They bring the noise...but also the pain
This review is from: Phiaton MS 530 Wireless & Active Noise Cancelling Headphones
Pros: Design, battery life
Cons: Ears hurt after extended use
Other Thoughts: My requirements were extended use (up to 10 hours per day) all on bluetooth so I can move around (connected to PC in home), active noise canceling, and apt-x. The battery life is outstanding, however the battery is not removable, which isn't really that much of an issue since the battery life is very good, although when it runs out in my case I have to wait for charge. I had hopes that these would be the ideal replacement for my Sennheiser MM 550-X's, besting them in the two areas where I think the Senns fall short: battery life and aesthetics. While they have succeeded on both of these points, no more than 4 hours with these on, and my ears were in considerable pain from the constant pressure against the ear. If these were over-the-ear cans they would be, hands-down, the extended use/noise canceling/apt-x winner. The Senns still win because of the over-the-ear form factor despite their much shorter battery life. I rarely even realize their on; they're so comfortable. It's a shame really. I think these could've easily been over-the-ear, and thus still owned by me. The quest continues...
