5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Gaming Mouse for people with normal-to-large hands

Pros: I have looked for a really comfortable, full-featured gaming mouse for a long time. Most gaming mice seem to be designed for small hands using the "claw" grip...and these tiny gaming mice are a source of frustration for me. The larger mice are sometimes not very well outfitted with extra buttons and features.

The Corsair M95 isn't a huge mouse--I've certainly seen much larger mice--but it is a beautifully normal-sized mouse. You can comfortably use a palm grip. You can also claw, if that's your thing, but the thumb buttons are really designed for palm grip--they fall right into easy reach.

There are a *lot* of buttons on this mouse, mostly clustered around the right thumb. The design looks intimidating, but I found it easy and quick to adjust. It's actually not hard to go straight to the button you want by feel. Some extremely good design work went into this mouse!

The "sniper" function is a welcome feature...I miss this on gaming mice that don't have it.

The ability to have separate DPI settings for x and y axis is a real plus as well--especially in multi-monitor setups, this can simplify your life considerably.

Cons: The mouse isn't cordless, but the cord is very flexible and easy to ignore.

The software is functional but not very intuitive, and must be downloaded from corsair's site.

Other Thoughts: This is, to date, the best mouse I have had the pleasure to use, and far and away one of the most comfortable.

However, it's probably not so great for those with small hands, or those who prefer the "claw" grip. For anyone else, I recommend this mouse without reservation.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming mouse all around

Pros: Had the mouse for over a year, and have had no problems. The sensor isn't the best, but it's good enough for 99% of people, including me. I had doubts the white would stay good looking, but there's no dirt or staining on the white plastic whatsoever. The thumb buttons are well placed, and easy to use. Corsair's software is a bit hard to use for the mapping, but thanks to the onboard memory I don't even have the program installed anymore, and after several OS switches my custom profile and DPI settings are still as they were. Even switching between Windows and Linux, the settings stayed. I wish there was a sixth egg to give this mouse.

Cons: The LEDs can be a bit bright if you leave your computer on at night, but they're easy to turn off in the software

Pros: Its a Mouse

Cons: Will Fall Apart, Scroll Wheel, Slippery Plastic, Made in China, User Interface

Other Thoughts: Let me start on by saying when I first received this mouse I liked it.
Not worth $80 but not bad.. The slick plastic design is no good esp if your hands sweat. The scroll wheel is complete garbage.
On with my story.. After my first year of owning this "gaming Mouse"
The scroll wheel stopped scrolling all together. It would spin but nothing would happen. I Googled the issue and turns out it is very common. Contact RMA when requesting my ticket its even a special drop down "Scroll Wheel Doesn't Work".. The RMA process sucked as always but I did receive a new mouse brand new in package I was happy about this "wasn't refurbished". The brand new package says on it 2 year warranty as they all do. So I assumed I have a brand new mouse I have a brand new warranty. You know what they say about assuming. Another year goes buy with my brand new mouse. And BOOM stops working! Will not power on just dead! Not surprised, contact RMA again my original warranty carries over to a brand new mouse and they do not have a repair program, Nothing they can do for me??? Wow..

Wont go into detail on the Vengeance 2000 Wireless headset, but that also fell apart after a year and headset warranties are only good for one year!

So I am down a headset and a mouse!!

I don't know if I'm more upset about them not doing anything or the fact there products fall apart after a year. Prior to this experience I "assumed" Corsair was a reliable brand.

Will never buy a Corsair product again and I advise all the same.

1 out of 5 eggsSub Standard

Pros: Looks beautiful.
Corsair is a great brand.
Feels great in my hand.
Matches my Corsair Carbide 780T case.

Cons: The scroll wheel is stiff and looks as tho its not attached correctly. As I scroll, the wheel wobbles side to side and sometimes it clicks down while scrolling, and half the time the wheel stays pressed down until it gets tapped lightly or rotated some more. This makes the mouse nearly unusable for me(anyone). I feel like this mouse is moments away from being slammed into a wall.
This was a disappointment mainly because I am pretty unwilling to go a month without a mouse because of a RMA. But I guess I am forced to.Ugh.
I want Corsair to make this right with me. I don't have the slip that came with the package so I cant RMA through Newegg.
Please help me out corsair.

Other Thoughts: I was a Corsair fanboy, but this purchase might just change that.

4 out of 5 eggsmixed

Pros: 8200 dpi, very smooth feal
mouse is very comfortable.
like the weight , it's just right
corsair m95 software is very easy to use
multiple button settings, dpi tuning.

Cons: the programmable thumb buttons are poorly spaced. the sniper key is to far away and others just poorly positioned.
I love the design and idea just a few changes for the button layout and I would give 5 stars, coming from a logitek g600 which has been my favorite even for fps. I will give it time and give further feedback

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

Pros: Quality build and design. Sleek, great to look at; feels great in my hand. When you move the mouse and stop so does the cursor! Big deal for me as my old Kova plus would wiggle around - still like that mouse but boy was this an upgrade! Glossy finish stays clean despite what you may think! Matte finish on right pinky is a nice touch giving you extra feel for grip and control. I researched a bit on several reviews before buying. I was actually in the market for the M65 but this was on sale at my local brick and mortar retailer and I had to take a closer look at the M95 and it sure delivers! 8200 dpi is way too fast for me but is good to have and I feel ready for 4k monitors then if I go that direction any time soon! Overall it just feels like a quality mouse. I'm 5'7 and don't have the biggest hands but it fits me just perfect! I thought it would be a bit too big but that hasn't been the case. I haven't owned too many mouses to make this claim mean much but it is the best mouse I've owned ever! I highly would recommend this!

Cons: None for me. It does NOT have adjustable weights so if you feel that it's a bit heavy there's no solution for you here. For me this baby just glides perfectly and feels solid and great!

Other Thoughts: If you are a bigger person with larger hands the fatter curve may serve you well but hold back your excitement a bit because for a guy like me whose a little smaller than average it seems to fit just perfect so don't expect it to be a great fit if you've got really large hands but I don't see it faring any worse than most any other mouse out there that isn't over sized.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse

Pros: Love the look - matches my CM Scout II case!

The software allows you to turn off the lights on the mouse, which is nice as they're a bit too much. No issues with the settings or use of it so far.

There is some good weight to the mouse, and I love the brushed aluminium base

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I'm a bit apprehensive of the "soft pads" that are on the bottom of the mouse. I feel like over time they will start to fail, but I will update my review after a few months if they don't hold up. Also, the model number isn't written anywhere on the mouse which I find odd.

4 out of 5 eggsAlmost perfect

Pros: I purchased this mouse to finally replace my old and discontinued Microsoft mouse. The white finish looks spectacular, the aluminum chassis design is suburb, and it feels like a really high quality design.

Cons: The only problem I have with this mouse is the right side finish. The material is not polished and designed for finger grip during those hot and sweaty long hours of gaming. However, that material finish feels soooooooooooo weird! I can't explain what's wrong with pinpoint accuracy. It just feels inconsistent on the ring and pinky finger tips.

Other Thoughts: Great mouse, I just wish it was polished on all sides. Or, the matte finish on the right side needs to be replaced with some other surface material.
