5 out of 5 eggsThis thing is huge...

Pros: Have you gotten tired of your tiny mouse pad well look no further. This thing is huge, it's at least twice the size of your normal mouse pad and not to mention that it's made out of aircraft aluminum. It's super sturdy and both sides have a good feel to them. I prefer the slick side though.

Cons: The rubber feet on the corners aren't really that good at keeping it still on the table. So for the first day I had to fight with it. Finally I got some velcro and cut it to size and put it on the feet and the other half on the table. It no longer moves anymore. No real marks for that, it's still really good.

Other Thoughts: Did I mention this thing is huge.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Huge, sturdy, dual surfaces, rubber feet keep it from moving, looks great.

Cons: Huge, but that could be a benefit.

Other Thoughts: When I was reading the reviews for this pad, I was about to pull the trigger until I read a reviewer say how it bows in the middle when you put weight on it. That put me off, but I eventually decided to try it anyway. It can bow slightly, if you tend to put lots of weight on it with the heel of your palm. However, even so, the bowing is so minimal that as far as I can tell it does not affect tracking AT ALL. I mean we're probably talking like 1mm of bowing at the most for most users, and that's probably just underneath the heel of your palm, not underneath the area that the mouse is tracking. This is due to the fact that the rubber feet elevate the aluminum slab off your desk about a millimeter or so. At any rate, I can not see any issues with tracking, so it's a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.

Be warned, this thing is BIG. I neglected to actually take measurements, just read the measurements online and said "yeah that should fit.". The pad was quite a bit bigger than I expected it to be, and I have a fairly small desktop, but it still fits fine beside my keyboard. I just had to pick another spot on my desk to place my beer when I play games. Not a big deal for me, but people with smaller desks or cluttered desks may want to take measurements before committing to purchase.

I'd been using a hard plastic Alienware pad that I acquired back in like 2002 up until now. Obviously I loved that thing since I kept it around for 10+ years. It had a textured surface which is similar to the textured surface on this pad, except the Alienware textured surface was a bit more coarse than the textured surface on the MM600. There is no right or wrong with that as it depends on user preference. For me, it's close, but I think I prefer the MM600's textured surface to the Alienware pad's textured surface by a hair. However, I much prefer the smooth surface of the MM600 (the surface with the honeycomb pattern) to either.

In closing, the MM600 is a great pad that I can see myself using for the next 10 years or more, like I did with the Alienware pad that I've now retired. I'm using a Corsair M65 mouse with this pad and it's just perfect.

5 out of 5 eggscorsair mm600 is awesome!

Pros: doesnt slide around, doesnt collect dirt or other grime

Cons: since i need a con. When my computer room is cold this thing gets freezing cold and eventually starts to make my hand hurt.

Other Thoughts: i am really impressed and happy with this, i had a ripper xl before this and it eventually just got slick on top and would slip and slide around on my desk. This was a very good purchase and i am very happy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for Large Hands

Pros: -Great for people with large hands
-Great for palm users
-Feels very sturdy and not something that i'm going to crush like i did my old Razer Deathadder
-Love the button placements

Cons: Haven't come across any cons, been great so far in Wildstar

Other Thoughts: Only thing to state about the mouse is that i wish the thumb buttons were closer to the front of the mouse, takes a little movement for the thumb to reach the back 3 side button.

3 out of 5 eggsnot bad

Pros: Great mouse, love the feel of it in my hand. The amount of buttons at the tip of my thumb make mmo clicking a thing of the past. I loved the mouse at first.

Cons: After about a week, my Gshift button started to stick on a regular basis. Maybe once or twice when I am playing which makes it very frustrating to stick with this mouse. I feel like its time to find another mouse. If I am using my gshift button more often it sticks more often. I have, for the most part, stopped using the gshift entirely. making this a 12 button mouse... NOT what I wanted.

1 out of 5 eggsDoesnt work with the M65 Mouse

Pros: It feels very sturdy and well constructed
Nice large surface area
Rubber feet held it in place well

Cons: Does not work with the CORSAIR M65 mouse, the mouse just drags across it. Making a grinding noise.

Other Thoughts: I bought the corsair M65 mouse along with this mouse pad hoping for a great gaming experience. To my disbelief the mouse made a dragging/grinding noise moving across this mouse pad. It was a very annoying noise and I could even hear it with my headset on.

DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE PAD IF YOU HAVE A CORSAIR M65 MOUSE.

I am unsure if this is an isolated issue but I am greatly disappointed in this product.

5 out of 5 eggsAluminium to the Rescue

Pros: High quality aluminum construction
Dual tracking surfaces
Good weight for quality, but not too heavy
4 Rubber feet prevent unwanted movement
4 Rubber feet also prevent the corners of the tracking surface from peeling off; good idea Corsair!

Cons: Slightly louder than my CM Storm; see other thoughts
One side of the pad has a red stripe...?
Price, maybe?
That's all I've got..told you it was a stretch

Other Thoughts: The sound of the mouse sliding about the pad is a bit louder than my CM Storm pad. This holds true for either side of this pad. After looking at the bottom of my G700, the feet looked fairly worn.

I purchased CorePad GamersGear SKATEZ replacement mouse feet. You can find these tailor fit to your specific mouse for somewhere in the range of $10. I chose to buy a 10x7 centimeter pad, also $10, to cut feet for several of my mice.

There was no change in noise with the new mouse feet, but they are a bit slicker than the stock Logitech feet.

I then decided to round up my mice, all of which are Logitech, and see if this noise was dependent upon the different types of mouse feet. I also checked: VX Revolution, Wave Pro Mouse, MX Anywhere Mouse , M510, and M705.

I was surprised to find that all of the mice exhibited a distinct sound and that the MX Anywhere, M510 and M705 were louder than my G700. My Wave Pro, and my, now VERY old, VX Revolution were considerably quieter.

After testing 6 mice in total I have also found that there must be many different compounds used in Logitech mice feet, even though they all look extremely similar, if not identical.

I have concluded that the Corsair MM600's tracking surfaces are a little louder than my CM Storm. It is not intrusive, it is just that I've used the CM Storm for several years now and the difference was apparent.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Gaming Mouse Mat I have purchased

Pros: -This mat is really big, you won't run out of room.
-The double sided feature is great, I use both depending what I'm playing, but mainly the heavy textured side.
-I used to game on a SubZero mouse mat for a long time, and though it is still a good mouse pad, it is not as big as the MM600, and this is exacly what I needed on my new desk, just make sure you have enough room for it.
-It's made out of metal
-The rubber edges are excellent, 3 weeks in, and it has not moved at all.

Cons: -The price! Though it might be expensive, you do get your moneys worth. I absolutely do not feel cheated out of this purchase.
-Not a con for me but maybe to others, but this thing is pretty huge. Just make sure you have enough room on your desk for it.

Other Thoughts: So far it's been 3 weeks into owning it, and I can truly say that I am extremely happy with it. I play using different types of mouse grips for different games, and this mat has not given me any problems as far as control goes. I also use a Logitech G600, it is a really heavy mouse, and on the MM600, it glides nicely and smoothly.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Tracking is fantastic. I really enjoy using a solid surface, and the build quality is great. Very easy to clean.

Cons: There is NO tolerance for dirt on this mouse pad. You feel every tiny speck of dust.

Other Thoughts: It definitely feels different than most mouse pads. Not in a bad way, just...different. Takes a bit of getting used to.
