This Lite-On 20x LH-20A1L drive writes 4.7GB of data in about 5.5 minutes to DVD+R, and supports all DVD formats. Fantastic As Usual
- Pros: Lite-Ons are fantastic. Litescribe works great and it's not any noisier than any other drive. If you burn a DVD at 20X it's going to make some noise, that disc is spinning really fast.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: I'll put it to you this way. I had another Lite-On burner I took to Iraq with me for a year 2003-2004. Most other people replaced a CD/DVD drive 2-3 times out there. I used this the entire time, and to this date it still works fine. When you pull it out you can shake it and here sand and dust in it...still burns CDs at 40X...
Great Burner!
- Pros: Install was easy and was up and running in no time. Burnes my 16X Sont Media at 20X with no problems at all.
- Cons: a little loud, but thats to be expected
- Other Thoughts: This isa great burner for a great price. Gotta love New Egg service as well. If your looking for a good DVD Burner, you should get this one.

good burner
- Pros: Price is right on this unit. Does the burning and ripping of DVDs and CDs to my like. Color of the unit is consistent and seems to be constructed decent.
- Cons: The thing gets LOUD when burning, but it's not technically a con because I know the things working overtime for me.
- Other Thoughts: Great unit for the price!!! would buy again and recommend to anyone that needs a DVD/CD R/RW
Its ok
- Pros: Fast and cheap
- Cons: Tray mechanism broke (or went wonka). What I meant was when I want it to eject, sometimes it'll not eject. Either via the button or software. It gets stuck from time to time. Also very noisy =(
