5 out of 5 eggsslick pad

Pros: Incredibly smooth surface, low profile, comfortable.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The pad was finicky at first and I had to give it some play time before the surface tracked reliably. Seems to have broken in pretty quickly though.

5 out of 5 eggsGliding

Pros: Works perfectly with the Corsair Vengeance M65 Mouse I bought at the same time. The mouse glides effortlessly on top of it.

Also, good size of mat.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, Clean-Looking Pad.

Pros: Great grip, and looks great. No crazy gamer graphics all over it. Feels good on the wrist at the edges. Its pretty rigid. The size is good for what i need.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It felt funny at first due to the slippy plastic top, with my Logitech G-Series mouse, but i now find it better than any pad i have had. I hate my work pad now. I may buy another for work.

5 out of 5 eggsCorsair Mouse Pad + M60

Pros: Not overly grainy or rough to the touch. The proprietary software that comes with the Corsair M60 rates this mouse pad at 5 out of 5 surface quality.
The pad itself is very lightweight and the underside is very grippy.

Cons: This pad is a bit flimsy- you wouldn't want to bend it too much or it would leave a permanent crease.

Other Thoughts: I have seen other reviews of this mouse pad being paired with the M60 and other Corsair mouses, some will say they get a 3 or 4 out of 5 surface quality rating. I was constantly getting 5 out of 5 myself.

2 out of 5 eggsGREAT... but only for a month

Pros: When fresh, this mouse pad gave me unparalleled glide. The static friction was so low that it felt you could get your mouse moving just by thinking about it. The design was very clean and the material on the underside prevented slippage effectively.

Cons: Remember that glide I mentioned? Gone, within 2 weeks of normal use. I have a Zowie "Eff-Kay" (censor) and am not a particularly heavy handed gamer, but after a month the surface in the middle wore down considerably. Moving the mouse in the center of the pad now feels gummy, whereas the perimeter is still fresh and slick. If I hold the mouse under light I can see that the surface in the center is duller, grayer, and more worn. In short, I experienced severe durability problems with this pad, and have contacted Corsair support about getting a refund.

Other Thoughts: Though durability doesn't seem to be a big complaint among reviewers, I have heard from others who have had their MM400 lose its gliding characteristics within a month so YMMV.

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't Work with Corsair's Own Mouse

Pros: It's big, the surface practically has my mouse gliding across it, and it looks really slick despite the flat black color.

Cons: It doesn't work with the Corsair M45 Raptor I bought with the pad. I'm guessing it's because the black surface is too reflective for the sensor. Either way the mouse cursor will move on screen even when the mouse itself is not moving and when I -do- move it I have to fight with it to get any kind of accuracy out of it.

Other Thoughts: At first I thought it was a problem with my Raptor, but I pulled out an older (And smaller...) hard surface mouse mat, cleaned it off, and the Raptor works 100% fine.

I'll still be buying Corsair, was just a little disappointed one of their own mice didn't work on this pad.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Smooth

Pros: Very smooth and easy to run my mouse over. Everything you would expect from a mousepad!

Cons: The corners aren't rounded so if your arm isn't level (if its hanging off the table) then you will rub your wrist against the edge.

Other Thoughts: I use a Corsair M65 mouse with this pad and the two go great together!

3 out of 5 eggsNot compatible with R.A.T.7

Pros: Nice and smooth. Looks sleek.

Cons: Too big. Make sure you look at the dimensions.

Other Thoughts: Didn't work with my R.A.T.7 mouse but my mouse is picky and it needs a mouse pad designed for dual lasers. But i'm sure it's great with many other mice.

4 out of 5 eggswas hoping the whole thing would be hard

Pros: excellent surface and very big.

Cons: I was hoping this would be a little more rigid. I wanted a mouse pad that wouldn't flex if placed on a soft surface and unfortunately this isn't it.

3 out of 5 eggsAvoid if you have a Razer Mamba

Pros: Excellent quality, extremely smooth and looks great too

Cons: This pad has tracking issues with my original Razer Mamba that whenever I pick up my mouse it takes 2-5 seconds to let me move the cursor again. I was previously using a soft cloth mouse pad from Razer without issue, but I wanted to try out a hard mat since they always seemed nicer and do not get dirty. I have a ton of Corsair products which are always of the utmost quality so I am going to assume this is the mouse's issue, however I can not give it anymore than 3 eggs because of the "incompatibility"

Other Thoughts: If you have the original Razer Mamba I recommend looking at a different pad, maybe the Razer Vespula.

Hopefully Corsair will come out with a mouse that has the Mamba's optional wired or wireless design so I can buy it and use my mouse pad!
