5 out of 5 eggsDPI buttons are really useful.

Pros: -The DPI buttons are nice for on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment in games.
-The extra back and forward buttons on the left of the mouse are good for extra bindings.
-The Corsair logo lights up and it's SEXY AS HELL.

Cons: -Seems to really be right-handed only, tried holding it with my left and it didn't feel right.
-Scrollwheel is slightly loud if you're scrolling really fast.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks and works great

Pros: Nice weight, feel to the construction, the scroll wheel is satisfying, looks nice too

Cons: Not really any (yet)

Other Thoughts: Im used to the feel of resting my hand on my old mouse the CM storm spawn, but I can probably get used to this one with its different size and shape.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse, fantastic value.

Pros: +Comfortable, study design.
+Tactile satisfying clicking and scrolling.
+3 on-the-fly DPI/CPI settings.
+Braided cable.
+Adjustable weighting.
+Reprogrammable.
+Perfect thumb button placement.
+Excellent sensor.
+Great glide pads, perfect for use with normal mousepads.
+Optimized for FPS's but works well in productivity and other games.

Cons: -Software is a little awkward.
-Middle click (scroll wheel) is a little heavy (I'm happy with it but some might not be).
-A little larger than I anticipated, be sure to check measurements.
-Red lighting can either be off or red. I have a blue keyboard and PC power light so it clashes a little.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this product for anyone who doesn't heavily palm their mouse or who has very large hands. The shape of this mouse lends itself to a lighter palm grip or a claw / fingertip grip. I specifically use a fingertip grip and rest the heel of my palm on my mousepad when not making large movements.

The sensor feels amazing, and I would not recommend getting the more expensive M64 simply because it has a laser sensor when this optical version is available. Tracking is smooth, precise, and accurate. The glide pads on the mouse keep it very stable when performing fast movements, and allow just the right type of friction on a standard mouse-pad.

If I had the money, I'd also like to try out the Logitech G303, but I doubt I'd be significantly more or less happy with it. If that mouse looks more appealing to you, then you'd probably be better off going with it. That said, if you're on the fence about which mouse would be great for you, know that you can't go wrong this with one (unless you palm).

4 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse

Pros: Good mouse for fps mainly - good sensor. Good feel - originally bought to replace Logitech G9 Laser. The G9 still feels better in my hands but the sensor is broken, the M45 is more than usable.

Cons: - smooth surface has become scratched
- finicky middle mouse button, sometimes it releases when held down

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse for the price!

Pros: Great mouse, love the feel of it.
Great shape for playing games, coming from a Razer Deathadder Chroma, I was surprised that within 15 min I was already getting used to it.
Silent clicking, can't hear it when I play games.

Cons: The mouse has only 3 dpi settings, and at first I couldn't find the right dpi setting for me, but no big deal.

Other Thoughts: I got it for 30$, on sale for black friday, glad I made the purchase.
Suggestion for Corsair on this mouse:
Can the side buttons be a bit bigger? Im finding that i'm having trouble getting to them fast.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Mouse Ever

Pros: This is quite literally the finest mouse I have ever had the pleasure to use and own. It glides smoothly across my mouse pad, it is EXTREMELY responsive, and it is what I consider to be the perfect weight. I do lots of gaming, and work in photoshop, gimp, etc. this mouse has never failed me, it always remained comfortable in my rather small hands even after many continuous hours of use. I rarely found myself switching dpi or changing the weight, but those are options if you need them. Any time that I would have a friend at my computer, they would always comment about how my mouse is the best one, and how they wish that they had one. I have recommended it to at least 10 of my closest friends in similar situations as me as far as using a computer mouse. I figure now I should recommend the M45 to anyone, not just my friends. So, if you are torn between this mouse and any razer or logitech mouse, this is one. Other mice are overrated, but this mouse completely deserves its rating.

Cons: The side buttons for going back and forward in page history were a little sensitive to me, and I found myself occasionally hitting them by accident. BUT, take this con with a grain of sand because no one uses those anyway.

Other Thoughts: Let me just talk about Corsair's customer service. They have the best customer service of any company I have ever had to work with. Sadly, after a year of heavy use, my mouse gave up on me, and a few weeks later, a power supply from Corsair exploded and shot sparks out of the back. I did not have the money to send the mouse to Corsair, but they approved me for an RMA that I hadn't even requested yet. When the PSU gave in, I requested one promptly, and they responded within 2 hours. I sent the PSU the next day, and 2 days later they shipped it back. I am so pleased that a company as big as Corsair can pay as much attention as they do to their customers, they must value them highly. Thank you, Corsair.

2 out of 5 eggsUgh....

Pros: The DPI adjustments are easy to change. The forward/reverse button on side are easy to each. DPI settings and software is easy to use.

Cons: The fit of this mouse is terrible. I have "piano" fingers, and this mouse puts my hands in a terrible position. The buttons and especially the middle mouse button require a ton of force to push down, and it's required when browsing online and clicking links. I usually MMB links to open a new window, and often the wheel rotates because your hand is placed so far back, it's rotated more than depressed. I switched back to a $25 non-gaming Logitech mouse and it's much better.

The fit on the hand is also extreme awkward. It requires you to almost place your hand on the entire mouse, more than you would with a palm grip -- which the Logitech mouse is.

I can't say anything good about this mouse besides the few pros I listed above.

Avoid this mouse unless you have massive hands and extremely long fingers.

Other Thoughts: The software is easy to use and that's about the only redeeming factor for this mouse. I'm going to order a new mouse and attempt to sell this mouse.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very, very well suited to my medium sized hands. Side buttons are easy to use, and the mousewheel has a very nice weight and grip to it. Cord is nice and lengthy.

Cons: The weight difference between all weights in and no wights in is rather low, in my opinion, but this is not really so bad.

Other Thoughts: Surface seems to be marred easily, though this is only visual. I have no problem with this as my hand's mostly covering this up.
