5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse for the price!

Pros: Great mouse, love the feel of it.
Great shape for playing games, coming from a Razer Deathadder Chroma, I was surprised that within 15 min I was already getting used to it.
Silent clicking, can't hear it when I play games.

Cons: The mouse has only 3 dpi settings, and at first I couldn't find the right dpi setting for me, but no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I got it for 30$, on sale for black friday, glad I made the purchase.
Suggestion for Corsair on this mouse:
Can the side buttons be a bit bigger? Im finding that i'm having trouble getting to them fast.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Mouse Ever

Pros: This is quite literally the finest mouse I have ever had the pleasure to use and own. It glides smoothly across my mouse pad, it is EXTREMELY responsive, and it is what I consider to be the perfect weight. I do lots of gaming, and work in photoshop, gimp, etc. this mouse has never failed me, it always remained comfortable in my rather small hands even after many continuous hours of use. I rarely found myself switching dpi or changing the weight, but those are options if you need them. Any time that I would have a friend at my computer, they would always comment about how my mouse is the best one, and how they wish that they had one. I have recommended it to at least 10 of my closest friends in similar situations as me as far as using a computer mouse. I figure now I should recommend the M45 to anyone, not just my friends. So, if you are torn between this mouse and any razer or logitech mouse, this is one. Other mice are overrated, but this mouse completely deserves its rating.

Cons: The side buttons for going back and forward in page history were a little sensitive to me, and I found myself occasionally hitting them by accident. BUT, take this con with a grain of sand because no one uses those anyway.

Other Thoughts: Let me just talk about Corsair's customer service. They have the best customer service of any company I have ever had to work with. Sadly, after a year of heavy use, my mouse gave up on me, and a few weeks later, a power supply from Corsair exploded and shot sparks out of the back. I did not have the money to send the mouse to Corsair, but they approved me for an RMA that I hadn't even requested yet. When the PSU gave in, I requested one promptly, and they responded within 2 hours. I sent the PSU the next day, and 2 days later they shipped it back. I am so pleased that a company as big as Corsair can pay as much attention as they do to their customers, they must value them highly. Thank you, Corsair.

2 out of 5 eggsUgh....

Pros: The DPI adjustments are easy to change. The forward/reverse button on side are easy to each. DPI settings and software is easy to use.

Cons: The fit of this mouse is terrible. I have "piano" fingers, and this mouse puts my hands in a terrible position. The buttons and especially the middle mouse button require a ton of force to push down, and it's required when browsing online and clicking links. I usually MMB links to open a new window, and often the wheel rotates because your hand is placed so far back, it's rotated more than depressed. I switched back to a $25 non-gaming Logitech mouse and it's much better.

The fit on the hand is also extreme awkward. It requires you to almost place your hand on the entire mouse, more than you would with a palm grip -- which the Logitech mouse is.

I can't say anything good about this mouse besides the few pros I listed above.

Avoid this mouse unless you have massive hands and extremely long fingers.

Other Thoughts: The software is easy to use and that's about the only redeeming factor for this mouse. I'm going to order a new mouse and attempt to sell this mouse.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very, very well suited to my medium sized hands. Side buttons are easy to use, and the mousewheel has a very nice weight and grip to it. Cord is nice and lengthy.

Cons: The weight difference between all weights in and no wights in is rather low, in my opinion, but this is not really so bad.

Other Thoughts: Surface seems to be marred easily, though this is only visual. I have no problem with this as my hand's mostly covering this up.

5 out of 5 eggsWould Recommend

Pros: This is the best mouse I have used so far for FPS. Previous to this mouse I owned the razer deathadder, and the Razer ouroboros. I like this mouse significantly more than both of the others. the sensor seems very precise relative to the other mice i have used. The ergonomics felt strange when i first got it, but it feels completely natural now. If i get decent longevity out of this mouse i will be a repeat buyer without a doubt. I would recommend this m45 vs corsair's higher end mice because the optical sensor on this one is better than the laser sensors on the others. in my opinion.

Cons: would like a wireless option. I wou

3 out of 5 eggsToo small.

Pros: 1. Very accurate optical sensor.

2. High quality, premium feel.

Cons: 1. Side buttons seem to small and fragile and I find myself not using them all that often.

2. The mouse is way to small for me personally, I like to palm grip mice but even when trying to claw this mouse it just isn't comfortable for me. I find my pinkie and ring fingers sliding off the mouse frequently, and my ring and index fingers sit on the edge of the mouse.

Other Thoughts: This IS a good mouse for people with small hands, but I have trouble using the M45 with my slightly larger than average hands.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat I'd Expect, In A Good Way

Pros: - Quick, but accurate.
- Comfortable.
- Weighted and doesn't feel cheap.

I've never owned a Corsair peripheral before, but being familiar with their cases and RAM, I decided to take the dive and try out some of their peripherals they had to offer. I'm not disappointed, and it pairs very nicely with the Corsair Vengeance K70 keyboard.

Cons: - Seems to struggle with accuracy on non-solid-colored platforms. Not an issue for me, but if you prefer not to use a mousepad or have a multi-color one, it might be a problem.
