The Mionix Sargas 900 is made of a durable microfiber cloth material with slightly more friction than coated mousepads. The special microfiber surface counteracts data loss and improves the sensor tracking performance.
The Sargas 900 was built with Mionix's in-house S.Q.A.T. technology which tests the data loss of the surface--many months of testing were carried out to ensure that this cloth pad has an extremely low rate of data loss. The underside is made of a natural rubber offering a firm grip irrespective of the surface under the mousepad or extensive movements. The wide tracking area ensures for long sweeping movements without interruption.
Textured Microfiber Surface
The Sargas 900's smooth textured microfiber surface counteracts data loss and improves sensor tracking performance. The characteristics of an uncoated, semi-rigid mousepad surface gives a smooth controlled friction glide with added agility to all gamers.
Works with Mionix's S.Q.A.T. Technology
The surface of the Mionix Sargas 900 has been engineered to work with the Surface Quality Analyser Tool (S.Q.A.T.) which is built into the Mionix NAOS 5000 gaming mouse (sold separately) and measures the data loss between images of the surface taken by the mouse sensor. The Naos mouse utilizes the Surface Quality Analyzer Tool to measure the tracking quality on a certain surface, ensuring optimal tracking and mousing on most surfaces. The Sargas 900 mousepad is rated 8/10, ensuring a high-quality surface with less lag and more agile mousing.
The Sargas 900 also works with all conventional mice, including LED-optical and laser mice.
Non-Slip Rubber Grip
The non-slip grip with a natural rubber underside provides firm grip irrespective of the surface under the mousepad, giving you reliable response in fast action games. Make quick moves in the heat of the moment with confidence.
The Sargas Range
The uncoated microfiber of the SARGAS range defines the new standard of uncoated mousepads available today. The characteristics of an uncoated mousepad surface gives a smooth controlled friction glide with added agility to all gamers. The SARGAS range comes in three different sizes including the SARGAS 900 deskpad.

5 out of 5 eggsLike Butter for... Miocolate.

Pros: -Size alone is wonderful.
-Ability to move mouse as close to the keyboard, even underneath it, as you can.
-Very reflective surface.
-Works wonderfully with all mice.
-Smooth as butter.
-Feels very well made. High quality.

Cons: -Might be too smooth for some users preference.
-Edges are not stitched like the Razer Goliath so peeling might become a problem in the future, though no issuees or complaints for now.

Other Thoughts: Might be too smooth for some control freaks or newer high DPi users. I wouldn't recommend this for any sort of gaming style that requires pin point accuracy after long swipes or lots of movement.

I use to run a O.G. Razer Naga on a Razer Kabuto and I felt I had a ton of control over exact mouse movements and felt very accurate at 4000 DPi. My Kabuto started to get old and tatters so I switched to the Mionix Sargas 900 after reading tons of reviews, loving the simplicity of the design and overall size. My Kabuto immediately felt like a below average mouse pad. The Mionix pad was so smooth. It also feels wonderful as your wrist may glide across the surface, depending on your grip style.

But because of how smooth it is I had to back down my DPi to 2600 and sometimes I switch to 2000. I'm now using a Razer Naga 2014 and a Steelseries Sensei , don't ask me why I just like to switch depending on the game, and I have the same experience. I play on a much lower DPi and have only recently raised mine back to 4000 for an average setting.

This mousepad is absolutely amazing and the quality is top notch. It just has a huge traction curb. If you require more control I'd check out Razer's Goliath Control mouse pad. It might be a lot more of the feel you're looking for.

2 out of 5 eggsNot really worth the money

Pros: Very nice material and low friction. Love how it fits my desk almost perfectly. Love the color and really does look black.

Cons: Where do I start. I got this mouse pad 3 days ago and it's already tearing where I keep my wrists. The material is already peeling off and I'm probably going to have to replace it with a corsair mousepad or maybe just tape it.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't recommend this mousepad to a friend unless they are in desperate need of a desk mousepad for cheap. It's cheap and it's cheaply made. You get what you pay for.

4 out of 5 eggsBig mouse pad

Pros: Worth the twenty dollars it is on sale. Sticks to glass desk well.

Cons: Slight wrinkles in the front some times like its stretched in the front more than the rest. I prefer the Xtrac xxl pad but i still use the mionix on the second mouse and keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: It's huge. that means you can put it under your KB monitors and everything else and anywhere you move your mouse, you are on your pad. Nice looking, no obnoxious graphics, easy to clean. Mouse pads make a significant difference in the usability of your computer and a great one like this one is worth paying for.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: could make it even bigger (wider) as far as I'm concerned. If it were 36" x 36" I'd buy it.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage Tracking. Awful Smell. No Durability.

Pros: Perfect Size for my desk, the curved bottom looks sleek, though is functionally counterproductive (see cons). Feels nice as a wrist rest.

Cons: - The little corners of the "curved" bottom part will without a doubt start peeling in the first week of moderate use. Without being extremely careful, this problem will absolutely worsen with time. Not acceptable for a "high quality" mouse mat

- The tracking performance of this mat is suspect out of the box. Slow vertical motions with an accurate high-DPI mouse (deathadder) produce EXTREMELY noticeable jumpy or jaggy cursor movements. Although the friction and glide is good compared to most cloth mouse mats I've used, this vertical movement problem WORSENS SIGNIFICANTLY with time. I've had this mouse mat for about 4 months, and in that time have brough it through a few large gaming sessions. My mouse hand sweats from time to time, and though I use a full palm grip, this mat has degraded so badly from use that at an eye-level with the desk its on, you can actually see the reflectiveness of the surface altered under the most-used "mouse part" of the mat. The vertical tracking is so bad that I thought my mouse was actually junked. Upon testing, the less-used parts of the mat track slightly better, but an 8 year old no-name mouse mat, as well as the plain wood of the desk, both track 1000% better than this full desk mat. Completely unacceptable.

In short, this is a bull-spit product trying to pass off as a high end one. Mionix needs to go back to the drawing board. In 4 months, this desk mat has gone from being a mediocre at best mouse and keyboard pad to being a mat to rest my old junk mouse pad on top of. If you want a full desk mat, try one of the other 2 brands out there.

Other Thoughts: It smells horrible out of the box. Couldn't really list this as a con, though.

5 out of 5 eggsJust awesome!

Pros: Thing is big, easily fits KB and Mouse on, with enough space to do sweeping movements needed in some pc games!

Cons: Starts to seperate a bit from when you rest your wrist by the mouse, put a little tape over it so it doesnt get worse.

Other Thoughts: Good deal for the price.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's Big

Pros: It's big and awesome!
900 cm long - finally a product a name which is descriptive of the product.

Cons: Less than a week after getting it the whole 'desk' pad was starting to peal up. Though I must say since then it has not seemed to get progressively worse.

The desk pad is not a high quality gaming mouse pad but it definitely is better than cheapy $5 ones.

The weird shape on the front confuses me, y not just make it a rectangle? I ended up just turning it around.

4 out of 5 eggsThe box says Deskpad for a Reason

Pros: - Smooth Surface :D!
- Stays pretty clean even when dust falls on it, you can just brush it off
- Very grippy
- Good thickness, not too cheap and thin and not too thick (haha thats what she said.)

Cons: - Smells Weird (Just for laughs :D)
- Doesn't make me a better gamer.

Other Thoughts: I did however take out ONE star BECAUSE, the edge/sides where my wrist/ forearm move around most the microfiber surface is beginning to slightly curl upwards and separating from the rubber mat under it, since I move my arms up and down it drags on the edge of the mat which is causing it to kinda break... try it now, keep your arm touching your table push alt and then move up to push F1 while still having your arm touching the table, notice how your arm drags on the table? or it does for me, imagine the edge of the mousepad being messed up like that.
