5 out of 5 eggsReview revisited to comment on durability.

Pros: I bought this almost 2 years ago. It has seen many hours of daily use. I have hyperhydrosis in my hands, they are constantly sweaty, when there is reason to be. This can be very hard on things like mouse pads and mice. This mouse pad holds up perfectly. I've washed it a few times, gently using very mild temperature water (less than body temp), and a small amount of soap, and a soft sponge, and always wiping away at the edges, all to minimize any affect on the glue or fraying, etc. The mouse pad has held up perfectly. The wobbly/warping from being rolled up does in fact go away, for me after a few weeks. The smell does eventually go away as well.

Cons: NewEgg let it run out of stock and doesn't keep it in stock anymore? Nobody else can enjoy this luxury-car of mouse pads. That's just very sad. It's still on sale from manufacturer though at comparable price. Should I need another, I can get one.

Other Thoughts: Maybe the younger generations just have no clue what quality mouse pads are anymore. I've used mice since they all were mechanical based. Now, I use optical or laser mice only, much preferring the laser. I like a mouse pad that stays put on the desk as I am moving my hand, that can even out any bumps in surface of a wood desk, or deal with having some random items under it like papers, etc.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Cadillac of Mouse pads

Pros: I really like the little bit of plushness this mouse pad gives you from it's double thicknexx! Makes my nice heavy gaming mouse silent even when I pick it up and set it down quickly (normally resulting in noise and a jar before with my hard style pad). Because of how thick it is depending on your desk this could easily serve as your wrist rest as well.

Cons: Not quite as fast as my hard surfaced mouse pad (duh!), takes a couple days to truly flatten out around the edges on your desk from being rolled during shipping

Other Thoughts: If you are in the market for a nice sizy soft style mousing pad, this one is going to be hard to beat at any price.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is superb. Best mouse pad I've ever seen.

Pros: Where to start? My desk got lost under the mouse pad. This is a good thing. No more running to edges, lifting, trying to reposition mouse. Silky-smooth surface. Very heavy, not about to slide off anywhere. Thick pad, very comfortable on the hand. Also, the thickness may help with sightly uneven surfaces. This is the way a mouse pad should be. Designed and made in the USA, something to be proud of. Mouse feet that I have do not grab in. There's some resistance to the mouse movement, of course. Just normal friction. It gives a good texture, aids in muscle memory and tactile response. I like it. Some may not, as you may use a little extra muscle. By comparison, my old mouse pad caused the mouse to stick and skip and stutter instead of gliding smoothly with just-enough resistance to feel it moving.

Cons: All of these cons are more of annoyances or areas of improvement for the manufacturer to consider.

The stupid logo in the corner. It's annoying. At least it's mostly out of the way, but it'd be a perfect product if it was not there at all. Put the logo on the back, or print smaller around the edges. Even if they made the logo like 1/2 size, it'd be much better.

Also, the fact that it comes rolled in a tube. Not sure that's the best solution. But it is a compromise that I understand. Now I have some little wobbly bits on the pad. It's cosmetic only. The mouse works flawlessly, and with time I am sure the little warps will wear out as it breaks in.

Also, that smell is quite overpowering. Plastics and rubbers should be given some sort of airing out or washing treatment. It is nauseating, honestly, even in a room with a fan blowing fresh air directly at me. Again, I understand, it's the nature of working with plastics and rubbers and other synthetic materials.

Other Thoughts: Even if I cut this mouse pad in half, each piece would still be more than 50% wider and 15% taller than my old mouse pad. Each half would suit me quite nicely.

My comments don't yet have the dimension of durability, as I have only just gotten and used the mouse pad within the past two hours. I was just that excited and impressed by my experience, I had to write a review right away.

5 out of 5 eggsBest mousepad I've ever owned!

Pros: THICK, but that's a good thing. Nice texture, easy glide, and easy to clean! Plus it's HUGE!

Cons: not thick enough!

Other Thoughts: I had steel series mouse pad before, but my desk had to many uneven areas (more of a table really) so mouse movements would dip into them and cause weird jerky reactions. This mouse pad is thick for those very reasons, to help uneven surfaces. My only desire was that it be even thicker!

5 out of 5 eggsHUUUUUUGE!!!

Pros: This mousepad is massive. The overall thickness of the material really helps to smooth uneven surfaces.

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Great tracking. Huge area.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent to pretty good

Pros: large enough, relatively smooth for a cloth based pad, thick and firm so your mouse feet doesn't sink in, and yet might be soft enough for most people.

Cons: for the month that i had it, it's already looking dirty with white scuff marks... and surprisingly splinters as well some how (got two of them so far...).

also there seems to be fraying on the edges from the factory, although it hasn't gotten worse, it's still annoying to look at.

Other Thoughts: i got it mainly for browsing and maybe some sniping, because i wanted to reduce the wearing just a little bit on my destructor pad. also i thought this was going to be a really soft pad... but not enough for me apparently, though it's not a big deal, so i didn't put it as a con.
