2 out of 5 eggsGreat hardware, Terrible software

Pros: High quality construction

Excellent price to performance ratio

Cons: Horrible software

Firmware bricks M65.

Little to no help on corsair forums and complete lack of FAQ for this product.

Other Thoughts: I've used this mouse for a few months on two different systems (z87 and z97). I managed to upgrade the firmware the first time around after 2 hours of scrolling through forums. Second time around I wasn't as fortunate. The firmware bricked the mouse and now it's dead. I wasted hours trying to get it to work, when I couldn't been playing games. This is a very common problem with Corsair accessories. Do a google search and see for yourself. I recommend Razer products as the hardware quality and software can't be matched. I've never had a problem once over the years.

2 out of 5 eggsI cannot recommend any mouse from Corsair, unless you plan on replacing it in 2 years.

Pros: It works. The sniper button helps alot for having that knife shortcut in BF4. The software is alright, it does offer alot of features, like sensitivity reduction or increase when the sniper button is compressed.

Cons: I have this mouse for 2 years and 2 months. So far. The first M60 was replaced when the sniper button stopped functioning. This was a year ago. They sent me a RMA M65 as a replacement.

Now. A year later. The middle click is not working correctly. I have tried blowing into it and that does help, but it does not stay functioning long after.

I have talked to reps at Corsair and they have a policy about refunding or replacing their products outside of the 2 year warranty. So I am stuck with a mouse that does not have a functioning middle click.

Other Thoughts: Even without the middle click. Gaming is still fun with it. Although. I use the same mouse for 3D apps like Max and Maya for work. The middle click is very important to navigate in these packages. So now, I am disappointed with Corsair mice. I have other Corsair products like a PSU that has never caused problems.

So I won't recommend that anybody use Corsair mice. Unless you plan on replacing it after the 2 year warranty.

4 out of 5 eggspretty solid

Pros: -aluminum unibody
-super smooth gliding
-big and comfortable (i have large hands)
-braided cable is always nice

Cons: -mouse wheel: makes kind of a screeching sound. Has since day 1. its also incredibly sensitive. Dont know how many times ive been gaming and accidentally switched weapons, or zoomed in, or whatever because I accidentally breathed on the wheel

-starting to rust - after about 6-7 months a small amount of rust began appearing on the metal. the bottom of the mouse is perfect, but the hole where the wheel sits, and the wheel supports have just a few spots of rust.

-edges of thumb side and pinky side get really dirty. About once a week I have to take a a credit card or something thin and stiff and scrap off hand gunk. this might just be me, but these two edges just attract it like a magnet. Never had a mouse do that on me before.

-sniper button is really cool, but after a year its somewhat loose now. I can wiggle it back and forth and it no longer has a definite press. The button kinda moves and your dpi changes.

Other Thoughts: Over all I decent mouse. I've really enjoyed using it. It was fairly cheap and has held up to a lot of gaming, but its starting to go. I've used it for over a year now, and have grown accustomed to it, but the mouse wheel still drives me insane nationalistically. Thats the biggest flaw. The adjustable weights were a cool thought, but I never touched them.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Comfortable and weight is adjustable. The pointer is accurate and responsive. The cord is also nicely breaded so it can take a little rubbing over and around table corners.

Cons: The 2 main buttons are super sensitive. With just my natural grip I click the right button without even thinking of it. I've had to re-adjust my grip a little to fix it and I'm good now. Its not a issue during gaming because I hold the mouse more forward to reach the sniper button and forward and back buttons easier. But during web browsing or just moving through programs I right click all the time.

Other Thoughts: I like the mouse alot the wheel feels good and the size is right for my medium size hands.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful!

Pros: Great tracking

Lots of features

Settings save to onboard memory

Good aesthetics, can fit a clean, understated desk setup, or an xXx_Le3t_Gam3r_xXx setup. Would like the corsair logo to be lit similar to the H100i's though.

Most of all - amazing build. It has a great soft-touch coating (which is a little fingerprint prone, so you dorito fingered folks may not like it), and has an aluminum frame.

Cons: Sniper button is a little odd to use.

Placement of the two side buttons, even with my dinky elf hands I hit them on accident.

Other Thoughts: Before having this mouse, I used a very popular mouse from a manufacturer that like the colors black and green. The mouse was great, but felt like it was the cheapest thing in existence. The M65 is an overall solid mouse. I'm hoping Corsair releases a wireless version sometime in the future if they haven't already.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than my R.A.T. 5

Pros: - Plays smooth in games
- The Sniper button is awesome
- VERY comfortable

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Although I love both of my mice, I like this better than my RAT 5 which also has a sniper button.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice feel, much better than my previous Razor mouse.

Cons: Not the best mouse for RPG style gaming due to lack of usable buttons.

Other Thoughts: I play both FPS and RPG games, I'm still liking this mouse.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: Looks cool. Works.

Cons: The surface texture of the mouse is rough like sandpaper. It is an odd feeling and makes it uncomfortable to use.

Other Thoughts: Bought this mouse for its button options and accuracy. But playing mainly Eve Online I have found little use for the bulls eye button. However, the sand paper texture of the surface is uncomfortable so I use a Microsoft mouse instead in parallel with this one most of the time.

5 out of 5 eggsGood mouse

Pros: Good mouse

Cons: Could be Heavier ( my evga torq I would take over this for weight and slim factor ), the thumb rest can get a bit akward at times. The sniper button is disabled, no clue really what to use it for, but I suppose its a decent idea. I don't like it though..... overall not sure if it fits my hybrid hand, its a bit wide, but it is comfortable , maybe I am just spoiled but I am wishing it was adjustable like the evga torq :x

Other Thoughts: Cant comment on longevity because I have only owned it a few weeks, but I am happy with overall build quality and feel, it is not perfect for what I need , and can feel a bit akward in my hand, overall it seems like a great mouse, the girlfriend will get used to it ;)

1 out of 5 eggsMisleading

Pros: Looks cool.

Cons: Says 8 buttons, but it really is only a 5 button mouse. 3 of the buttons are fixed by software and can not be changed. 2 of them switch mouse modes and the 3rd is a 'sniper' button. If you're buying this for extra gaming buttons don't bother.

I have large hands and this mouse is very awkward to use. Between the lack of buttons and the awkward positioning I gave it to my wife and went back to a normal, $20 Microsoft mouse.
