3 out of 5 eggsNot a Fan

Pros: Does what a mouse should

Cons: Probably better if you use it for your desktop rather than your lap top. It's pretty heavy and whenever I move in anyway, it promptly falls on the floor. I know it's my fault for being clumsy, but I never had a mouse drop on the floor as much as this one. The little weights on the bottom promptly broke off after a few drops, then pieces of the plastic. Now the right mouse button doesn't work.

I didn't find it particularly comfortable either, my less expensive Logitec feels much more ergonomic.

4 out of 5 eggsWork on MacOS

Pros: Fairly comfortable, wired (fast), smooth, nice button feel. Works on a Mac.

Cons: Could be more comfortable. No tile (side scroll) on the wheel.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for use on a mac knowing fully that it wasn't "supported." I was looking for a new, affordable wired mouse with high resolution for professional graphics work. I was willing to forgo some button mapping as a trade-off.

However, I found that it worked better than I had imagined. The dpi adjustment works regardless of having drivers installed or not. And by using steermouse, I'm able to program the other buttons. This is pretty much a win, all things considered.

I'm coming from many, many years of owning MX revolutions, but I've had it with logitech. They have terrible support, poor drivers, and a bunch of features that look nice on the box but aren't so great in real-life application.

The only real con for me is that the rear falls off too steeply for my hands. It isn't necessarily a factor of the mouse being small as much as what I'm used to in a mouse designed for long computer sessions.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Large Mouse

Pros: Good, solid mouse that is great for people with large hands or who like heavy mice.

Good extra button positions.

Cons: First mouse of this type was refurbished and arrived with a software error that updating could not fix, but replacement was fast.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you understand the size and weight of this mouse before purchase.

2 out of 5 eggsfor casual use

Pros: -the adjustable DPI.
-The sniper button.
-The solid frame.
-Adjustable weight

Cons: ive been using this mouse for a little less than a month now and the side grips are already wearing off and its now becoming shiny plastic.
First of, ive brought this mouse to replace my G9 and : i have large hands, i lift my mouse a lot (i have multiple display) and im claw gripping it.
- Side buttons don't seem to be adjusted properly. Snipe button is very hard to press and end up messing your aim. it make it pretty bad in a pvp environment.
- Even without the weights, the mouse is pretty heavy
- The right side of the mouse has no "border" to help lift the mouse. its pretty much a flat vertical surface. How easily the mouse is lifted will depend on the surface properties.

The cons mentioned above make this mouse unpleasant to use for competitive gameplay or for long session.

1 out of 5 eggsgreat at first

Pros: has one the best scroll wheels I have ever used
mouse is made out of aluminum will not be breaking on you

Cons: tracks like garbage after a year.
stops tracking randomly all the time
has random acceleration at the worst times
will be switching back to an optical mouse

Other Thoughts: if you are a casual gamer is a pretty good mouse but for anything more than that it's rather disappointing

3 out of 5 eggsIt almost made it to a year

Pros: Good solid mouse, I like the way it feels the all the different ways I can customize it.

Cons: I've had it 9 months and used it daily without an issue up until today. There are two little side buttons above the sniper button, I use one as a PTT button and it came loose today. I've been trying to nudge it back into place but no luck, I think it is broken inside so I'll have to see about that one or two year warranty.

Other Thoughts: Aside from the button breaking it is a good mouse. I would have only taken off one egg if I didn't pay so much for it. When you drop $70 on a mouse it needs to function properly for more than a year. I'll admit the button that broke is used a ton, but still.

1 out of 5 eggsM65 is Garbage

Pros: Feels sturdy.

Cons: The M65 regularly shuts its laser off. This appears to be completely random, and a google search shows I'm not the only person with this problem. More than one firmware update later, and it still does it. USB settings have no apparent affect on this behavior.

Right mouse button is so lite it's virtually impossible to use without regularly right-clicking when you don't mean to.

I could have spent $20 and had a better, more reliable experience. I mean, it's a mouse. I guess I'll see about an RMA, though I expect they'll just want to send me another one of these things.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome and comfortable

Pros: Fits in your right hand like a glove. Buttons are all hair-trigger, so your hand doesn't get tired after a long day of gaming.

Cons: Snipe button is basicly unusable. Its so far up you'll never use it in a firefight.

Other Thoughts: Replaced my previous M65 after owning it for 2.5 years of error-free and glitch free usage, until the mouse wheel started to glitch out. Lasted a long time for the amount of use I put it through!
