose its left-click effectiveness after five years of use (including many click-happy rounds of Plants Vs Zombies). Considering that particular model is discontinued, and I wasn't keen on buying a used one, I decided to go with this Corsair M65. Has all the features I wanted without too many extra buttons that'd just get in my way.

Considering my Sidewinder mouse maxed out at 2000 dpi, this Corsair is a big step up in the speed department. With a flick of the wrist I can snap the mouse from corner to corner across two screens. That'll take some getting used to.
