5 out of 5 eggsLong Life

Pros: Large
Great Surface

Cons: Weird Shape

Other Thoughts: I have had my Destructor for seven years. It's still perfect in every way except the surface where I most move my mouse is pretty much smooth now.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best

Pros: This is the best quality Razer mouse mat out there still, even if they are no longer produced this is the highest quality Mat Razer ever made. I bought two of these when they were available and the tracking is just perfect.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is a very high quality mouse mat, if you can still find one of these buy it.

5 out of 5 eggsDurable Gamer Pad

Pros: For accurate, high DPI gaming mice, make no exception, this is a fantastic choice. Getting used to the rougher finish takes a little time, but it stays like a smooth and fine sandpapery feel throughout.

Comes with a case for vacations, notebook users, or going on LAN dates.

Likes my Razer mouse

Cons: It's pretty big so make sure you have the desk space!

Other Thoughts: I don't think a better pad exists, but I may be out of the loop

2 out of 5 eggsAlright Mouse Pad - Not worth the $$

Pros: The texture is great and my mouse moved on it like butter on a frying pan.

Cons: After a few months it started to warp and lose its shape and became pretty much useless. Not sure what caused it, maybe I had some warm food on it but nothing that should have caused such severe warping.

Other Thoughts: No mousepad is worth $40. This is just more Razer milking of the gaming market and I regrettably fell for it. Even if it didn't lose its shape it wouldn't be worth $40.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Buy

Pros: Its pretty big. Has a very nice tracking surface. DOES NOT MOVE AROUND DESK! The whole underside of it is a type of rubber. it stays PUT! The Exact rest from the exactmat fits PERFECTLY ON THIS!! Its a rigid mouse pad, it doesn't fold over or flop around. and of course give me excellent tracking with my Lachesis.

Cons: I dont know why, but i thought it was made of metal. I was hoping it was since i got rid of my worn out Exactmat and loved it. But the plastic is ok too.

The price was another con, but if it lasts me 2+ years like the exactmat did, then the price is fine.

Other Thoughts: Case was over kill i think. Dont get me wrong, its looks amazing and has great build quality, but it adds bulk when i wana go LAN so i dont use it. but a good place for long term storage. My Exact Rest from the exactmat fits PERFECTLY on this. had to get rid of the exactmat cause i polished the center of the Speed side and it was no longer giving me reliable tracking.

5 out of 5 eggsMade Me Feel Like I Was Cheating!

Pros: - Large surface area (originally was a con for me)
- Increased the tracking of every mouse I used on it (even non-gaming mice)
- Comes with a pretty sweet carrying case
- Unlike others, I have been using it heavily for 8 months, and the pad shows no signs of wear yet

Cons: This things is huge. I can see it being an issue for someone with limited desk space. I originally had a problem with it, but after rearranging my desk, it fits perfectly. Might be a bit pricey for some, also, but I think it's worth it (see other thoughts).

Other Thoughts: Since 1997, I had used the same black, economy mouse pad (I know, kinda nasty). It was fine for what I used it for. That was until I built my new system that could handle all the modern games, and was able to get back online to play.

I started noticing the problem in Bad Company 2: I was constantly having to reposition my hand (especially when turning the turret of a tank), and by the time I refocused my shot, I was dead. This was a constant frustration.

Then I got this pad. I began to have less issues aiming and looking around, and my kill count started going up (and that only improved once I got my Razor Death Adder mouse). I became much less frustrated playing online, and began to improve so much that I thought somehow I might have been cheating!

Also, the case my be a little much, but it is pretty cool to walk into a LAN, and start unzipping this baby!! It's like unloading and adding another weapon into your gaming arsenal!

5 out of 5 eggsLove at first drag

Pros: Size
Low drag
Bottom curve
Carrying case

I want to reiterate the bottom curve, because it allows for really wide sweeping curved mouse gestures, even at low DPI without having to go off the mouse pad with one or more of your feet.

Cons: The one problem that I have with this is that it's almost TOO big. I have only a small desk at college right now, and fitting my keyboard on next to this is challenging. It's manageable though, as I often use my keyboard on my lap.

Other Thoughts: Bought this at the same time as my new Imperator, which is personally my favorite Razer mouse, and they work together perfectly.

I wish that Razer would give you felt bags or something to carry their mice in, sort of like the case for this. For some reason, even my last power supply came with one of those. Oh well. I guess that the world isn't perfect. If it was, this combo would make my coffee so I could get up later.

You could say that in terms of ornamentation, it's shy of other Razer products (just the bit of text in the bottom corner), but really it's a mouse pad. I really bought this for performance and not to look pretty

4 out of 5 eggsTruly worth it!

Pros: Currently using a Razer Mamba and was having a hard time finding a mouse pad that could really keep up with it's DPI. The Destructor has to be the best gaming mouse pad I've ever had to date. Large area for wide range of movement. Great grip on my glass desktop and other materials.

Cons: Price is a little higher than most pads out there, but worth every penny.

Other Thoughts: Over the years I've spent a lot of money on replacing keyboards, mice, and mouse pads. I can truly say this mouse pad will be around for at least the life of two to three mouses. Great pad, would recommend it to any gamer, editor, or multi-tasker.

2 out of 5 eggsUpdate after owning for a few weeks

Pros: Well, when in original condition, the feeling of frictionless hover of my g9x was absolutely amazing. However, see cons.

Cons: After a few weeks of heavy use the middle of the pad is wearing out. While not visible to the eye, the feel of the pad is now very different between the heavy used middle and the unused edges. As in, edges are still smooth as new, while the middle has lost its flare and the mouse movement is slowly beginning to resemble a 5$ rubber mat (not quite there yet though).

Other Thoughts: If I were to buy another pad (as I soon will probably have to), I would stay away from this and maybe all razer pads altogether, as I don't trust their longevity anymore. Wearing out after a year is acceptable, but after a bit more than a month is frustrating for the price this thing costs.
