5 out of 5 eggsMy little helper

Pros: This is a very practical little mouse bungee. I ended up getting it for $5 after mail in rebate :) but I have to say that I refuse to go back to not having this little thing during my gaming sessions. I can just adjust mu mouse chord to the length I need and it wont budge until I manually adjust it again.

Cons: I wish it was heavier that it is. Every once in a while I move my mouse too far and it moves. Its very sturdy regardless. Still a 5 star product.

Other Thoughts: You can get a $6 bungee online but it will take a month to ship :).

4 out of 5 eggsgood for the price

Pros: The stand is really nice. The price wasn't too bad and it was made well.

Cons: Doesn't deal well with braided mice cords on higher end mice.

Other Thoughts: I wish it had a little more weight to it so I know it would never move when my mouse did. It doesn't seem to do it but if you extend your hand a bit too much then it will move.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello,

Thank you very much for the good feedback. We were definately curious how this device would perform with gamers. If we decide to redesign this concept in the future, we will definately look into larger cord sizes as well.

Thank you very much for supporting Cooler Master!

Respectfully,

Robert N.

4 out of 5 eggsAs espected

Pros: Well it is sturdy, the rubber feat are great for my plastic desk and it holds onto that mouse wire for me firmly. Since I own a wireless mouse that only needs to be plugged in every so often having something that can keep my cable in check for when it comes in need.

Cons: No cons so far

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: Keeps mouse cord tidy, out of the way. Just what it's meant to do.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought it when newegg had a rebate on it. While I keep my R.A.T. MMO7's cord already tied up with the build in velcro strap, the skorpion allows that little extra play I need for using my mouse.

Worth if it goes on sale/rebate offer again. Keeps my desktop setup tidy.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great, worth it after rebate price

Pros: The Skorpion works great for what it's meant to do, hold the mouse cord and prevent it from rubbing against things causing distracting drag and friction while you are using your mouse. It's not a gimmick, it really does work well.

The cord track/arm works great and even accomodates the extra thick and cumberson mouse cord of the Logitech G700.

The sturdy base does not move on my desk while I'm mousing and the arm does not tilt or fall over. With enough slack, there's no tugging on the Skorpion and it gives me a good 6" range of motion in either direction from center.

I paid $3 for this after MIR and took a chance at this price. I would maybe pay up to $10 without a MIR.

Cons: It's really big for what it is, maybe 6" leg to leg. The box is also really big for what's inside of it. CM should consider packing it in a smaller triangular box with see through plastic on top, which should cut down on shipping costs and make the product cheaper than it is.

Clever folks can probably engineer something like this using stuff they have lying around. Like a coathanger and fishing line.

Other Thoughts: There have been similar products as this in the past, one of the mouse mat makers used to have a little mouse clip that you could loop the mouse cord through, this is the same idea.

This works great with the Logitech G700, which is a cordless mouse, but the G700 has well-documented loss in sensitivity, accuracy, and polling rate when it is in cordless mode, so I always use it with the cord connected as a result.

Unfortunately, the cord on the G700 is also one of the thickest and most annoying when mousing. I had it looped with a zip tie base but even still I could feel the resistance of the cord at times. It works great now with the Skorpion.

The Skorpion should also work well with braided cables as that can cause some friction on a sharp edge of a desk or keyboard tray as well.

For $20 this thing isn't worth it. For $5 after MIR it's worth taking a chance. For $10 with no MIR I'd give it a whirl.

I took a chance on the relatively big $15 MIR because I've gotten 3/3 rebates from CM in the past 6 months. Takes a bit longer than other rebates, but they've come through.

5 out of 5 eggsWhere have you been all my life!

Pros: rubber top is bendable but not breakable, smart design because no matter how many tugs its sturdy

Cons: nothing

Other Thoughts: This mouse cord holder is awesome! I LOVE it, my mouse cord is braided & is ALWAYS getting snagged on my desk edge, when I saw this I was like hmmm ok. Now I dont think I can play games or use my computer without it!!

5 out of 5 eggsCOOLER MASTER DOES IT AGAIN!

Pros: -prevents my mouse cord from getting in my way during first person shooter games
-less mouse cord friction on the desk, allows for better game performance
- looks good
-weighted
-can double up as a paper weight

Cons: -none

Other Thoughts: i know some people might say the skorpion is useless, but i used a DELL oem mouse to game about 5-6 years ago. the dell mouse cord would always get in my way and distract me from the game. i dont play as much first-person shooters on pc anymore, but i wish i had this back then.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse Cord Holder

Pros: Has just enough weight to hold mouse cord steady.

If your the sensitive type person who feels the mouse cord drag on their desk the Skorpion holds the cord so it feels near wireless.

Cons: Only CON would be it takes up some desk top space which might be limited for some users.

Hard to take any stars off as it does what it's meant to.

Other Thoughts: I noticed mouse drag more on desk which are not as wide and the mouse cord drops off almost immediately.

Some people feel drag more than others and once you notice it becomes more prevalent. One of the family computers has a small desk and the cord weight is noticeable.

On my large desk where a good portion of the cord weight just lies on top doesn't create any drag and doesn't need any cord management.

An inexpensive simple solution and no need for extra bells and whistles like USB connectors, lights, etc.

Only need to figure out how much cord should be free. Don't want to little or too much. Best way to test how much cord to allow would be in game. You'll quickly see what it needs so you don't jerk around the Skorpion or keep the mouse from freely moving when your moving your mouse around frantically.
