3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good weight, comfortable, liked the sniper button.

Cons: I didn't like the cable braid that would hang on my desk. The sniper button is in a slightly odd position. The scroll wheel broke after 2 years.

Other Thoughts: I was disappointed that after only 2 years the scroll wheel broke, so I threw it away and plugged in my 8 year old Logitech MX 518, and it still works like a champ.

5 out of 5 eggsOH MY!

Pros: I did not believe my friend when he told me about this mouse and the reviews it got at first,I had to go and check it out myself. I decided to purchase this this mouse because I needed something better than the logitech mini i had purchased 3 years ago at a wal-mar because I just needed one. Well after purchasing this mouse my friend says "Congratulations now you own the mouse that I own!" I thought he was looking to purchase one for the first time not another one! lol pros, weighty, solid build, cool lights, smooth texture when moving around, no graininess.

Cons: cannot find any at this moment!

Other Thoughts: spend the oney and grab this for yourself, when you plug it in you will understand!

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome Mouse With a Cheap Scroll Wheel Controller

Pros: Silky smooth , (mostly) durable, feels good in hand

Cons: I've had this one and its predecessor. The scroll wheel controller on both wore out well before anything else on the mouse.

Other Thoughts: I know that Corsair makes very good quality hardware. I also know that I'm far from the only one who has had the scroll function prematurely fail on a Corsair mouse. I'm really surprised they haven't addressed this problem. They could redesign the scrolling mechanism to put less stress on the scrolling actuator. They could also have a chat with the company that supplies the scroll wheel controllers about quality control, or switch to a vendor with a higher MTBF rating. I haven't had a single problem with any other Corsair product, but I can't in good conscience recommend a Corsair mouse until the scroll wheel problem has been addressed.

5 out of 5 eggsDurable

Pros: High DPI
Good construction
(It's a mouse...)

Cons: The software is a little weird but gets the job done

Other Thoughts: I got this mouse because I had a.. well I've had MANY Logitech G500's and all of their left/right clickers stop responding or registered double clicks. Logitech replaced all of them for free, but this still is quite a hassle I decided to find a new mouse with high DPI, a DPI switch (cuz helicopter), and thumb buttons. This mouse satisfied all those requirements and so I bought it, she's a bit more than a year old and still holding strong. I would recommend this mouse to anybody that want's a durable high performance mouse.

1 out of 5 eggsInferior mouse

Pros: Ever since I got this I regretted getting it unfortunately it was past return policy.
No real pro's.

Cons: Bad sensor, any flex or change in surface will make it less accurate. Constantly messes up during game play.
Bad placement of buttons (specially the sniper button
Inferior warranty
Bad Wheel/clicking. Wheel is known to be faulty (so much so it's a option for defects in the warranty form).

Other Thoughts: Poorly designed, was used to replace an older Logitech gaming mouse that performed way better than this Corsair M65.
Last time I buy Corsair for anything more than cases.

1 out of 5 eggsCorsair=bad customer service

Pros: Mouse feels nice and is made with metal
Button to slow the mouse down when it decides to go out of control.

Cons: A bit to wide, for someone with large hands
Terrible scroll wheel that feels extremely mushy
Sniper button in an awkward spot
Cursor would occasionally jump and become jittery
Died literally 1 month after warranty

Other Thoughts: I had an M60 mouse that died almost exactly one month after warranty. Corsair was not willing to replace it (nor did I expect them too) but instead they made up some lie and told me that my purchase date was different than what it said on my receipt... unbelievable.
Terrible customer service. I absolutely will never buy anything with Corsair written on it again.

What kind of $60 mouse has a 2 year life expectancy?

4 out of 5 eggsGood FPS gaming mouse

Pros: Lots of resolution options and programmable buttons. Really precise tracking. Sniper button is a bonus. Scroll wheel feels good; not too loose. Nice matte finish; not a fingerprint magnet. Slides easily on the mouse pad. Comfortable in my fairly large hands. Greatly increased accuracy in shooters over standard optical mouse.

Cons: Weights fell out and would not stay in at all. Had to glue them in place to stay and will not be able to switch them out now. Not happy.

The two thumb buttons above the Sniper button are easy to hit accidentally, especially while trying to pick up the mouse.

Other Thoughts: This mouse has survived an accidental swimming experience. Was very surprised when it continued to work after full submersion in a bowl of water. Hung it up for three days to air dry after Windows immediately stopped recognizing it as a device. Working fine now. :D

Wish it had more programmable LED options, like other mice in this price range and cheaper, but it is not worth taking an egg off for. You can always get the RGB version if you are willing to pay the premium.
