Cons: -after almost a year and a half of almost daily use of 3-4 hours, the shiny faux leather on the cups is falling off. Again, nit picky.

Other Thoughts: - Skype calls for testing the mic, other side can hear me perfectly.
- if someone can find any headset for under $100 that doesn't start to get uncomfortable after a few hours, let me know. That said, this one has enough padding to stave it off for a while longer than others.

Pros: The design is amazing, it looks awesome. When you put those on, you can't hear anything around you. It works.

Cons: It is really expensive for what it actually is. The channels are only 2.0, which means it doesn't have any surround sound. The sound quality is mediocre. It doesn't sound better than bad apple earbuds, which really disappointed me. It also feels very fragile, it basically feels like plastic and scotch tape. Also the microphone is **HORRIBLE**. When doing a skype call, my friends can hear me talk, but there is a huge static noise that sounds like a 70s tv, so I always have to turn my mic halfway down in order for the loud static to go away. And it's not my computer's problem, any other mic works very well. And it's not a customer-produced damage as they came like that. Also, the on/off and sound controlling button as bad, they feel very cheap. At least they work, I guess?

Other Thoughts: This is my first corsair headset, and it will be my last.
At the same price of 50-60$ CAD you can get some very better headsets. The Logitech G430 Headset is like 50 million times better than this and it's sold at 60$ on some websites. The Rosewill RHTS-8206 headset is 51$ on newegg canada and it's still better than the hs30. I do not recommend buying the Corsair HS30.

Pros: Really nice for the price, nice comfortable

Cons: Mine came with a cracked ear cup but Corsair replaced it in 3 days with a brand new one.

Pros: Comfortable, nice noise cancellation.

Cons: Speakers crackle, mic does not work in online games. Voice volume in movies, games, and youtube videos is veeeerrry low. Look somewhere else, for your sake.

Pros: Very nice headphones! They seem to be very well built and made of somewhat quality materials. They have okay sound reproduction but cant compare to my hi-fi setup.

Overview: Best cheap ($10-40) headphones, contending with upper class ($40-100) headphones as well

Cons: Are slightly uncomfortable after long periods of using them. Long as in 3 hours+. They aren't noticably uncomfortable while on but once you take them off your ears tingle. Sound quality isnt perfect (but what is for only $29.99).

Other Thoughts: These do not have perfect quality, but nothing does. This is also a very subjective topic because people are biased. I enjoy them for gaming and would use them often as they are more attractive than most and sound just as good if not better. They do however take a period of burn in. When I first got my set I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the sound quality. I kept playing them though (subtracting my head from them though in disgust). It was bad at first. But after around an hour or so of playing music at half volume they came alive. The sound quality completely changed for me and they sounded great!

And now to the comfort-ability factor. They arent great, but for the price I would say they are untouchable. They use some nice padded ear cups and a nice padded head-band. The other reviews exaggerate their effects and I even think they are somewhat comfortable. I cannot however where them for a long period of time (3 hours+).

Cons: Not comfortably for long gaming anything longer then a hour or 2 wearing these starts to hurt the ends of my ears all night gaming isnt comfortable.
Mic is really quite have to have max volume mic and large amount of mic boost for people to hear me.

Other Thoughts: Ehh would rather drop and extra 20-30 bucks to get a better head set but not geting rob for buying them
