3 out of 5 eggsDoesn't last long

Pros: It's comfortable once you get used to it, responsive, good for big hands, and you can change the DPI quickly.

Cons: It didn't last nearly as long as I expected. I was hoping for a mouse that would last me for at least a year, but after about 7 months, the scroll wheel became loose and stopped working. Shortly afterwards, the clickers jammed, and then it started moving my cursor all over the screen randomly.

Other Thoughts: I really liked it up until it stopped working. It worked well for League of Legends, which is what I mainly used it for.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Poor Construction. Stay away.

Pros: Good for very large hands.

Cons: Very poor construction. Middle mouse button would not scroll after three days. Cord became crimped and impaired function completely after two weeks.

Other Thoughts: The size may be too large for most people. I have very large hands. Even though it fit my hands, it still required different grip placement to be able to reach the 4th and 5th button -- buttons that are on a single tab, making them somewhat hard to distinguish from each other if you don't "think" about it.

The cord is very rigid. My desk is 4 inches away from a wall, yet the cord still crimped hard enough to make the mouse fail.

I gave one egg because I had to. I would have given half an egg if possible. Stay away.

1 out of 5 eggsNOPE

Pros: 1)Great feel to the mouse once you get past the third finger rest (ring finger)
2)Quick DPI changout when gaming.

Cons: Mouse completely died after about 33 days. Problem must have gotten pinched somehow. you can move the wire to extend out whichever side you deem comfortable. NO fixing it. already took it apart (since warranty expired anyways). nothing i can do. Would order another one. but for the PRICE you pay, and the warranty offered. I'd rather not take that risk. DISAPPOINTMENT

Other Thoughts: Would have been a good mouse to use for a few years. Will be taking business elsewhere.
Was caught by surprise that a product from Corsair would die out so easily.

5 out of 5 eggsMy new favorite mouse

Pros: I was looking for a mouse with a pinky rest, as it really bothers me when my pinky drags along as I'm working. Before, I had a Microsoft X5 which did the trick as long as I had my middle finger on the scroll and my ring finger on the right button (which is a surprisingly comfortable way to use a mouse!)

This mouse took a little getting used to, but I absolutely love it now. Great weight for me, very responsive, a lot of options for sensitivity settings, and my hand still feels good after hours of gaming.

For having big hands, this mouse is awesome. It lets me rest my entire hand on the mouse and it feels comfortable at that.

Also, the braided cord and options for cord placement is a great feature. If I ever brought it to work it would be very handy to change the position of the cord.

Cons: My only problem with this mouse is that it is not the sexiest mouse in the world. Not ugly per se... but it doesn't make anybody say "wow, that's a sexy mouse!" I think the use of lighting could have been better.

Not crazy about the logo either.

Other Thoughts: It's awesome! Love this mouse! I'm not sure why there are so many poor reviews knocking this. But I am definitely glad that I didn't listen to the reviews and tested for myself.

If being able to rest your fingers on the mouse instead of dragging them is important, and you have pretty big hands, this is the PERFECT mouse.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap

Pros: Not aware of any... Well it does have nice packaging..

Cons: Not of Corsair quality, mouse freezes randomly--tested on 2 PC's. Feels cheap and too light for its size. Hope they drop this product quick.

Other Thoughts: This mouse is massive!

4 out of 5 eggsits pretty good

Pros: Big, fits hand well, works well

Cons: I wish that the ring finger was a button. That is why i bought it.
The thumb mouse buttons feel cheap compared to my G5
also it is not as heavy or dense as my g5
I wish you could set the dpi for each setting manually
the thumb buttons are little bit to far foward

Other Thoughts: over all nice mouse, not perfect
why dont they make mouses with 3 buttons
and i would also like buttons that didnt make clicky noise

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Mouse

Pros: Very comfortable and large mouse for any use, the two buttons on the side are very easy reach.
Software is easy to use, and the red LEDs in it just look amazing.
Being able to adjust the DPI at any time is very useful.

Cons: Only two extra buttons from a normal mouse

1 out of 5 eggsFirst item ever returned to Newegg

Pros: 5 Buttons
Mouse wheel is responsive and click-able without scrolling
Mouse is VERY large, you will need big hands to use
Adjustable cord location

Cons: Software is useless, windows mouse properties has more settings.
With all weights installed mouse is still to light
Can not disable red glow
Buttons feel cheap
Awkward button positions
Must cycle between all DPI levels to decrees DPI one level
Mouse wheel has a lot of side to side play without side scrolling

Other Thoughts: The latest version of the software from Corsairs website (2.0) looks like a visual basic horror show. There is only one DPI slider visible and it does not seem to change anything on the mouse. The only options in the software that seem to work are button mappings, but with only 5 buttons available there isn't any reason to change them.

The finger rest to the right of the right click button is easily mistaken for the actual location of the right mouse button.

I have fairly large hands and still have to adjust my mouse grip to hit the forward most side button. The DPI button is in such an awkward location there is no way to press it without removing your hand completely, which you will need to do to check the DPI level.

After having a Corsair headset fall apart for no reason and seeing how cheap this mouse and software are this will be the last Corsair accessory I buy.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Very comfortable
- Great accuracy
- Adjustable weights
- Smooth mouse wheel
- Excellent design with solid red LED's

Cons: - TERRIBLE software
- "paint" rubs away fairly quickly
- 3rd (far) side button hard to reach

Other Thoughts: I decided to play guinea pig on this new product and I have to say I'm very pleased. It feels good in your hand and has a nice texture to it. That said however, there are marks where I lay my hands and I've only used this mouse for a few days at most. The DPI adjustment is average and therefore is not bad. I do have one main complaint, one that I feel is inexcusable. The software. Oh man, the software is horrendous. The user interface is overlapping the accept buttons and I can't save any of my changes. Permanently making the mouse's max default DPI of 5000 which is not in any way comfortable for me. Thankfully, the setting for 1800 is easy to get used to but that leaves the next 2 options untouched. That is the only reason the score is a 4 otherwise I'd grant it an easy 5. Also as a side note: The only reason I cant reach the 3rd side button is how I rest my hand on the mouse so that factor varies on how you play.
