4 out of 5 eggsnot a bad deal

Pros: the things are long enough to extend past the edges of a full length keyboard by 1 inch on either side, so, no matter how you type, or if you are using the 10-key, you have a padded place to put your hands.

the base is VERY WELL connected to the pillow atop it. the reason i had to replace my old ones--a type of gel wrist pad with a solid rubber base-- is because the pad had totally disconnected itself from the base and was getting sticky glue all over my desktop...
i doubt i will have that issue with these ones.

The base of the pads is DEFINITELY non-skid, and stays where you put it; even if you stack one wrist pad atop another, the top pad stays in place, without sliding anywhere, while you type, play video games, or whatever.

And, of course, the other big selling feature for me was the price, a great deal for one, let alone the two that i purchased. and, they arrived promptly after the order was processed.

i read a bad review about the seller not using quality or original brand stuff; but i can find no indication of that here. these are definitely kensington brand wrist pads, and they are definitely made well. i will review again in a couple months, just to update on how they hold up after a few months use; but so far, i like them.

Cons: they are definitely not memory foam, but then, they do not claim to be; they simply claim to be wrist pillows, and that is what they are.

the mesh top that your skin sits upon as you type is not the softest material around; but then again, it is not crazy itchy either. perhaps it will soften up with use, we will see.

there is a slice, molded to be that way, designed to relieve carpal tunnel issues by allowing blood-flow to the hand easier, on the right hand side of the pad. Sadly, that is the only side that has the molded slice... i wish it was on both sides, as my right wrist is much more comfortable than the left wrist.

That said, the second reason, the molded gap only on the right hand side, is the reason i only provided 4 eggs instead of 5. i wish the manufacturer had put one of those gaps on both sides, it would have made for a much more comfortable typing experience.

But, overall, i enjoy this setup quite a lot..

Other Thoughts: i think it would be cool if these were offered in memory foam, AND had that gap running across the whole pad, like down the center.... or if they were to put a 1/2 inch gap, one every 2 inches, across the pad to add for comfort of both hands.
other than that, i like them a lot. i REALLY LOVE that you can stack them, as my laptop cooling fan is kinda tall, so i have to have 2-3 wrist pads stacked atop one another to reach the desired height above the keys. the pads have not moved once while i typed this entire review, and i can not tell you how nice that is.

i wish the seller had them in black, or red. but, perhaps, the blue, or perhaps purple--i am color blind--is the only colors they are manufactured in; happens sometimes. thanks for reading, i hope i could help someone else choose this useful product.
